I bought their carpet cleaner that was $15 per bottle for spot cleaning. It works great with pet accidents.

I just had my kitchen renovated which included a lot of traffic in and out of our home. The carpets needed cleaning before renovation so I was anxious to get them done before a birthday party I was hosting on 2/16/13. I procrastinated until the week of the party. However, I found Stanley Steamer on Angie's List, call them and they were very accommodating giving me an appointment the next day. I told them I would be coming from work so I really needed a phone call 30 minutes before they arrived at our home. That was no problem. Two young men were at my home just minutes before I arrived. It worked out perfectly. They evaluated the rooms to be cleaned (living room, dining room and hallway) and began cleaning immediately. They were done in no time. We discussed at maintenance standard to keep the carpet looking like new. I paid the bill and the whole process was great. I was so worried I wasn't going to get my carpets cleaned in time but Stanley Steamer made it so easy. I would not hestitate to recommend them or use them again! It was the epidemy of GREAT SERVICE!

They did a great job removing grease and orange juice stains from the carpet. I was very pleased with how the carpets looked afterward. This was my second time using their carpet cleaning services, and I would use them again.

So far, so good ... and if, as we anticipate, all goes well, we will have them back for other work as needed.

The washing machine in the condo upstairs overflowed late Sunday night, July 1, and some water got into my condo. Luckily I was home and able to mop most of the water up, but the carpet and walls were definitely wet, so professional help was needed. On July 2, one of the condo maintenance staff suggested that Stanley Steemer could dry out the carpet. Stanley Steemer arrived promptly and looked at the damaged areas, and tested for the presence of water behind the walls. They said that there was definitely some water near the baseboards, but they felt that a different contractor should be called because the job was small. I thanked them and appreciated their honest assessment of the situation. I would consider calling them again, although maybe for carpet cleaning which is actually their specialty.

They prep the house. They do the extras that make it a great experience.

I had used them previously with good results. However, after cleaning my carpets this time, when they were dry, the upstairs hall had two spots that were "bleached" out. I called them and they sent out a supervisor who said that it was because of something that had previously been spilled on the carpet reacting with the cleaning chemicals. This is baloney, nothing had been spilled in those areas. They tried to dye it back to the same color, which did not work. I kept calling them and leaving messages for the manager with no response. I had to replace the carpet.

Carpet cleaning excellant; chair cleaning and protection excellant. Grout job not so good. Problem was, like the previous 2 cleanings (every 6 months) I was told that I should add protection to carpets. When told my carpets are Stainmaster I was told steam cleaning ruins the staimaster protection. The first time I simply declined the service. But later went to Staimaster's web site where I found in their FAQ's their statement that steam cleaning does not affect the Stainmaster protection. I printed that out and the next time a different crew arrived and also told me their cleaning would remove the Stainmaster treatment. I showed them the statement from Stainmaster and declined the service. They were surprised. The last time another crew again tried to sell me their treatment for the same reason. I asked why all the crews try to sell that service. He said because his boss tells them to do that. I showed him the printout and he was surprised. I told him I was going to report them to the State. He laughed hard. I did report the incident to the Florida Department of Consumer Protection (telling them that I had no quarrel with the quality of the work over the years). FDCP responded telling me they forwarded my complaint to Hillsborough County. Some time later Hillsborough sent me their report and the response they got from Stanley Steemer. They denied anyone tells customers that steaming ruins Stainmaster protection and that customers are being told the recommendation to respray was to protect the carpet for the very deep area that collects damaging dirt and is beyond the capabilities of the Stainmaster coating to protect. Therefore, Hillsborough believed no laws were broken, therefore no legal action could be taken. I replied that the story I was given on at least 3 occasions was different from and not even close to what they were told. As a result, I have discontinued using Stanley Steemer.

We are satisfied with them. They do a good thorough work and they have always been good. They did multiple rooms and it was probably in the $125 range. They are responsive. We had a problem and they came back on it. They are very professional and their punctuality is good. We would continue to use them in the future.

The guy did a marvelous job. One of the reasons he did an outstanding job and made sure everything was perfect because the manager at the time in this area happened to be the son of a very good friend of ours. We highly recommend them anyway because he did a great job. It was a fair bid, but we also got a discount. The price was reasonable compared to other places. We got a good deal, on what we had done because of the circumstances. Everything was fine. When he left, the tile looked very clean. Other than that, we really liked the new color they put on the grouting. When they left, we didn't even know they were here because everything was wiped down. We are perfectly happy with it. We wanted to change the color of grouting, so he showed us a number of colors. He knew we wanted grays and he suggested us a color, and we went with his suggestion. He is 100% right. They were right on time, when they came.

They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went just fine with them. Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience. I did have a few stains that wouldn’t come out though. The crew was very professional and friendly. I didn’t have any problems with this company and I would use them again.

It had been almost 5 years since we had our tile and grout scrubbed. There were two workers and they were both the most wonderful guys ever! The one thoroughly explained every detail of the process to me and my husband. They did such an amazing job, everything looked brand new! I was very impressed with how polite they were without being standoff-ish. We will use them for all of our floor and upholstery cleaning needs from now on!

We have used them 3 times. We asked them to send out the people who came out the first time and they were pretty good about that. The two technicians who came over were friendly. They explained what they were doing. They were fast and efficient. They didn?t let the cat out. We will use them again.

Stanley Steemer offers fast, convenient carpet cleaning service. Their equipment really gets out smells and stains. Sometimes the specials they offer on TV aren't exactly what you get when you go to the Web site or call them on the phone, but overall, their work makes enough of a difference that it's worth spending the money. I have not tried the tile cleaning yet, but may do so in the future.

The morning we moved in, discovered we had no water! Called Stanley Steemer to cancel - they were great! They said they could come late afternoon instead - we were unsure when water would be available. They kept in touch and were there for the last appointment of the day. They thoroughly cleaned the carpets - we had a really bad stain in one room - it was gone! Would recommend Stanley Steemer and would definitely use them again.

I called to schedule having 3 bedrooms, living and family room cleaned. I had used the service in the past with fine results. This time, I was quizzed a great deal about the room sizes, which frankly I could only guess. When the cleaners arrived, I was hard sold into buying some sanitizing and coating products. I had to leave while they were working (left my husband to monitor). When I returned they were done and had left, but the following issues were found: they didn't move or place metal Leg/based objects back on wet carpet, didn't move a couple of side chairs at all to clean under and charged me for an entire extra room. I called to complain and was only given excuses. I asked them why I was charged for the extra room and they said they charge double for over size rooms. I explained the entire room wasn't even cleaned, as there is a pool table and one of the bedrooms was only cleaned on about 25% of the square footage due to storage area. They didn't care and offered no explanation. I won't use Stanley again. Poor customer service.

They were very efficient. They were right on time and got the job done in a very timely manner. They were respectful and would listen to anything I had to say.

They did a good job. They moved our furniture to clean under it and then moved it back when they were done. They also spot treated some areas for us as well. We would use them again in the future.

Their crew is very professional. Our carpet looks great when they are done! Considering we have 6 pets, they do a great job at spot removal and high traffic areas.

IT WAS OK BUT MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PEOPLE DEPENDS ON WHO COMES OUT. IF I GET A GOOD WORKER, TAKE HIS NAME DOWN, BECAUSE SOME OF THEIR WORKERS TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND SOME DON'T. I'VE HAD THEM BEFORE AND HAD GUYS WHO DIDN'T TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. IF YOU WANT TO USE THEM, ASK FOR THEIR MORE EXPERIENCED WORKERS.

The rug company was doing work for other neighbors when I saw them and asked if they would look at my rug. The tech came in and tried several chemicals and found one that worked. We scheduled an appointment and all was good.
