Sky Wood & Tile Flooring

Luiz and his team are amazing, and I highly recommend them!! They did a remarkable job and were so easy to work with. You can imagine that tiling an entire house (in phases) can be a very time consuming and a frustrating task, but Luiz and his guys made it as easy as it could possibly be...even helping move furniture (on 3 separate occasions) from one side of the house to the other and then back again once everything was completed. They didnâ t have to do this, but they wanted to so they could see the final product. I cannot imagine anyone not being happy with his work as he's a great person, runs a very professional business and charges a fair price for fantastic craftsmanship!

Bought a new home and needed to replace flooring in all bedrooms. Everything was done professionally and he cleaned up and sent pictures every day I was at work. I definitely recommend as he was the best in wood tile and reasonably priced!

We hired Sky wood and tile flooring to tile three of our bathrooms. They wanted 50% down deposit (for labor) which I didn t feel comfortable doing due to past experiences. So we came to the agreement that I would pay at the completion of each bathroom. The tile in my kids bathroom looked like an earthquake hit it. I couldn t believe how uneven and how much lipping the tile had. I asked him if it could be fixed, and he said no that that was the way small tile laid. After meeting with several different contractors, they told me that was not true. At that point he had already started bathroom 2, but he kept asking me for money for the kids bathroom, so I finally agreed and I paid him 1200 (even though it wasn t all the way completed). Once they grouted the kids bathroom, it became even more obvious how uneven it was, not to mention the grout was left in chunks, missing in several places, overall a huge mess. At that point he had rushed through the pool bathroom so he could get paid, and I refused to give them any more money until the kids bathroom was fixed and to my satisfaction. The following day I finally had a chance to go back to our home to check on the pool bathroom. All the tile in there was lipping and the grout was once again left in chunks and a huge mess. After several attempts to get a hold of him, he finally answered and told me that he would be happy to go and fix the kids bathroom, but that I had to pay him for the pool bathroom so he could pay his guy . I was floored. I couldn t believe he was asking me for more money knowing that both bathrooms are now messed up. I begged him to do the right thing and to fix this for me, and that once everything was fixed (and after I deducted all the extra material I had to buy), that we would settle on a price. He ended up blocking me, and now I m left with no bathrooms. I found a contractor who does not want any money until I am satisfied, and told me this is one of the worst jobs he has seen in a long time. I had to tear down $3000 worth of tile and spend an additional $3000 to replace it. If you are thinking of hiring him, think twice. Please feel free to contact me on here and I will send you pictures. Trust me, once you see the pictures you will go running. The fact that he could do a job like that, and think it was OK to take someone s money is a joke. What I think happened was, he rushed through the job so he could get paid, and left me with poor workmanship. People work very hard to update their home. Also, be careful, because I don t think he has Worker s Comp.

Luiz and his workers did an excellent job laying our wood tile. We would definitely recommend them to others and will use them again in the future.

Very professional, true artisans

I can t say enough about Luiz and his team! I had a big job (installing ceramic wood look tile) in my entire home of over 3200 sq ft, coupled with a time crunch and extenuating circumstances. Luiz worked everything out with me and was able to accomplish said task in about 5 actual working days. They were punctual, hard-working and fast! Clean-up was a breeze and my family and I couldn t be happier with the look of our new floors! I d definitely recommend Sky Wood & Tile Flooring any day of the week! Big thanks again!

Very good experience with this company. Did a great job installing my master shower floor over the old one and it took one full day to do which resulted in a very professional new floor. Had to remind the owner that he was sealing the tiles as well but that was a honest forget me moment . I would recommend them for any tile work!!!

I have worked with many contractors before and Luiz was exceptional! He called me on a Sunday to talk about my project and arrived as promised the next day to give me a quote. He and his helper completed my job promptly and I will use them again in the future for other tile projects we have. I highly recommend him. The craftmanship is wonderful and he is very courteous. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with a contractor.

Luis and CJ were very professional. Project was shower remodel. Turned out gorgeous. Timeline 3 days all completed. Wonderful outcome. Beautiful work. Excellent cleanup. Always on time with good communication and feedback. I definitely recommend Sky Wood and Tile. I will let others know of their great work.

They were great! They were punctual, professional, and worked quickly. The price was also VERY reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and if I need work in the future, I will be using them again.

Fast, reasonable price, professional

This company has integrity and great customer service. The guys were a pleasure to work with. They did a high quality job and in my opinion did a good job cleaning up afterwards. I've had other contractors not do as well. Will likely hire again when I need tile work done in my bathroom.

Would definitely hire again, great quality work, and kept me updated through the install with pictures and texts.
