Description of Work: Fixed leak in roof,also put on new top for chimney. Did an excellent job. No leaks so far but we had to call several times to finalize payment .Also we were concerned that we could have had another leak in a different location but at the time they were just so busy. The gentleman who originally came out and quoted job was awesome! Knew what he was talking about, was not interested in cutting cornerstone and took the time to explain all that was needed.

Description of Work: Solar panels on roof came loose,causing roof to leak. They came out & showed me pictures of attic that had a molded area & water stains. They sent out one man to fix it. At first I was pecimistic, but I am forced to say that the worker was amazing! He was relentless in fixing my roof & he didn't take any short cuts. He actually cut out the damaged section of the roof, then rebuilt & replaced it much better than it was originally ! Of course they don't send him out to replace an entire roof. His job is to repair small problems, which is why he works alone. Again, he was amazing!!

Description of Work: Met with representative and he went over the whole process. They offered other services, that I chose to add on, which were very convenient (i.e. gutters, insulation, ...). Workers were prompt, organized, respectful, clean. Job completed as scheduled and followed up to ensure job and cleanup done properly.

Description of Work: I needed to replace my entire roof due to wind damage, so I asked for quotes from various roofing companies in the Tampa Bay area. Unfortunately, most seemed to be run by "good ole boys" who ran their roofing companies out of their kitchens, and were in that line of work because a roofer was the only one who would hire them when they were first learning a trade. In fact, one company representative promised me that he "...wouldn't let the guys pee on the trees in the yard, and would try to keep the cussing to a minimum." | |Much to my surprise and great delight, Shingle Masters was the shining exception. Their representative, Mr. Brock Beauchaine, was the epitome of professionalism. He walked the roof, completing an inspection, consolidated his findings and recommendations, and then came inside and gave me a presentation that was impressive in scope, thorough, and included multiple options on materials and other work that could be performed. He also recommended additional work that he said could save me money on homeowner's insurance because his company included a general contractor who was qualified to do work that would lessen damage due to hurricanes and/or extreme wind conditions. I had a few questions, which he seemed to have anticipated, since he had handouts, and facts and figures, which answered all of them. When I explained that although I was willing to commit to the work, I would like my wife involved (she is the "designer" of the house's appearance, and knows more about color and appearances than I ever will). Mr. Beauchaine said he was more than willing to return at some time when my wife was home, and would give her the same presentation. Several days later, he did exactly that. | |His installation crew arrived at exactly the time he promised, assembled their tools and materials, and at exactly 8:00 am, they marched single-file up the ladder and on to the roof. It took them several days to complete the roof along with the additional work, and the materials needed were exactly what Mr. Beauchaine's written estimate indicated they would be. Before departing, the crew cleaned up the ground and yard areas where the old roofing materials had been thrown, removed all trash, and then went over the grass with a large magnet (which found roofing nails that were hidden in the grass and dirt). I am happy to say that the new roof has improved the appearance of my house significantly, and after one full year of use (and tons of rain from the 2015 rainy season), I have seen no evidence of a leak anywhere. I am also able to confirm that Mr. Beauchaine's promise that my homeowner's insurance would go down in annual cost has been absolutely true, and I am now saving $400 annually, from what I was paying prior to the roofing work done by Shingle Masters. | |I don't normally bother with recommendations for service work done, since I believe most companies do what is expected and meet requirements. Shingle Masters, however, were so professional in their entire approach, and their work was done to such high standards of quality, that I do not hesitate to give them my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Description of Work: Removed satellite dish that was pulling up shingles. Repaired wood on roof and put down new shingles. Excellent..Little snafu with scheduling, but the job was done ahead of schedule and at cost. Excellent service.

Description of Work: I had a TECO energy analyst (my electric company) out about a week ago to check on my insulation and duct work, a free service they offer and after inspection he said all was good but recommended I get off ridge vents installed. I had my roof replaced via Home Depot about 8 months back and was puzzled why the roofers did not put in vents at that time, the TECO analylist said some time roofing companies just put in the minimum to get by. Instead of going through Home Depot again I decided to look up roofers on AL instead and contacted SHINGLE MASTERS. Ed came out today and went on the roof to check out what needed to be done and soon came back a few minutes later with pictures showing me that the Home Depot roofers had already put in roof ventilation. He then looked in the attic and showed me how the the light was coming through. Not sure what the TECO analyst was thinking but the friendly up front honesty form Ed and Shingle Masters was a pleasure to come across. I believe this is a company you can trust with all your roofing needs.
