Member, I apologize that we are unable to address your roofing needs. Unfortunately, we do not service your area, and as I'm sure you know, Tropical Storm Debby has given us four straight days of rain. We are fully booked in our service area and cannot service Mulberry at this time. Good Luck with your roof repair!

Fantastic! We were unable to commit to the work for almost 6 months after gathering quotes. ShingleMasters honored their price even though costs had gone up. Materials were delievered. Work commenced. Tarps went up. Tear down began. They kept the entire yard and driveway clean the whole time. Needed repairs were done without any additional cost. Underlay was applied - very thoroughly. Their workers are exceptionally professional from start to finish. No subs. SingleMasters did all the paperwork to register our warranty and provided completed forms, a wind mitigation report, and digital photos for our insurance. Our neighbors have made several comments on the job - everyone was impressed with their work and a few intend to use ShingleMasters for their roofs. One minor problem arose. A small tear in a screen caused by a wind blown piece of scrap was immediately repaired -no questions asked! We recommend them without reserve. We could not be happier.

I had got three different estimates and their estimate wasn’t far off from the other ones. They were very good about what they did. I did have a little issue; there was a little accident that happened while they were doing the repair but they took care of fixing to what happened. Several people came out to take care of couple of extra issues that I had talked about with them. They did a walk through on their visit and made sure that I was satisfied with everything before they actually requested the payment. That was very good of them to do so.

Everything went well. A roofing crew of 8 showed up promptly at 7:00AM. Ed Beauchaine (Owner of Shingle-Masters) was on site as well. He explained to his crew what was expected of them and exactly what work had to be done. The dumpster had been delivered 2 days prior. Ed's crew immediately began removing the old roof and making repairs to damaged plywood. When Ed had to leave he was replaced within minutes by his son Mike. Mike then over-saw the operation. The entire roof was removed within 2 1/2 hours. Really quick given the size of the roof!! All repairs were made to existing plywood and waterproof membrane was installed. Ridge vents were cut into all ridges. PROBLEM. The way the roof trusses were designed, there were no nailers (2x4's running across the ridge) Workmen had to remove sections of roof to install new 2x4 nailers. ( Extra work not anticipated, but not charged extra for.)Shingles went up, plumbing vents, exhaust vents, ridge vents were replaced with new. The entire crew of eight with Ed or Mike supervising, were here from 7:00AM to 7:30PM. The crew worked super hard. I spent 60 bucks and bought all of them some lunch. I didn't have to do this, but I felt it was a small token of my appreciation for all the hard work they did. And they did appreciate the lunch...the were all very happy and thanked me sincerely. THE ENTIRE ROOF WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED IN ONE DAY!The entire yard looked like a disaster area while work was in progress, but was cleaned up very well prior to the crew leaving.
Description of Work: Services included complete removal of existing roofing shingles, tar paper (30 lb. felt), aluminum drip edge, exhaust vents, lead sleeving on plumbing vents, and old nails. All the above were replace with new. Shingles were upgraded with 41 squares new GAF HD architectural shingles, Owens Corning peel & stick waterproofing membrane was used in place of traditional tar paper. New additonal ridge vents were added on all ridges. 2 additional roof surface vents were added as well.. All rotten plywood was removed and replaced. The entire roof was re-nailed with nails every 6 inches to comply with Hurricane Code for Hillsborough County, Florida. Also included is a complete Wind Mitigation Report to be sent to Homeowners insurance company for possible discount. The price noted above reflects only the roof replacement. We are having our chimney rebuilt as well. This is scheduled to take place in 2 days for an additional amount. The entire old roof is to be hauled away. A 10 year workmanship warranty is included.

I called Shingle Masters to get an estimate on the repair and/or replacement of the fascia boards on my roof. I requested an afternoon appointment time so that I would not be forced to miss a lot of work. Ed Beauchaine contacted me the morning of the appointment and asked if I would move the appointment up to lunch time because he had other appointments reschedule and now had a large gap of time before mine. After explaining to him that I was at work and unable to leave before our scheduled appointment time, he asked if he could drive by my house to inspect the boards and then call me with an estimate. After not hearing from him for the next two days, I called and left a voice mail at their office. To this day, I have yet to hear back from this company.

We did come to this client's home and look at the repairs needed. An emailed proposal was sent to them, at the email address provided. We have received no response from the client regarding scheduling this work as outlined in the repair proposal. We have done no work for her, and we came out to do the quote she requested on the day we said we would, and provided a proposal accordingly. I do not understand her rating of our company, especially since we have not even provided any services to her, out than a FREE estimate of the repairs to her home. We would not have wasted our time going all the way to her home, and not provide a quote. As stated I am confused by her rating, since no services have been provided to her? I do not have any voicemails from the client either?

I had discovered a leak over my garage and found a rotted section of decking about the size of a quarter. I contacted Shingle Masters and they arrived the next day to do a repair estimate. He determined that a beny nail under the paper had cut through a was the origination of the leak. He recommended replacing a section of the deck above and below the source, The worker arrived as scheduled and informed me what he would be doing. He completed all the work in about 2 hours and had me check the repairs. I was pleased at the quality of the work and overall experience of dealing with this company.

Brock Beauchaine responded very quickly and professionally to my request for an estimate. He was on time for our scheduled appointment and after a short explanation of their overall process, he climbed up on the roof to evaluate the existing roof and take measurements. After completing his assessment (about 45 minutes total), he thoroughly explained three different options, the estimated price of each option, and answered all of my questions. I asked him to provide me a written estimate of the option I selected, which he sent to me within a few days. After I reviewed it and requested several revisions, he sent me a final contract to review, and we agreed upon an approximate schedule to begin the work. He came back several days later and we went over the contract in detail and he explained how the work would proceed, what we could expect, as far as noise and vibration inside the house while the work was going on, and to complete the permitting paperwork. The Friday before the work was supposed to begin, I received a call from the office informing me that the work would start on Thursday, Feb 23. However, on Tuesday, Feb 21, I received a call from Ed Beauchaine, the project supervisor, informing me that they would begin work the next morning, at 7:00 am. At 7:00 am on Feb 22, a trash trailer was delivered to my house, set it place, and the delivery driver left within 5 minutes. No sooner did he pull out of the driver than a Shingle-Masters truck pulled up in front of my house, along with three other vehicles. Ed Bouchaine introduced himself to me while the members of his crew unloaded their tools and equipment. By 7:30 am, 8 workers were on top of my roof, beginning the removal of my original shingles and roofing. I periodically evaluated their progress during the day and was completely astounded how well they worked professionally as a team - it was readily apparent that each member of the small 2-3 man team knew exactly what the other members of his team were doing and they meshed together perfectly. They worked throughout the day, taking only a one-hour lunch break and began breaking down about 30 minutes before darkness and cleaned up the area before leaving for the evening at 7:00 pm. The entire crew was back on the job at 7:00 am the next morning and done shortly before noon on Feb 23. The only thing that needed to be done was the painting of the replaced facia and soffit, which Ed explained to me would be done by their punch-out man on Monday, Feb 27, which it was. Ed also explained that the office would be contacting me to set up an appointment for a final inspection with Brock, at which time, upon payment, Brock would provide me with the warranty paperwork, as well as the wind mitigation inspection verification forms that I could submit to my homeowner's insurance company. That occurred exactly as scheduled. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the entire project and the quality of the work that Shingle-Masters provided. While their price was slightly higher than some of the estimates I received, I had absolutely no qualms with paying slightly more - the professionalism of the entire team and the quality of their work was absolutely superb. To my great surprise, when I submitted, to my homeowner's insurance company, the wind mitigation verification inspection form, with the associated photographs that Shingle-Masters provided me, I was notified that my homeowner's insurance premium was being reduced by slightly more than $1,000/year.
Description of Work: Removed all original shingles, felt, nails, vants, valleys, lead boots, eaves drip, and all damaged plywood. Made all necessary repairs to plywood, fascia, soffit, rafter, and flashing. Nailed all plywood to code. Installed Peel & Stick under laminate on entire roof, sealed eaves drip, vents, double valley material, lead boots; reinstalled squirrel guards; installed starter strips, 100' ridge and 4 off-ridge vents and new GAF HD Timberline shingles. Painted all new facia and new soffits using existing paint that I had remaining from recently repainting the house. Roofing size was approximately 4.500 sq. ft. Cleaned out all gutters. Cleaned up area around the house completely and removed all old material from property. Included GAF Golden Pledge warranty for roof system - 25 yr warranty on workmanship and 50 year warranty on shingle materials. Performed wind mitigation inspection and completed all insurance discount forms.

They were very professional and had great prices. The plywood sheets were included in the price where as another company was only going to give me 3 free sheets and then charge me fifty dollars a sheet. They saved me over $800.00 over the other quotes. I bought an extended warranty from the shingle company who then came out and inspected the work of Shinglemasters.

Everything was as quoted and the stucco work was done really well. It has rained several times since then and I have not seen one drip.
Description of Work: We had a leak around the chimney due to the fact that the roofer we hired back in 2001 did not do a competent job. His crew fixed the leak which had finally broken through the plaster and had started staining the ceilings, built a cricket that was not put in, flashed the chimney correctly, re-stuccoed the chimney to match the existing brick pattern and painted the stucco to match the existing finish. He also fixed pop ups and fixed vents the squirrels had been chewing on and put up the squirrel guards that the other roofer did not, he also corrected an issue w/ the ridge vent that wasn't put in properly.

He was good and came to look into a small leak. He did put in some nails and glued the same. He came out gave me the estimate and then did the work. I provided him with the shingles, which I had. He was very professional and neatly dressed. He was a uniformly dressed person and there has been no leak after that. It was a day’s job and a single person did the job. He seemed very professional and according to me I thought it will cost me around $400 and it was almost the same. My shingles match and the roof does not leak anymore. I will use him again in the future.

We chose Shingle masters after getting quotes from several other local roof companies and also from the Home Depot and Lowes. Shingle Masters quote was competitive and was all inclusive ( some others didnt include trim painting and skylights). They were much lower than Lowes and HD and sort of in the Middle compared to other local Roof companies. We went with them because we felt they were the most reputable and knowlegable of the roof companies we interviewed. We also liked that it is a family owned business. One of the owners came out to give the estimate and was at the beginning and end of the job to make sure things were being dome right. We are truly pleased with the work! Mike was our contact and he even gave us his cell phone number to call if we had any questions....... They also matched the trim paint ( 10 year old paint!) perfectly. I recommend this company if you are looking for a new roof!
Description of Work: We had our entire roof replaced, 2650 SQ FT house. Also replaced 2 Skylights and brought roof up to current hurricane code. Shingle masters removed all existing shingles, replaced any bad wood, repaired any damage, installed water barrier , applied shingles, installed flashing and the ridge vent. They also painted the trim to match.

No problems whatsoever. Brock was willing to answer any questions I had, and explained exactly what materials would be used and what they were going to do.
Description of Work: I had a totally positive experience on a project that could have been a nightmare. I have an old house with a complex roof that I had to have replaced as a requirement for renewing my homeowners insurance. I selected Shingle Masters because of the excellent reviews on Angie's List and the fact that they were located fairly close to my home. Also, they were general contractors and had experience in converting flat roofs to angled. A portion of my roof on an addition was flat and had been an off-and-on problem for years. Also, because of the age of my house, there was a fair amount of wood that needed replacement. Brock spent hours coming up with a viable plan for eliminating my flat roof. He explained everything in detail and provided a diagram. He explained what would be happening on my roof and told me it would be done in within 5 days. The workers arrived early, worked competently and left late. Everytihng was completed in 4 days. Brock told me to be sure to let him know of any problems, but there have been none whatsoever. The roof looks great.

We developed some leaks in our roof during some of the recent summer rains. Since the original roof was 19 years old, we decided to research the cost of replacing the roof, as opposed to repairing the existing leaks. We got estimates from several roofing companies, ranging from $12000 - $18000, with Shingle-Masters priced in the middle. Once we got past the "sticker shock" and decided to move forward, we chose Shingle-Masters because their presentation was, by far, the most professional, and their estimate was "all-inclusive", so there would be no surprises. Most of the other estimates were going to charge extra for each sheet of plywood underlayment, etc, meaning the "completed" price could end up costing considerably more than the "estimated" price. Also, they are a GAF "Master Elite" contractor which allows them to offer GAF's "Golden Pledge" warranty, which covers not only material, but workmanship, so if the contractor goes out of business, GAF will cover the cost of materials and labor. We felt most comfortable with dealing with Ed and Brock. The crew came out on the scheduled date and time, and they did an excellent job. They did exactly what they said they would do, for the price they quoted, they kept the mess to a minimum, and each day they ran a magnet around the perimeter ot the house to pick up any stray nails, etc. Bottom line, the roof came out great. We would definitely recommend them for anyone needing roofing work.
Description of Work: Complete reroof. Replaced original 19 year-old roof (1992) with new GAF Timberland shingles.

6/24/11 = Brock checked the roof and the ceiling in the home and provided est. 6/28/11 = Joe came out to work on roof, confirmed easy fix, completed work and was paid in full. 7/7/11 = Rained and leak is worse, called on Thursday night and left voicemail advising leak is worse and need call back. After waiting until approx noon on Friday I called and asked about when somebody would return. This is when I realized that paid customers now become 2nd class customers. Do not expect a return call, either from a voice mail you have left or if Dallas says she will call you back. Finally after several phone calls I was advised that they wouldn't have anybody come out until the next week, Monday. 7/11/11 = Monday morning, no-show by roof repair, was called by Joe and advised will be out the next day. 7/12/11 = Joe worked on roof again. 7/16/11 = Rained and roof leaked again, ceiling in house is looking really bad now and door stop is warped. Called Joe left VM. 7/16/11 = Called Brock and left Voice Mail concerning leak. 7/16/11 = Called Office and spoke with Mike who advise somebody will be out next week. 7/18/11 = Joe showed up and worked on roof again. 8/9/11 = First good rain in a couple of weeks, roof still leaking and ceiling looking poorly. Called Brock who advised will discuss the issue with his Dad to get to some kind of resolution. 8/10/11 = Ed and Andre showed up to repair roof.. Andre advised that heavy rains were coming in and wanted to put a quick fix and then return the next day, I agreed. The next day nobody arrived and when I called was told that Andre had found the problem and fixed it. Thus far it has not leaked and I have repaired interior damages. Now for my final words. For the most part all personnel were professional and curtious. Joe always cleaned up after he was finished working on the roof. Communications with "Dallas" was near non-existant, to a point where nobody would even answer the phone at the office. I believe this is a family run operation with good intentions, but they were not able to get the job completed in a timely manner. Only time will tell how well of a job they really did or how well they will honor they warranty (5 year) should the roof start leaking again. Bottom line is the sense of urgency by this company is gone after you have made payment in full.
Description of Work: Initial contact was made via internet after finding Shingle Masters on Angie's List. We had a roof leak on a 3 year old roof that was leaking in the master bedroom. I was assured by Brock that this was an easy fix and that they see it all the time in manufactured homes. I have delayed writing this report until I have become convinced my roof was satisfactorly repaired.

A job well done from start to finish!
Description of Work: The tile roof above one of the bedrooms developed a leak so I obtained 3 estimates from Roofers I had researched from Angie's List. I selected Shingle Masters as they appeared to be the most professional and thorough during the inspection for the estimate. They also could fix both the roof and the ceiling drywall in the bedroom. The Roofer and Drywall Person were both very pleasant and professional and did an excellent job in a timely fashion. After 2 heavy rains, I do not see any leak. I and extremely pleased with the repair work Shingle Masters has done and would strongly recommend them for any similar work. Their 5 year repair warranty is also a reassuring comfort that they stand behind their work.

The project began as promised and ended as promised by the company's representative. A supervisor made certain that all work was completed to our satisfaction. The roofing crew was skilled, diligent and polite. We are extremely pleased and would highly recommend the company. It was especially helpful to us to have a company that had access to people who could make our interior repairs and not have to try and find them ourselves as a separate process.
Description of Work: A complete new roof was installed. The company also made interior repairs yhat were caused by our leaky roof - two ceilings, replaced a section of paneling and installed a new kitchen light fixture.
