I sent an email and left a voicemail with no response. The second time I called, The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and setup an appointment in short order. There was a miscommunication so Brock came to my house at 10 for a 9 o'clock appointment. He climbed all over the house and spent half an hour reviewing the quote with me. Their quote was competitive with others we obtained, their quote is all-inclusive, and they have great warranties. We ultimately went with a different company, but only because of a great financing program.

I was most impressed by the fact that our roof was very thoroughly inspected and that he took digital pictures to show me what was going on on my roof. Work done is perfect, and you couldn't ask for nicer people to work with. The only downside is it did take nearly 5 weeks for them to schedule the work, and it was up to me to check with them on when they were coming rather than the reverse. I did have to email a couple times to get a reply or leave a phone message; again, while you may have to stay on top of them a little, the work was top notch!

They did a great job. We have had several storms since the roof was fixed and so far no more leaks.

I tried for about a month to get this company to give me an estimate. I left messages on their office phone and on a cell number that was provided. The last message I left I even commented that I had been trying to reach someone and could not get a return call from the office and hoped this worked, AND I even said if they were unable to take on my job to please let me know and I would stop calling. When I finally got a call back it was at least a week later and the lady said they just found my message. Based on good reviews, which is why I tried to hire them, I would think I could have at least received a return call. I certainly would not waste my time trying to hire them again.

I will tell anyone who will listen that Shingle Masters is the only roofer to use in Brandon. They did everything the promised and quickly. They quoated a prince and that is what we paid $7,530. The documentation they gave me helped me save $350.00 on my homeowners insurance. Thank you Angie's list you paid for yourself the very first time I used your great service.

Got quotes from 7 companies. Prices varied. Ed Beauchaine has a family owned and operated business and they worked well together on this project. The distinction of Shingle Masters was in the quote was all inclusive. NO FINE PRINT about plywood, soffit and fascia boards. The bid by Brock was fair and within the range of the reputed companies in the area. Every encounter with the staff, from estimating to viewing shingle choices to signing the contract was professional. Dumpster delivery was supervised and when the driver missed the plywood he was made to re-position it to avoid damage to the driveway. ALL the rotted wood and soffit was replace and painted. This was the only company that noticed how there would be a gap at the gables on the house with the difference in the thickness of tile to shingle. There was an offer, and inclusion of extra carpentry work to have the roof and the gable meet. The wood was in need of a new change and it was done meticulously and looks just as it ought. This company offers a 100% Peel and stick leak barrier, carrying the product all the way out to the edge of the roof. After trying for 3 years to do repairs unsuccessfully with another company, the wood damage over one portion of the garage was extensive. This was included in the quote and repaired. The workers who tore off the tile were tireless. It was stripped off as promised and cleared away even more efficiently. Venting for the attic was discussed and the most efficient heat releasing options given. There was not a stray nail or tack, tile or shingle piece left behind. The office staffer, Dallas, was available with answers and connections whenever needed. A Wind Mitigation document was provided which even lowered the homeowner's insurance. There is not one part of the process that I would change, other than find this company sooner!

This job needed to be scheduled on a specific day and only one Friday in 3 months worked for our business. Ed Beauchaine made it happen. That was a feat. From the estimate to the final inspection everything was professionally completed. The delivery of the dumpster during business hours was so well executed as to not disturb our patients. The warranties offered by this company makes it a cut above the rest. Their workmanship warranty outstripped others. Though not required by law, they only offer the 100% peel and stick leak barrier over the entire roof, not just the edges. A Wind Mitigation Verification was performed and all paperwork provided. The workers arrived as promised and completed the work in the time frame discussed. They worked continuously and in such a way that not a scrap was left behind. From the front yard to the parking lot, all debris was cleared. The recommended dimensional shingles make a huge difference on the look of the property. All boards were repaired and painted as per the contract. Because of the roof configuration and repurposed areas, venting that gave the most street appeal was utilized. Over all, this experience could not have gone better. The estimate was exact and no extra charges required. Compared to other companies who would not give a firm quote, Shingle Masters was this business owner's choice. What was quoted is what was charged.

The job from the first to the last contact was splendid! They came exactly when they said they would come for every appointment; they explained every detail of how the job would progress; the crew worked solid and hard for hours on end. They asked for NO money down, and would not take a cent from me until I did a walk through with them and saw that everything was in good order. They kept my yard and my uncovered pool clean throughout. They did amazing, professional, and meticulous work at every point. When it was all said and done, they had registered for me all warranties from suppliers, and included a extensive photo CD ROM with MANY pictures of the whole process showing the damage they uncovered, and showing how the team repaired the damaged areas fully up to code. I was blown away with just how accurate and thorough they were at every point. Simply amazing! The cost was a bit more, but that was mainly for two reasons 1) My roof had LOTS of water seepage damage I already knew was there), and the repair required over 25 sheets of decking. 2) We had them repair damage we had done to the fascia and soffit months earlier. BTW - I payed to have them go the length I thought I might need for the fascia and soffit. On the walk through, THEY noticed that the repair did not go the full length I had asked for and THEY immediately reduced that repair cost on their own. I had not even noticed it!! I was amazed at the high degree of service and professionalism! I whole-hardheartedly recommend Shingle Master!!

Unprofessional, never on time. Price was higher than others I contacted. Terrible quality - they came back 3 times and it is still not fixed properly. They changed times numerously and repair times always put off. Not professional, rude employees and asked for additional funds.

Contractor came and met home owner to ascertain requirements. Contractor provided an estimate and contract and stated that the office would call in two days to coordinate the workman starting the project. No call received from the contractor; we called the office and either had to leave voice mail or a service that passed on our questions Over a two week period we called contractor 12 times and not once received a return call. After 2 weeks on the contractor being incommunicado I left a message that said all work and agreements were null and void. 60 days later ? 11 October ? the company calls and says that they will be sending to workers out to start the project, The workers showed up and we told them, that another company completed the work over a three day period in August.

Shingle Masters Roofing & Construction was tops after researching all the top roofers in immediate Brandon Area on Angie's list. We interviewed the 3 "top" roofers; this company won out heads above the others. Their business process is excellent; Brock presented to us exactly what would be done, answered all our question; was always prompt to meet with us (called on the way to reconfirm); family owned business - father & 2 sons - displayed great pride in their work. Arrived on appointed day & time with delivery of all supplies (which had been completely described to us). Our property was protected at all times; at the end of the work day all materials & equipment was placed in safe area; workers were neat & clean in personal appearance and never seemed to take breaks. Everything was removed in a timely manner when job completed. 1 nail was found by county inspector after the work was done. During the process we met both sons and the father; they could not have been more helpful or concerned that we were satisfied. We have a beautiful, new roof which we are very satisfied with. Would not hesitate to recommend this fine company to any home owner.

Company was responsive to my needs...sent repairman out same day, Price quoted was on par with other providers I queried. Repairman was on time for appointment...worked efficiently and had my door serviceable that day...very satisfying to get a job done so quickly.

After researching Angie's List throughly we choose 3 roofing companies to interview (staying in the greater Brandon area). Of the 3 we interviewed, we choose Shingle Masters Roofing & Construction Services, Inc. Brock Beauchaine's presentation was the most complete; their business process excelllent. He was always on time (calling to let us know he was on the way); answered questions, returned phone calls - even coming back to discuss our additional questions face-to-face before we signed contract. Workman arrived on time each AM; carefully protected our property; cleaned up each evening before leaving; all equipment very professional, well cared for. Enough workers to get the work done in timely manner and they presented themselves properly dressed for work. Day after work completed, Brock's brother came to make sure all was cleared away. County Inspector here this AM. This is a family owned busines, father & 2 sons, who show much pride in their business and want to make sure a good job is done. I feel we could not have done better in the greater Brandon area; perhaps in all of the greater Tampa area. We have yet to do a finial Walk Through (when they get their check) but I believe everything is just right.

They came out, gave us a clout, and did the job fast. We like their service and we did not have any problem.

Contract included: "Removal of solar panel, shingles, flat roof, nails., attic fans, eaves drip & all damaged roof decking. Make all decking, soffitt, sub-fascia, rafter and flashing repairs (all repairs included)" which was done to my complete satisfaction. Installed ridge vents. Peel and stick leak barrier, eaves drips, lead boots w/squirrel guards (painted to match), new shingles and a section of flat roof. A very through cleanup of the whole area on both days A mitigation inspection and Unification Mitigation form was included. Form and support photos on cd were delivered right after the job was completed Ed and Mike did exactly what they said they would do. Appointments were kept on time. Construction crews arrived as scheduled, worked hard for 2 full days, which included significant decking repair. Everyone was cordial and delight to do business with. I highly recommend Ed, Mike and Shingle Masters for any roofing or contracting needs

They were one of the few companies that could come out promptly to give an estimate on work that had to be done before my closing and during the wet season. They also did a great job of squeezing me into their schedule to meet the closing deadline. My one slight issue was that the work did not look all that neat from the ground level, but overall I was very pleased with the experience of working with them.

Roof was done in a timely and professional manner. Shingle Masters did all the extras that no other roofer offered including plywood sheets that other roofers wanted to charge an arm and leg for. They did light tree trimming and even cleaned the gutters. We were very impressed with their workmanship!

I never heard back from the company again. I called the estimator at least 3 times between June 13th and June 25th and emailed him once or twice. I was traveling during much of that time so I wasn't even sure if the work had been done already. No response. I called the office several times in mid to late June as well. In each call, I explained that I was trying to find out what was going on. No response. I finally caught someone in the office late on June 25th and the woman said that they might be able to schedule me in a few weeks and that they've been busy due to the rains. They never returned any of my 6+ calls or a few emails between the estimator's visit and June 25th. I understand that it was raining and that things were busy but this is really unacceptable and such a waste of time for the estimator to spend the time on the quotation if they didn't want or need the work. Had they called once to say that they were 3-4 weeks behind schedule I might very well have used them instead of finding another contractor.

Our initial contact was Brock, and he was thorough and patient, keeping us informed of all the details and answering whatever questions came up (and there were many). When he said he'd get back to us, he did, and promptly. The same can be said of the rest of the staff as well. He never left us hanging and never acted like he was in a hurry to get to something else. He always took the time necessary. He was even patient and thorough during the walk through/inspection, which required walking around the house during a particularly rainy period of the summer when our lawn was basically a bog.

All went well with the repair. The vent fan is cooling my attic, and the cooler attic saves on the electric bill.

I was impressed with professionalism and in-depth details presented in person. I liked the idea of using insulation to add some pitch to one flat section of roof and that was included in estimate. I didn't choose this company primarily due to price. I had 2 other estimates that were lower in price and chose one of those which was more than $3000. less than Shingle Masters. As a landlord, I have to aggressively control costs and the extra $3K was not in the budget.

they were reliable and prompt. they cleaned up after work every day. I was so pleased with them.

I contacted Shingle Masters to get an estimate for roof repair. A man came to my house on 22 May and said he would email an estimate to me within 2 days. I did not receive anything so on the 30th I called and the person I spoke to said they would get the estimate to me ASAP. Again nothing, so I called back on the 6th of June and again I was told she would get the gentleman who came to my house to send the estimate and yet again I received nothing. On the 13th of June I called one last time same result...guess I'm a slow learner, they clearly aren't interested in doing the job. I would not call this company to get a roof repair.

Totally professional! I called 4 companies to come out, Shingle Masters was the only company on time. Shingle Masters spent more time on the roof examining and measuring than the other 3 companies. With that said, Shingle Masters gave me a quote, not an estimate. The other companies said I would be paying an extra $50 per board for any bad wood, which would have cost me another $400, as Shingle Masters replaced 8 boards (No hidden extra fees). Of all the pricing I received, Shingle Masters was the lowest by $300. All other companies' pricing was roof replacement only. Not only did I get a roof replacement, Shingle Masters also added additional ridge vents, sprayed attic with insulation and removed and replaced the gutters. As far as the actual work performed, also professional and done in 2 days, while dodging the rain. The crew consistently kept an eye on the weather and placed tarps as needed on all exposed areas not yet protected when the rain came. Additionally, tarps were placed around the perimeter of the house to prevent debris from accumulating in my yard and gardens. Final cleanup was outstanding. Since the job completed, I may have found 2 nails and 2 small pieces of the bad wood. Finally, they kept me appraised of the schedule of work and deliveries of materials. On final walk through, I received pictures and paperwork for wind mitigation, which gives you added savings on your home owner insurance. I see why Shingle Masters has been voted best in Brandon for the last few years. I recommend to anyone needing a new roof, excellent!

Everything was GREAT!! I hired them to not only put the roof on but to also put new vents,blown in insulation and peel and stick the entire roof.They did an excellant job and treated my house with resepct . I was very happy at the job they accolmpished VERY proffsional and great with people and very knolegable with the job at hand.
