Great. They did very good work and the price was fair since they had to drive very far. I would definitely hire them again if I need any tile work done.

Rodrigo and his father both came to do the quote since they work together and it is important to them that potential customers meet both of the people who will be in the house. Once demolition started, they provided each member of our family with masks to avoid any dust/potential mold (they knew we had moisture issues). Our foundation was too damp to install tile immediately, but rather than be upset about having to rearrange jobs or not work a few days, Rodrigo was understanding and concerned about our ability to remediate any mold issues. Luckily, he had a few small jobs he could do while our floor dried--I would have felt really bad if we were the cause of them being out of work. Once the tile was ready to be installed, Rodrigo and his father did the main traffic areas first, so as to disrupt my family as little as possible. Same with grouting, and clearly taped off areas that were not to be walked on. The previous owner glued the baseboard on, so despite his best egg not to damage it during removal, we ended up needing new baseboard, which Rodrigo painted, but and installed also. The fellows took care to keep the mess down during demo, and always cleaned up at the end of each work day. The floor looks fantastic, and we are very happy! As the mother of girls, I am wary of having men in the house, but Rodrigo and his father were so professional, personable, and just downright decent fellows that I never felt a moment of worry. Thanks again, guys!

He was the first contractor (and we called several) that responded quickly AND showed up when they said they would, finished when they said they would. I found them methodical and thorough. The end result was absolutely better than I even imagined. Their work was detailed and I am so glad we found them. Definitely would recommend them again.

Roberto and Rodrigo were the best part of my bathroom remodel experience. Their expertise in tile installation made me confident that they were able to execute what we had envisioned. From day 1, they went above an beyond. From providing a list of all the materials needed, to framing a special shower seat and the larger niche, RK Marble Tile didn't hesitate to accommodate what we wanted. They were punctual, responsive, and ensured that they cleaned up the work area at the end of every day.

We recommend this son and father team without reservation. They came over to give a quote on the same day that we requested it. They spent extra time discussing the different options and adding much appreciated advice on how to approach the job. They were very responsive to calls and texts during the job. They treated our home like it was their own. It was a multiple day job and they left the room very clean at the end of each day. The quality of work was remarkable. The kitchen looks better than we could have possibly imagined, in most part because of the tile work that they performed for us. We have hired them in the past and will contract them for any and all work that we need in the future. Quite possibly the best experience we have ever had with a small business.

Rodrigo and his father were always prompt, from day one when they came to give me an estimate throughout the installation. They were polite, respectful of home, very friendly-yet professional. The workmanship was superb....they didn't rush, paid attention to detail. Throughout installation, he would ask me questions rather than continue to complete job in a rush. Father and son team are professional and job looks perfectly straight and level. Had to fix about 120 feet of cracks in the slab and about 5 bags of leveling compound. Highly recommended. Base price was $3.25 square foot for installation plus crack fix and leveling. Customer supplied thin set, grout and tile. All said and done job was about $7.30 square foot for a 720 square foot job. The cracks and leveling were about $1.00 a square but totally unavoidable.

The guy's were on time, clean, efficient, and informative. Everyday at the end of the day they would go over what was done and what needed to be done. They were here a week everyday the laid down tarps to walk on they took all the trash with them. The niche I purchased did not fit they made one for me!!! These guys will be back to do a floor for me in my dinning room later in the year. I highly recommend!!!

Entire project was fantastic. This father / son team is top notch. Rodrigo (son) was extremely professional in his communications. Always very responsive, provided a detailed professional quote, and he and his father did exactly what we agreed upon and met all my expectations and beyond. Roberto and Rodrigo did an excellent job removing tile and rebuilding the shower. They are hard-working, professional, and highly skilled. They did a fantastic job rebuilding the shower. We are totally pleased with their work and highly recommend this father/son team.

Wonderful! This extremely professional father and son team renovated my bathroom with new marble mosaic floor tile and new ceramic in my large shower. Am hiring them again to replace another bathroom floor. Meticulous work and extremely responsive. They arrive on time and respond to calls promptly. Everything went perfectly. They explained the prep work that may need to be done since there were cracks in original tile (evening out the floors, applying a membrane etc.)They were knowledgeable, hard working, respective of my house which is very busy with kids and dogs, well priced and efficient. I will use them again for tile work and would recommend them to anyone.

Anybody who reads this review should know that I found a professional who takes pride in the work they do and in the business they run. I first contacted Rodrigo on a Sunday and within 2 hours he and his dad Roberto were at my house to give me a free quote. As other reviews state, there was no subbing out of work and this father/son team did it all. They gave opinions when asked for and explained that they would do the work and only collect payment upon completion of the project. Communication is critical for me and Rodrigo never let me down. Whether he was doing an email follow up as he said he would or plain old just answering his phone. He stayed the professional that you could actually communicate with. The times given by Rodrigo for the job starting and The quality and care that they both put into the job was outstanding. I love the finished product and company. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to any family member or friend.

I could not be more pleased with the service provided by RK Marble/Tile. From the time we first spoke on the phone to arrange an estimate to the moment the work was completed this father-son team provided excellent customer service and master craftsmanship. They were prompt, efficient, professional, and considerate. The work they did was of exceptionally high quality- cuts, corners, leveling all as close to perfect as I have ever seen in tile work- quality like one would expect to find in a million dollar home. The cost was on the high side of average (I got other estimates) but I was happy to pay the extra as when I met them I had a strong sense that they would do good work. I am glad I did as I am more than pleased and recommend them highly for not only their high quality work but also their fantastic customer service.

Rodrigo came to my home at a convenient time for me and gave me a free estimate. He was very responsive, via email, when I had an questions and he and his dad did a nice job with the actual work. I really liked that it is a true family business.

Where do I begin? I feel like I struck gold by discovering this company on Angie's list. I am so pleased with the outcome of our project and the work of this father-son team. They were extremely responsive to all of my communication by phone, email, and text, and the workmanship is excellent. The quote for the project was extremely reasonable especially given the level of care dedicated to us. Everything was explained to me in advance and I was kept informed during the entire progress of the project. Best of all, they do all the work themselves and do not subcontract. The work was done on time (even despite our floors needing additional leveling) and far exceeded my expectations. They were able to level our uneven floors in an addition on our home and the tile is laid beautifully. Their work gave us an entirely different functional space. I have a lot more work to do on my home and will be calling RK Marble Tile Inc. to do it. Businesses just don't operate like this anymore and when you find one you stick with them!

I had the fortunate opportunity to use RK Marble Tile, Inc to renovate a bath (tub removed and shower extended). Overall Experience ? Excellent. Exceptionally professional. Well versed and knowledge on tile. Provided all options available. They were able to vision what I wanted and provided excellent suggestions. Their estimation of equipment was perfect with no wasted material. The cost was well below other estimate, and the final job was comparable if not better than those I seen on assorted web sites. Craftsmanship- Demolition of old shower- RK Marble Tile, Inc staff arrived as scheduled and on time. Demolition of old shower tile was conducted expeditiously; entire area was cleaned and all debris was removed. Excellent job!!! Tile Installation- Arrived on time each day. Was kept updated on progress. Finished product was better than what I envisioned/expected. Shower glass installer commented that he had never seen a tile job as mine where the area was perfectly leveled in all areas. He gave kudos to the tile installer, RK Marble Tile, Inc. Rodrigo and his father were very responsive, professional and thorough. They showed up exactly when they said they would and went to work. They did not hesitate when they showed up and we had purchased a different material than we had previously discussed. Their skills are outstanding - I wish we had used them for all of our previous tile work. The finish work is perfection and when they were done they cleaned up inside and out - even mopping our floor in the work area before they left.

When the work was completed I was thrilled, they are very detailed oriented and made sure everything was completed beautifully. I was over the moon,when I saw the results. Rodrigo and Roberto are a father and son family business, who are proud of their profession and stand behind the quality of their work. We initially picked poor quality tile at Floor & Decor, it was difficult to cut and was falling off the mesh too easily. Rodrigo immediately pointed out that we might not be satisfied with the result because of poor tile quality and advised to postpone the installation until we get better tile. We returned the tile to the store and got high quality travertine tile with good mesh adhesion. Rodrigo rescheduled my install to the next available date. Installation was done very professionally, they covered the floor and all working surfaces, kept the kitchen clean by doing all cuts outside, cleaned up after the work was done. Installation was perfect, the backsplash looks great, all the grouting is neat and clean. I highly recommend RK team for your next tiling project.

This contractor has done a few jobs for me now on my home and a couple rental properties. They are professional from start to finish and they do quality work at a competitive price. I would highly recommend this company for any tile project.
