Mark and John arrived on time as promised and worked two days on the projects.

It started off with well started the job, it took along time for an outlet to be put in.. Then we started on a window sill we thought the wood was rotting out but wasn't so we replaced it anyways ... Then was gonna start on building two walls to divide a great room .. He started it and took forever came back 2 hours complaining about the project which for a handy man contractor should of been easy but his boss called and said it was too much for him.. I said we'll according to your post it meet the guide lines and that I told him about the job in the initial contact when setting up the two days we agreed upon. He was not the most personable person to begin with or work with. I felt like I was a bother even tho I just spent 600.00 on the service. They never showed up for day 2 and phone calls were not returned. I had other projects that needed to be done and was in their frame of work. And nothing returned so I am out 450.00 due to their scope. So in my world that's a day in a half still owed but nothing.. So I lost out.

This company knows there stuff!! I had them remodel my master bath and they created a bathroom you could put on a magazine cover. The installers came always on time and were respectful of me and my home. I am so proud of this room it is the first place i bring family and friend. I am going to have them do my guest bath as well.

They were prompt and the work was excellent. They arrived on time every day and worked all day. There were no skipped days and no "juggling" two jobs. The tile work on the new shower is beautiful. The additional work done in the bathroom is also gorgeous.

Called them because they were on Angie's list. The man I talked to said he was in his truck traveling. He sounded put off that I had called him. I explained that I needed a lanai remodel and full enclosure and that he had my number and could call me back when he had time to talk. He never called back.

Mark came out almost immediately after I called him to give us an estimate, and began the job in two days. He also gave us an exact list of what we needed to buy. He and John were very prompt every day, working nonstop until they were finished. They are both very skilled and knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating. I will definitely called them back when we are ready to remodel our kitchen!

Last year I purchased an Angie's List deal, ended up getting a refund due to the fact he didn't work evenings or weekends. This year reached out to him again to get a quote on a bathroom remodel since I'm currently home during the week. Spoke with him directly - he said he would call back to set up a time for an estimate over a week ago. Never heard from him again.

I called for an estimate for a complete remodel of my master bathroom. Canelli took three days to return my call. When they did return my call we scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday, no show (apparently it was a 12 hour Flu....uh yup) They returned my call on Monday morning and scheduled another appointment for 9 AM the following day, again no show. When I called to find out what was happening at least he was honest enough to say that he forgot. Obviously I wont be working with these folks. Please understand that I am not a crank and would never issue a bad review unless it warranted. My advice.......forget about Canelli Remodeling.

Mark came out twice to discuss my bathroom project. We agreed on a date to begin. When the time came around, I had a family emergency and needed to leave town. A family member was now in charge of working witrh Mark and his crew on my remodleed bathroom. Mark was a trooper and worked through this challenge with us. He communicated each day and discussed next steps so that we were all on the same page. I found him to be very reliable, knowldgeable and helpful. The new bathroom looks amazing. Quality work! I highly recommend this company.

Mark was very prompt getting back to me to set up an appointment for estimate. He came out and gave the estimate, which I felt was very fair. He showed up when he said he would. He was very professional and easy to work with. I would use him again.

This is a very professional company. The owner showed up on time with his contractor. We went over the work together. Then the next thing I knew, everything was done above and beyond what I had asked for. I bought two coupons and got two days to do this whole job. I could not be more pleased with the work and the people. I will definitely call Canelli again if I need anything done. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL SERVICE!

This deal work out great. I had them do interior painting. This was much cheaper than hiring an actual painting company. Great job!

BUYER BEWARE if you hire a company by the hour instead of by the job. I purchased a "Big Deal" for a general contractor for an 8 hour day. I have over 30 yrs. experience working with sub-contractors and knew that the small stucco job I had would take an experienced person about 4 hrs. to complete. John, the man that was sent to do the job, was on the premises a total of 6 1/2 hrs. He spent more time smoking than working and did not complete the job by the end of the day. John told me that Mark Canelli, the owner of the company, doesn't like the Big Deals because he loses money and then he has to pay Angie's List another 30% on top of that. It was obvious that the owner was trying to get a second day out of this job to make up for the discount offered on the Big Deal. With so much time wasted and corners cut on the job, I was shocked by John's demand for more money the next day. John didn't even replace the rusted lath. He put the stucco mud right over the existing lath in two of the three places he repaired. There were two other sub-contractors working here and they saw the job that John was doing. They asked me where they could get a job doing nothing all day. I called Mark, the owner, to request he come and look at John's work, but he declined. I certainly would not use this company again.

I'd purchased the handyman for a day (8hrs) deal for 299.00 and had requested a certain time frame for the work to be done as I was only in town for 5 days. They were extremely accomidating and the handyman arrived as scheduled on ready to tackle my list of items. They were very neat and proffessional with each project and I am very satisfied with the work that was completed for the price, he even requested additional work to insure that I received my 8hrs of services. Overallit was a positive experience and I would hire again.

I contacted Canelli Remodeling to get an estimate on an addition to my house. I originally contacted him in response to the Angie's List Big Deal. My first call was not returned, I called a second time and I did get a return call. I told Mr. Canelli about the job I wanted to have done and he told me that it would require much more time than the Big Deal covered but he could still give me an estimate for the work. He was working on another job in the area and could come by the next day. I have yet to get a return call much less an estimate. I won't be doing business with this company ever.

Over all the experience was goo, the workmanship professional and finished. They cleaned up during and after the project and I am very pleased with the work done. The ceiling on the back porch looks better now than it was in the very begining, soneone had used drywall outside. Mark even helped me in the decision process for what to use on the ceiling. The workmanship was so good that I asked for an estimate to paint the exterior of my house. Very Please indeed. tesart1

I have a few investment properties and I used this company to do the renovation work .

We decided to renovate our bathroom as inexpensively as possible. We left the tub and tile around the tub. We did most of the demolition. As there was tile on the walls, we removed the tile and drywall. Mark looked after replacing the drywall, the bullnose around the tub area and did the plumbing for a new vanity and toilet. There was also a light that had to be relocated. We were pleased with the end product.

Mark and his crew did a FANTASTIC! job. I would highly recommend them and I plan to use this company again in the future.

great communication to set up appointment and worker [john] was on-time and ready to go.. put in extra time till the job was finished without hesitation. overall great job with my doors and moldings. AAAAA+++++

He did everything he was supposed to and i'd be willing to use his services another time.

Although it took 13 hours to complete this job, I will say that the tile and grout does look very nice.

I wish I could give a better review for this company, because they are very nice, but the work was not great. John was supposed to be there at 9:00 a.m., but arrived at 10:30--he couldn't find the house. He cut the opening in the ceiling for the ladder, and it seemed ok, but he needed to wait for his boss to finish putting in the ladder, because it took two men. So he started putting in the closet system from Home Depot in the master closet. He had to take the directions to lunch with him to figure it out. He did not have a stud-finder with him, so he knocked on the walls to find them. He didn't seem to know how to install it-had to patch up holes made in error. He finally finished about 4:30, it really wasn't what it was pictured on the box, and is not working out well for me. His boss arrived and they finished installing the ladder. John went into the other bedroom to install more shelves, but said the drywall was soft, and he didn't have proper screws to secure it. By then it was 6:30-7:00, and they were finished for the day. I don't think I got done what they said they were going to do. I now have to pay someone to come in and install the remaining shelves. The ladder seems to be installed correctly, but does not have the wood frame around it. They were very nice and polite, but there was no clean-up-sawdust and screws, etc. laying around. Sorry I could not give a better review, but I was not really satisfied.
