I found Canelli Remodeling on Angie's List. I had 3 other contractors out to give quotes, they were all priced competitively. What appealed to me most from the start was their willingness to do whatever I wanted to get done.(I was planning to have a custom cabinet builder ship cabinets from the northeast, and Mark was more than willing to install that for me. I didn't receive the same response from several other contractors, most wanted to only install what they sold. We didn't end up doing that but his willingness to do the install was what made me go with him.) This was a long project, around 8 weeks! It went great! They are a great group of guys. They were professional, arrived EVERYDAY as they said they would, no days wondering if someone was coming today, or what time. They were very thoughtful of how hard it was to live in the house while everything was torn up, and were very helpful in meeting special request...( I needed 1 room completed before everything else to move a pool table, they were quick to re-hook up washer and dryer so I could do laundry, I wanted a swinging door to my new storage room - they made it all happen, and many other things like that, that were very helpful.) Some things I liked best about this company: The guys that came into my home everyday were awesome, they were very friendly, spoke English, and were the same guys from start to finish. This would have been miserable if they were not such nice guys. They were great about informing me what was to be done next, and even when I added changes from the original contract, they handled it well, and did what I asked for (for extra charges). They answered all my questions, and helped me figure out what would work best in several situations. I really liked that I didn't have a huge dumpster in front of my house for the entire time! They brought a trailer and removed it when full and brought it back as needed. They did great work! The cabinet crew I hired separately said it was one of the best refinished ceilings they had seen. Previous wall damage was fixed, and even matched popcorn in my Master bath after removing the box lighting. The painting looks great! The tile looks fantastic. I bought very unusual sinks and tile, and they did a great job installing all of that. And my Copper Hood (my personal favorite new thing in my kitchen) was shipped in from Texas - they installed it perfectly! They worked well the cabinet guys. Coordinated my granite installation. (I used their suggested granite store, Classic Granite - I was very happy with that decision) I wish I had.. I wish I had Mark do the measuring for floor tile, I was pretty confident I had it right, and we had a bit of trouble with the amount ordered. I already have a tentative reserved spot for February- to redo an extra bathroom and tile 2 more bedrooms. They are worth the wait! I would highly recommend them. They are hard workers, and are proud of their work, and really want to do a great job. I've lived in this house (waited) 17 years wanting to do the remodeling that Canelli and his crew did for me. I'm so happy with the final results! I feel like I'm in a new house! I keep going in there and just stare at all the new great looking stuff! Cant believe its mine. It was a lot of work, and difficult to live here while happening, but I'm so glad we chose them to do it.

I purchased their bathroom remodeling coupon deal on Angies List. A day or two after making the purchase, they informed me that they are not taking new clients and would not honor the deal. They continue to leave the deal on Angies List, but have no intentions of honoring it.

Had hoped to do a small bathroom remodel, but unfortunately ran into schedule availability issues. Business was prompt in letting me know and the deal was refunded quickly. Will definitely consider contacting again in the future.

I couldn't be more pleased on how my kitchen remodel turn out. Mark and his crew especially Kendall were here every day on time and worked a full day every day. Mark and his crew are extremely professional and polite, even though I know I drove them crazy at times with all my questions. His responsiveness was excellent and the job was done within the timeline he gave me. I'm hoping that Mark can remodel my bathroom next.

Mark and his two man crew, Jaime and Kendall worked for nine days, 8:30 to 4:30. They did everything: demo, tile work, install tub enclosure, cabinetry, sinks, faucets, and painting. The work was excellent and neatly done. Very professional, meticulous and careful to meet my expectations. A smooth and painless process at a fair price. I recommend them unreservedly.

Mark Canelli, and his team, Kendall & Jaime were fun to work with it. They were punctual, respectful and very considerate. They always cleaned up after themselves and kept things neat during the almost 2 month-long project. Mark was very flexible and did everything as per our request. He also suggested trustworthy vendors that sold a good product. We did a total demolition of the master bathroom and the kitchen, and some minor changes to the other bathrooms & laundry room. The bathroom & kitchen look fantastic and Mark even came after the entire project was done to make sure we were 100% satisfied. They exceeded our expectations and went above & beyond to ensure we would be happy in the end. I would gladly recommend Canelli Remodeling to anyone who is considering a home improvement project.

Mark and his crew were excellent. We are very happy with the work provided and I love my new kitchen! They always showed up on time and consistently worked for 8-9 hours every day until the job was completed. While waiting for my granite to be cut and installed, a temporary counter and sink was set up for me. Any problems which appeared were addressed and fixed right away. Thanks for a great job!

We hired Mark Canelli following a search for a general contractor for a full gut and remodel of a master bedroom, bath and closet. We relied on the reviews and photo?s on Angie's List as we were out of state at the time of our inquiry. Mark responded promptly and professionally. We appreciated his understanding of our circumstances and willingness to schedule us for a start date based on our anticipated arrival some months later. Mark and his crew were prompt, professional, and considerate. They cheerfully performed tasks over and above what was called for. The site was kept clean and tidy as reasonably possible. When the inevitable problems and surprises arose, Mark and his foreman offered creative ideas and solutions which resulted in satisfaction for all. We especially appreciated their knowledge of the various trades. All too often we have found contractors will say ?ok? to something with no experience in what they are doing! We want to give Canelli Remodeling the highest rating and definitely look forward to using them for future projects.

They were going to adjust the door that had a gap in it. They got it squared up, but since then it has developed a gap again. They did the best that they could. They were on time and that was important to me.

,They showed up on time and put in a full day's work everyday. It was completed on time and on budget. - faster than expected, very important since we had no kitchen during the reno. They completed everything before the countertop went in in 7 days, and finished the rest 2 days after the counter was in. There was super attention to detail. They came back mid project to see if the current plumbing placement would work with the new sink, and fixed it when it wasn't. I was concerned about the backsplash tile layout (after having problems with a previous contractor). Mark's worker worked with me laying out all the tiles before starting, and then consulted several times when there were choices on how to align the tiles. They worked cleanly. They were very pleasant and cooperative. I would definitely use them again.

Work was done on time and as advertised. Quality was good and they kept us informed and updated on status with pictures. We are out of state so this was crucial. We've had bad experiences with other contractors in the area so we were happy to find Canelli. We would highly recommend them.

After he came out, we found that he does not offer the type of services that we were needing. He advised us to request a refund. He was professional and punctual.

Excellently. The work was done quickly and Mark communicated well. There were up to three people working and the job was finished in less than two weeks. When we pointed out some small issues at the end of the job, they were corrected with only one additional visit. We are very happy with the work we had done and we would absolutely use Mark again.

It was good. They were on time. One person came out. He did a really good job. He cleaned up when he was finished.

All commitments met, his team was friendly, polite pleasant. This team was here everyday full days. Had a problem with Lowes and a small cabinet. Weeks after the job was complete they came back to assist. Couldn't have asked for more.

I can't rave enough about Marks professionalism and work ethic. He was very responsive and timely in all facets of the work. I totally and completely trusted leaving him a key to enter my home while I was at work. He was always on time and finished the job in a timely manner. I will definitely be using Mark for future renovations. I had a kitchen drawer break and, due to the age of the home, was having a difficult time finding the right plastic piece to be able to fix it. Mark looked at it and said," I think I have one of those at home." Not wanting to get my hopes up after desperately looking for months, the next day I come home to a bag of them left on my countertop! Within minutes, my drawer was fixed and I was ecstatic. Don't let Marks quietness throw you off; he is soft spoken and listening to everything you are saying, taking it all in so he can provide you the best service. I cannot imagine that anyone would not be 100% pleased with Marks work. If he happens to get a less than perfect review, my guess is that there is more to the story. He is awesome and I just hope he keeps finding the time to fit me in for odd jobs before my next major renovation, which will be the master bedroom and bath.

It went great. Mark Canelli sent Mark over to do the work. Mark was great! Showed up every day (5 days) on time and was very prideful in his work. Mark would come over occasionally to see how things were going. Over all I was very pleased with the work performed. Definitely a professional organization with fair prices!

I wrote a review for you on Canelli a year ago, right after the work was done and gave details. It went well.

They were very friendly, but could not perform the work I wanted under the Big Deal. I wanted some posts removed and replaced with drywall, but they said that I would need to bring in an engineer that would cost thousands of dollars because these posts were supporting the structure.

I had originally purchased a bathroom remodel Big Deal that didn't work out time wise through no fault of the contractor or myself. Angie's List refunded my purchase amount and suggested I take advantage of the Big Deal being offered by Canelli Remodeling. The deal included 40 hours of labor toward any contracting project. The initial cost was $2400 plus the cost of materials which were purchased by the contractor to complete the project. From start to finish--Mark (the owner and contractor), was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt, listening to all my project plans, (way more than 40 hours worth!) and left me feeling as if I could just relax and leave it up to him to make it turn out the way I wanted. All we laymen want is to feel confident that our vision of the project has been understood and taken on by a competent craftsman who shows that he or she values the quality of their work and their reputation! This is exactly what you will get if you decide to use Canelli Remodeling for your construction projects.! Mark did a fantastic job tiling my bathroom and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience! I plan to call him back to work on some of the other projects I need done and am relieved to have found a contractor I can rely on to do quality work in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Not responsive. Disinterested in performing work already paid for. Provided list of priority and non-proirity work, asking what would be doable within 1 day. Only answer was that he is not certified to do electrical work (could not install attic fan). No response on the other 7 items. Latest email asked if he could come out after a particular date. 1 month later, he responded that he was too busy to do anything until September.

It all went very smoothly. When removing the old tile they discovered damage to a support beam and were able to easily add the repair of this to the overall job. John, who did the majority of the work was calm, friendly and careful to replace the screens of my under-the-house crawl space to ensure that no critters would visit uninvited.

he never responded to first phone call or text. FInally responded weeks later and I sent info he asked for and never heard from him again. Got a refund.
