My entire experience with David Spence Inc. has been nothing short of fantastic. Christie is prompt in returning phone calls & answering any questions regarding the services provided. She also schedules appointments in a prompt & timely manner. I have used them for several projects In my home &have been more than satisfied each every time. You can expect punctual & professional service from start to finish!

Matt. the electrician was very friendly, professional, displayed a man of character. He did all that he promised to do, was punctual and worked neatly. I was very happy to work with him and will recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Emailed DSI with description of services needed, my phone number, and my address. Now two weeks later, still no response from DSI??? I would not consider hiring this company or recommned them to anyone. Makes me wonder how they got their high scores?

He did an amazing and thorough job. He has a great personality and professional. Would definitely recommend them to others and for any additional electrical needs.

Matt was punctual, professional, and personable. He did an amazingly thorough job and set my mind at rest about some of my concerns while informing me of issues which might be problematic, stating clearly the problem, the solution, and the cost. I was very impressed and will certainly turn to Matt when I am ready to have the work done.

It went really well! The father David, came over, looked at it and gave an estimate. He had his some son over this week and fix it. It took a couple days, and he was really good at it. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family members.

Though I haven't signed a contract with DSI yet, it's more than likely I'll go with this company within the next few days. They're punctual and the owner and support staff provide friendly service. I've dealt with several companies so far and this is the best I've found yet.

The woman who took my call was very polite and asked several questions. She then advised she would need to speak with David but someone would get back to me by the end of the day. I received a call two days later advising they do no do condos.

It went very good, however there other electrical services are a bit too expensive in comparison with the competition.

The finished repair was identical to the other parts of the frame. Juan did an excellent job and was very responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend this company for repair work.

Not good. I read reviews and I got the impression that DSI was not the cheapest but was good. I sent message and got a call back. When I was asked if I had a budget, I said yes and when I would not say how much I was advised that most bathroom remodels are 20,000 and kitchen remodels over 25000 because "we use real wood cabinets and quartz counters". I am not sure how you can give me an "estimate/average" on a bathroom when you don't even know what I want and much less the size of the bathroom and the work entailed. Because "real wood" is used does not constitute a 20,000 dollar expense. With that said I said thanks but no thanks. Don't want to waist your time much less mine. If that is how vetting a customer is accomplished, you just lost a potential customer because if your price had been fair/maybe a little high but understanding that good work would be done, hassle free that would be worth the price.

After setting up the initial appointment, I got a call from DSI prior to the appointment requesting to reschedule due to an emergency, and was able to do so without problem. Service person was just a tad late in arriving on the rescheduled day/time, and since I hadn't received a call, I called the main office, where the recording said the office would be closed for the next two days. Just a little nervous after that, but the service person showed up just a few minutes later, so no big deal. He diagnosed that the bulbs were burnt out in my existing fan and replaced them easily at no charge. He then went to work and deftly installed the new ceiling fan in the guest bedroom with great speed. It looked and worked great! And the service person was gracious, knowledgeable, and took his time to explain the fan control and some of the options I could have if I changed to different bulbs, etc. Awesome and very friendly workman. Highly recommend.

The service and response was topnotch from both the scheduler and the electrician Matt. ?We had never used DSI before and relied on the Angie List grade and reviews. ?We will certainly use DSI again when the need arises.

The team is amazing from start to finish. Dave came out assets the job and gave great feed back on what would work best with the space we had. He checked in throughout the job to make sure everything was on track, he kept me informed and was always available for any question or concerns I had along the way. The job was quoted to take three weeks we did go a day over three weeks due to the sink I picked out. Kristy was very prompt in sending me a quote back and answered any question I had before we started the project. She kept me in the loop on who was come over for the day and when they would be there. I was able to work with Kristy to pick out the fixtures that I had envisioned for this bathroom. Sean and Ched did an amazing job with all the small tiles that I had picked out. The electrician Matt was punctual, he did a great job installing the bathroom lighting and exhaust fan. Before leaving each day they cleanup any debris, asked if I had any question and looked over the progress together. I will be recommending Dave and team to my friends and family. And plan on calling them back for our next project.

Called to get a quotation they said that to tile the bottom of a shower (only)and the top of a small area around a tub would be $9000 to $12000 that is without seeing the job. They quoted me a month and a half to have anyone come out and look at the job.

The provider was knowledgeable and personable. He performed the work in a reasonable amount of time. I was a little disappointed that he didn't have a beige dimmer switch. Also, I was left with a bit of a mess. I got the impression the he prefers to work on homes that aren't yet occupied.

Our neighbors on Swann used DSI after the August flash flooding hit our area. I jogged by every day to observe the process and the progress. After several months I asked them if there had been any reccurance of their waster problems and they had the biggest grins on their faces when they happily said "NO!" We live in a lower area not far from the bay and have always had problems with water coming under the floor in our lower than grade living room (despite three unsuccessful contracting efforts to fix the problem). I called Mr Spence to set up an appointment and he was right on time the day of. He spent a considerable amount of time walking the area with me, educating me on the Hydro Stop application process and identifying other areas that needed refurbishing. Upon receipt of the estimate the next day I immediately hired DSI. To begin, the DSI crew arrived every day promptly at 8 am. They were courteous, quiet, respectful and they worked continuously throughout the day. They wiped their feet every time they walked on our newly installed pool pavers and they did not allow any debris whatsoever to hit the pool. They did NOT block the driveway or in any way impede our family's rather hectic lifestyle. They cleaned up every day and covered all loose dirt with tarps. The first day they dug a trench around 3/4 of the house, down to the footer. This was complicated by roots, catch basins, cable wires and poorly placed pipes. Nevertheless they completed their task. Day 2 was spent cleaning the affected area (previous contractors had used roofing sealant in some areas) and prepping first installation of the Hydro Stop slurry. The morning of the third day we had surprise thunderstorms and I was worrying about the effect the rain would have on the previous day's work when the DSI truck pulled up and the guys immediately set to work to cover affected areas. In addition, as the rain increased they stayed outside in the thunderstorm to dig a 4 foot diversionary hole for water accumulation. The remainder of the time was spent on the completion of the first slurry, installation of the membrane (a meticulous and time consuming process), the second slurry coat and installation of block in the back. Because of the rain delay they came back on Saturday to complete the job. Throughout the entire process David Spence inspected, reinspected and re reinspected the application of the Barrier Guard. I cannot express just how delighted I am with this whole process. Mr Spence is not only an expert on hydrostatic pressure, but as my wife said, "is a man who lives his faith". I give DSI my strongest referral. This is a company, guided by its owner, that provides excellent service and product and has caring individuals who treat their clients as they would their own families. He will be back next year to do our windows.

I'm very impressed! He keeps me updated and I have no complaints.

It was fine. It was good. My neighbor is needing a new panel. So I thought I would recommend that they check it out.

I needed assistance updating some electrical issues that turned up during inspection on an older home I recently closed on. Could not be more pleased with the service received from DSI Construction. An extremely courteous, responsive, professional, and knowledgeable staff, from individuals such as Kristy in the office to Matt who did the work. Even had a chance to meet Mr. Spence. All quality individuals who answered any questions/concerns that I had, and offered options as to how to handle the jobs that needed to be done. Everything went well. We bought a prepaid deal through Angie's List. We were able to schedule an appointment right away. The electrician was punctual and knowledgeable. He was not able to place the lights where we had wanted them but was able to offer other viable suggestions. We ended up with three cans instead of four. They provide plenty of light in a dark entry.

The next afternoon it did not work. I called and spoke with Kristy, explained the problem and she politely told me she would touch base with Matt and give me a call back (yesterday). She promptly returned my call and said that Matt would be at my house at 12:30 today. Matt showed up today promptly and in a courteous and professional manner repaired the problem. Kristy and Matt provided excellent service.
