Description of Work: We needed a new fuse box. Angie's list ran a special offering an upgraded fuse box with surge protection for the whole house. We jumped at the deal and shortly after, DSI called us to set up a time for the service. They asked enough questions to determine just what would be needed for the installation and informed us that the newer boxes took up less space than the 1960 antique that we had and suggested that we purchase a small piece of drywall that they cut and placed where the old unit was. It was wonderful that there was no waiting for parts. They were professional every step of the process. My wife was impressed and asked for a quote on another job. DSI's technician gave us a handwritten estimate and I was emailed the printed out quote the very next day. We will definitely use them again, and suggest you consider them too!

Description of Work: The electrician that came out was excellent. I had an initial rough time with the office staff and Angie's List listing price. The price was not clear regarding the extra 5 ft.

Description of Work: Rewire & relocate electrical receptacle on side of house. Repaired motion sensor light on side of mother in laws suite. Checked knob and tube wiring in attic to verify it was disconnected and provided letter for Teco insulation rebate. All went well, very professional. I would defiantly use this company again.

Description of Work: Matt installed an outdoor electrical fixture. He did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Replaced the box around the chimney pipe and replaced the roof flashing around it. Came on time, we're professional and cleaned their mess completely UP. Will be using them in the future. The old saying is true - You get what you pay for. (ps - Do your home work.)

Description of Work: Installed stone on exterior of home. Due to not following lines as requested, line is warped in one area. They fired the person working on that area mid-stream for other reason, but at that point stone was already intact. | |Placed stingers and plywood floor on second floor balcony. Installed hydro-stop material, only to find out later that a barrier guard protective coat was needed to protect the floor to place items on it. Not told this earlier, so that was an extra expense. | |Requested slope of floor to go into scuppers so that water could drain, and to this day water puddles after a good rain. I recommend NOT to pay in full until you get exactly what you want. | |Lastly, never returned estimate on a back porch in which they refused to itemize or justify a cost breakdown. Bottom line, exSPENCEive (Expensive) - I do not recommend, though they try to tout a High Angie's List Award of Excellence.

Description of Work: This was the most excellent service from an electrician we have ever had! Extremely efficient and professional. He performed all the projects I had designated including a major cluge that was extremely dangerous in the garage and got all switched identified and working. He even had time to do a couple of extra things that weren't on my original list. Excellent service!

He was very professional and definitely knew what he was doing. I watched the entire 3 hours and asked many questions. The electrician was very responsive and very easy to work with.
