They arrived on time, installed the lights, and cleaned up nicely. Went over options for location in kitchen. Also, since they didn't match the recessed lights already installed (which didn't matter to us) he went options we could do down the road so they would all match. While there, they also fixed issue with original can lights flickering. Overall, a great experience.

Great, Matt was so professional with the big and small things as well. He remembered to place a towel and drop cloth under his tool kit and drill. He wiped his feet upon entering and exiting my home. He also explained to me what he was doing as he worked his way through my list, which made me feel very comfortable. He worked quickly and efficiently. I can highly recommend Matt for his skill and his professional manner!

First class job, start to finish. The old saying is you get what you pay for and this held true for DSI. Because the doors were put into an existing 12' Spanish arch, it was not a handy man special. You know the job was craftsman like when the work looked like it was always there.Very satisfied and would strongly recommend if you are willing to pay for craftsmanship.

Service person arrived time and took all the precautions to ensure nothing was damaged. had a drop cloth to catch any debris and cleaned-up the completing the job. Very professional and knew exactly what was needed to install the three fans. He nstructed me in the use of the remote controls and stated if I needed further assistance was needed he was only a phone call away.

I bought DSI's " Big Deal" over the weekend and got a call Monday morning from their Office Manager, Kristy, to schedule the appointment. Kristy is super friendly and very professional, and not only did she call right away, but I was able to capitalize on an opening to have the work done the very next day - which was perfect. The day of the job I got another call from Kristy with an update on their electrician's status, Matt, who was on time for the 1:00 appointment. He was very patient with my himing and hawing about where the light cans should go and provided his professional (and extremely valuable) thoughts on it. When he didn't have quite the right saw to fight through our plaster and drywall ceiling, he went out to purchase one and came right back. He took very few, short breaks, was great with our dog, and fielded a thousand questions from my 6-year old in the process without missing a beat. He cleaned up after himself as he went (the plaster made for an extremely messy job), which any home owner greatly appreciates, and (due to the challenges with the ceiling) it took him nearly 6 hours in total. He didn't complain once though despite it taking him well into the dinner hour. The results were an extremely clean, professional installation that completely transformed our living room. Really couldn't be happier with the way it looks thanks to Matt's recommendations and hard work, and I look forward to working with Matt, Kristy, and DSI again in the future. Thank you! UPDATE: 4/15/15 - I called Kristy back the following day to tell them how pleased I was with the lighting installation, and asked a totally unrelated building code question while I had her on the phone. Kristy recommended I send her pictures of the area in question (my back porch) and though she thought she knew the answer, she took it upon herself to research FL building code and forward me not only the answer I was after, but three different references that I could look at myself. This level of customer service is nearly impossible to find these days and made my project and my day a whole lot easier. Thank you Kristy!

First I had spoken to Kristy the office manager. Who was very friendly and answered my questions. Then Matt the electrician came over on time. Very friendly and professional. Was at my house all day. Since it was a new patio he had to go up to the attic to do the wiring with less damage to my new patio roof. They were having a sale so the quote they given me for $395 for 8 hours of labor plus $400 for parts. At the end of the day I was charged $698.00, a lot less then the original quote. I am very happy with the work Matt did. The patio looks great. Very professional job indeed. Will use them again for sure.

We installed new wood flooring in the rear bedroom of our home in 2012. About six months ago, I noticed raised, ridged areas in the planking. The ridges became increasingly more pronounced, with the planks actually splitting down the middle. We called in a flooring professional who instantly concluded we had moisture seeping into the slab. After reviewing Angie's list, we decided to call David Spence, who scheduled an appointment the following day. Very professional and knowledgeable, Mr. Spence reviewed the history of the house and confirmed the conclusion of the flooring specialist. He outlined a plan to correct the problem. The initiation of the project was scheduled. His crew proved to be very prompt and hard working. The crew chief, Tony, provided advise about extending the project to include enhanced drainage to help prevent future problems. He obtained an estimate for the additional work within hours from Mr. Spence. The four day project was completed ahead of schedule. The crew cleared all debris at the end of each day. Because the exterior project took less time than anticipated, Mr. Spence credited us back $500. Kristy, the office manager was at all times helpful in answering questions, checking on scheduling, and clarifying procedures. Although the need for such an extensive repair to our home was completely unwelcome and unexpected, Mr. Spence and his crew made the experience of fixing the problem as painless as possible. I highly recommend DIS Construction.

These people are great to work with! Their prices are more than fair and they are super pleasant to deal with. Christy, the gal who answers the phones, is sweet and even called us the day before to confirm the appointment. Matt arrived as promised and completed the work with no fuss or problems. He even disconnected the alarm for free. A great experience. I would use them again hands down.

Arrived right on time, and even though the original box and fuses were from 1971 and there was several wires jury rigged into the box, the electrician knew exactly what to do. It took a little longer than expected but he finished the job and cleaned up everything when he was done.

David Spence of DSI Construction exceeded all of our expectations of the work that was performed in our home. His staff treated our home and personal spaces as if it were their own. Everyone we came into contact with was extremely courteous and knowledgeable of their trade. The job was completed in less time than we expected. DSI was not the cheapest but we were so satisfied with the work we will be sure to use his services again when remodeling our dining room. We LOVE our beautiful new floors and bathrooms! We feel like part of the DSI family and not just customers...THANK YOU!!!!

Spoke to Chrissie at DSI who referred MMR Inc (Mike Mohler) for the work. He came to my house to see the work that needs to be done and they will be back next week to do the work, Very happy so far of the referral from DSI, I would not hesitate to contact DSI again.

Matt performed the services. He was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. This is an older house, and it did not have an electrical outlet outdoors. Now I can finally use my leaf blower, etc. without running a cord under my door. I would definitely recommend DSI/David Spence Inc. to anyone.

THE SERVICE PERSON WERE VERY POLITE AND DID NOT WASTE ANYTIME GETTING TO HIS WORK. HE EXPLAINED WHY HE WAS USING THE NEW EQUIPMENT FROM WHAT HAS BEEN USE IN THE PAST. HE HAD IT INSTALLED IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. THE PLACE THAT I WANTED IT WAS VERY EASY FOR HIM TO GET AT THE OUTLET IN MY HOME. DID NOT HAVE TO RUN ANY WIRE LONGER THAN 1 1/2 FT. TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE COMPANY IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I WAS AWARE OF THE WORK HE DID DUE TO HAVING TO PUT OUTLET OUTSIDE BEFORE. IF ANOTHER DEAL COMES UP FOR FURTHER ELECTRICAL THAT I WOULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I have not yet used the service, however I do give the company an A for their responsiveness and professionalism. So far, so good.

During our research to find a general contractor to remodel our kitchen, we ran across DSI on Angie's list and the customer reviews were glowing. We decided that DSI would be one of the contractors we contacted, and it was the best decision we made. David Spence was able to design and remodel our kitchen within our budget, the end result was amazing. As we refined our requirements and made selections, Kristy (office manager) was in contact with us every step of the way. She was very responsive, and wonderful to work with through this process. When the work started, Tony and his crew (Sean & TJ) arrived at our home every day on time. Their workmanship, positive attitudes, and willingness to please the customer was second to none. Matt from DSI electric is excellent; we are hiring him to do some additional work for us. Very rarely do you find a company from top to bottom that truly "gets it". Matt came out and completed the job in a professional and timely manner. We had an Angie's Deal for one of the outlets and decided to go ahead and do the other outlet while he was here. We will definitely use them again for any electrical needs. In fact, we set it up for him to install an outdoor ceiling fan on our patio in a couple of weeks. Have used another highly rated electrician from Angie's List before but I much preferred DSI and Matt.

I had problems finding company to do this small construction job. The phone call to David Spence, Inc. was the most positive and resulted in a contract for the work which was well performed. They were very professional from beginning to end handling all aspects of the job. The small job seemed as important as the major. The cap looks and fits like like the old. An excellent job.
