It was AWESOME!! I got so much more than I ever expected for $399. Matt was very professional and did a great job. I ask a million questions and I think I drive most service people crazy trying to figure out what to do with my old house. Matt was very patient with me and extremely helpful. I will definitely use this company again soon for other electrical work and other projects I am planning.

I would use them again in future if I had too.

We purchased the "BIG DEAL" and were very pleased with the installer and the company. They were professional, punctual and very friendly. They showed up when they said they would, installed the new lights & dimmer switch, and then cleaned up after the installation. We were so pleased with their work we contacted them about a week later when my sister had an electrical problem with her dryer. They came out to her apartment and installed a new dryer plug and checked the electrical outlet (her apartment complex installed) to make sure it was wired properly. Very happy with their service and the staff. Would recommend them to others and will use them for future jobs. Dan B.

Running late on prior job and heavy traffic due to rain, electrician ran a little late however he did show and did the installation in a very professional manner. He offered an apology accepted as he did call to keep me informed. This is the second time I used DSI and I'm very pleased with his work and attention to detail after the installation. Overall an emphatic five star rating.

As a professional in the health care field, I am very familiar with the importance and value of customer service. I can say without reservation that David Spence and his staff are among the best I have dealt with when it comes to this area. In my experience what separates an average business from an excellent business is what happens after the sale/job is complete. After having my garage door "stick" when opening and closing 6 months after the install, I emailed DSI and received a response the next morning from Kristy Mahoney. She said she would have Sean come out the very same afternoon to fix this. Despite a major rainstorm, Sean showed up as promised with a smile even though he had been working all day and it was already early evening. He promptly identified the problem and corrected it with some sanding and repainting. He left saying to "please call back for anything you may need". I got a follow up email the next day from Kristy to make sure I was happy and to see if there was anything else that can be done. This type of service unfortunately has become rare nowadays but I am very happy to see DSI takes pride in this area. The quality of the work itself was outstanding as I had some water intrusion related problems that quickly resolved after the waterproofing work was done. David used high quality product to ensure long lasting results. In summary, DSI represents what is right and how good business is conducted. David even spent a significant amount of time with me in person explaining in detail the nature of the job and answered all of my questions with a smile. I will definitely use DSI for any home repair/construction related needs in the future and can feel confident in saying you will be just as satisfied if you decide to use them as well. Jorge G

Beautifully, excellent service, fast and friendly.

From speaking to the lady in the office to having Matt put in new ceiling lights in the kitchen we were super impressed. He put drop cloths over the counters and worked very efficiently. We did not have any canned lights, so this was a new installation. Matt had to go up into the attic a few times, but was able to install the lights and put the dimmer switch on a wall that before did not have a switch ( for convenience). Would definitely use again. Great value!!!

The electrician (I believe his name was Matt) immediately showed respect for my home. He not only wiped his shoes off several times on the mat but upon entering he removed his shoes and continued working in his socks. He was thorough, cleaning up after himself and left no debris behind. He demonstrated each fan and showed me how to operate the remote. He made no assumptions about my familiarity with it. I have additional electrical work to be done and have no reason to look elsewhere.

Matt, the electrician, was personable, timely, communicative and efficient. Can't say enough about his excellent work and attention to detail. He was meticulous in his clean up as well. We will use this installer/electrician again. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!

It went well, technician was very knowledgeable and did a very good service. Only comment is that their pricing is expensive for suggested repairs.

Matt was very polite and punctual. He was able to quickly find an old problem that had created issues for a long time. The issue had been missed by other companies. I tend to not recommend vendors but I am happy to recommend Matt.

Due to tenant negligence, a slow kitchen sink faucet spray handle leak led to a mold issue in the kitchen island. I searched Angie's List for a company that could provide both a mold remediation and replacement estimate for me. I found DSI on the list and, being very impressed with their reviews, gave them a call. I spoke with Kristy and she scheduled me an appointment to meet at the townhouse with Dave for the estimate. I met with Dave on April 9 and he went over everything that they would do regarding the remediation and work so that the mold would be contained and not move to other parts of the house. Dave was extremely knowledgeable and thorough explaining what the entire process would look like, and by doing so he made me feel totally confident that his company would do the job correctly, efficiently and would use fine craftsmanship for the replacement. I received the estimate on the same day and spoke again with Kristy to let her know that we wanted to go ahead with them. We signed the contract on the 15th of April and were put into their schedule for the 27th which is the day they began the work. Each day I would receive a progress update with pictures from Kristy showing me what they were finding and working on for that day. Dave estimated it would take until Friday May 1st to get everything done unless something unforeseen arose during the job. Well, something did arise with a water valve, but it was taken care of and we were able to meet at the house on the allotted date of May 1st to go over the finished job. I honestly could not be more impressed and satisfied with the work that they did for me. Everything looked fantastic and better than new! And the icing on the cake was the thank you note sent out by Kristy. Handwritten.......now THAT is impressive! Thanks Kristy and Dave! I would hire you again in an instant!

I ran into some unexpected issues on a DIY project I was doing that raised some serious questions about how to proceed (structural/framing questions). I called a couple of Engineering firms that wanted to charge an arm and a leg to come out and have a look. I called DSI off Angie's List and David was at my home answering all my questions within the hour! I didn't expect to get anyone out there that day, much less that moment. My timing was perfect I guess, I wouldn't expect him to respond to everyone so quickly. But the fact that he had some free time and actually used it to look at my little DIY project and lend his expertise was very refreshing. He cleared up my questions, allayed my fears, and gave me some great ideas on how to proceed. I have many projects in mind that I may not be able to tackle all on my own, so David will be getting a call from me again in the future for sure.

Everything went very smoothly. He was pleasant and easy to have around. He continually cleaned up after himself. I will hire him again.

After a slight delay, technician arrived and immediately surveyed the area and decided on his course of action. He worked steadily to neatly install the lighting fixtures and switch. The entire project took several hours to complete and the clean up was performed both during the job and upon completion. We are very pleased with the appearance of the lights and their arrangement over the table. The switch works smoothly and has is unobtrusive and easily operated. All in all, a super job.
