Sampson Land Care

Sampson Land Care used a chemical on my pool desk to seal our flagstone. The product they used was incorrect. Company did nothing to rectify the situation. I had to higher another company to remove the product off the flagstone since the product Sampson Land Care use turned the stone white.

It went well! Very happy with results and cost!

Not sure how to play this. No quote made, no work was performed, in fact, no response was received at all. I have since made contact with another provider and engaged with them. I never experienced this provider directly but don't feel that I would be comfortable ever doing so.

Walt showed up on time. He did a great job of cleaning out overgrown shrubs, and pressure washing sidewalks and driveway.

They made an appointment on Friday to come out on Saturday to give me a quote. I tried to pin them down to a time on Saturday but all they said was Saturday morning. So I sat home all morning even though I had things to do but no one showed up

Walt is excellent! I will use nobody else going forward. He is punctual, personable, I’ve used his services 2 times already and have him coming back next week to trim a tree in the back of the house. Let the house and you would not know he was here (of course the work done was awesome)! I suggest using his services!

My lawn was super uneven, wasn't edged or trimmed and had grass everywhere. poor job sadly.

Am 'extremely' pleased with the work Walter has done for me. He cut down a tree, and then cut portions of it down to logs to use in a smoker for me! He's also mowed and trimmed my yard today, and did an 'excellent' job. It took me a month to find someone who could do a good job, AND at an extremely fair price with no contracts. Thank you, "Sampson Land Care", you will have my business for a very long time.

The landscaping in the front of our yard has been overgrown and somewhat neglected recently. We are fast approaching the holidays and we needed it to look much better for company and overall curb appeal. I found Sampson Land Care on Angie's List and thought I'd give them a call based on the positive reviews I saw. He answered the phone immediately and offered to come and provide a quote within 30 minutes. My needs included pulling out some shrubs, a dead palm, pulling all the weeds, mulching and re-organizing some of the plants a bit. Also, we have a vinyl fence for our backyard so I also asked for him to pressure wash the inside and back of it. He was very honest and easy to work with. He provided different options and recommendations based on my needs which made it easy to decide. In addition, his price was very fair and within the budget I wanted to spend considering all the work that needed to be done. He even was able to start that afternoon and had everything done by the next morning! The landscaping and fence looked so much better and it was no longer embarrassing for me to walk out my front door and look at it. We also discussed some future projects about the grass in the backyard and also redoing some of the design of the front landscaping. I took several of his cards and will happily recommend Sampson Land Care to anyone that has a landscaping or pressure washing need. We plan to use this company in the future and may also hire for grass cutting once we get out of the cold months. I highly recommend this company!

I had Sampson Land Care out to get a quote for some sod work and also to have a tree trimmed. I am very happy with my experience. As far as the sod work, it was to fix a horrible job done by another company. I thought that all of the sod would need to be ripped out and new sod laid. Walter gave me 3 options. 1 included ripping up the old sod but he advised me that it wasn't necessary to go that drastic. So he also gave me 2 cheaper options and said for me to decide what I thought would be best for me. It's rare to find someone that honest to offer up cheaper options. He could easily have just quoted me for ripping up the old sod even though it did not need to be done. I was pleasantly surprised. As far as the tree trimming, it was also a great experience. He cut it based on our HOA standards and it was sufficient, but I really wanted a little more cut off because the part over my drive-way had been annoying me. Walter could tell that I wanted something else done, so he asked. (I felt bad asking, because he had technically already cut the required amount.) But he was fine with cutting more off for me and didn't charge anything extra... As an added bonus, he also cleaned out my gutters while he was here. (He noticed them while walking the property looking at the sod.) This was something extra he did, he did not charge me any extra. I have a very small section of gutters, but they were pretty bad and had not been done in years, due to some medical issues that I have had. He was happy to help because he knows the importance of it. (even I know the damage that was bound to happen but there wasn't anything I could really do.) So from start to finish, I was pleasantly surprised with his willingness to go above and beyond. I highly recommend this company. And will also be having him do yard work for me in the future. (And pressure wash my house, because he does that also.)
