Description of Work: We needed storage space in the area above our garage and a repairs to some tile and walls. Tracy and his guys were able to schedule the work soon after he came to give me an estimate and got the work done within a few days. They handled everything - I just had to be home to let them in.

Description of Work: I hired Tracy to renovate a bathroom for my elderly mother. He is a nice guy and the job got mostly done but there were several issues along the way and in the end I am as much disappointed as I am pleased. To begin, ten quote was for labor only and I needed to provide materials. I wasn't told what materials were needed immediately and what could wait. I hired him on a Thursday or Friday and he began on Monday. This isn't my chief complaint but I make a point of saying so because I ended up having to have him buy a shower head so he could get the valve in he wall right away. Typically you want to choose aesthetic things like that. Unfortunately he injured his arm right of the bat with our job when a piece of tile came off the wall and into his forearm requiring surgery. Maybe this set the whole job up wrong but it was a series of glitches from then on. He came on day one with himself, an employee that had worked for him for 2 years and a new hire. He fired the new guy within 2 days and his longer term employee on Friday (or over the weekend) after a huge amount of yelling on Friday. No one showed up the next Monday. On Tuesday someone he hired off Craigslist came to work by himself. He was very nice and did a good job as far as I could tell but I got he clear vibe from Tracy that he was unhappy with his work pace. (He did pick up a job in the middle and get things moving - working all by himself.) this new employee cleaned up everything as the job site was a disaster. Seriously a disaster. Concrete mix on my floor and rug, concrete debris all over my patio, jack hammers, concrete drill, and saws piled on my area rug, throw rugs of mine turned upside down and used as protection on my entry stairs, dust everywhere. Disaster. Tom (Craigslist hire) was communicative and easy to work with. He checked in each day upon arrival to make sure no plans had changed and updated me each evening when he left if I was home. Very nice to work with. The problem was that Tom was there to do the tile work only. Tracy was hired for the full bathroom. Communication and follow through were big problems. He told me to order things and he would pick them up. I would let him know that something was in and needed for measurements (shower door) so the tile and accent could go in. When asked if I should get it or if he could he said he would and then would call Tom and tell him to take lunch and go get it. No big deal but it wasn't in Tom's name to be picked up and I had already talked to Tom about it and knew he didn't have room in his vehicle to pick it up. I waited 2 more days and then went and got it. We were given no ""do nots"" for tile and we picked marble subway tiles with a glass accent strip. When I showed him this he said we needed to get another tile that had a softer edge bc marble was hard to lay. We got glass subway tiles with a marble accent instead and it was more expensive (& apparently still had problems). Plus it wasn't what we really wanted material-wise. When we hired Tracy, I explained that we were removing a tub and replacing with a shower so that it would be easier for my elderly mother. We discussed threshold height and he said he could make it as low as two inches. I said great, but it came out to be 6"" - a note able difference. I probably could have asked him to rip it out and redo it but I didn't have another (insert period of time) to wait on a time delay... Last, when Tracy found out Tom didn't paint he was grouch and found somebody to come in and paint. They didn't dust or wash the walls or trim. After a dusty tile job!!! The paint peeled right off. There were other finish details that were lacking but I figure those are more par for the course. I hired him at the end of June. He finished mid-August. I waited until early September (3 weeks) before writing the review hoping that my review would come out nicer. Good things about Tracy: he is a kind man and I believe quite capable but our job was plagued with scheduling and employee/sub issues as well as minimal oversight. (2) He was available to start right away, but missed his targeted finish date by double the time. (3) this really could all be to things pulling his attention elsewhere. We both had loved ones in the hospital for prolonged visits during this time period and I know how that can pull your time and attention away. (4) When we just wanted to be done, we parted ways with us having to scrape the paint off and refinish the bathroom doors, trim and walk touch-ups, clean up all of the concrete debris from our priority, hire a maid (twice) to clean and dust the entire basement level, and repair a sizable hole in the floor in the bedroom adjacent to the bath while he forgave approx $200 in receipts for materials (based on what he said. We paid $750+ in materials plus all of the tile, vanity, marble thresholds, paint, red guard, grout, etc = approx $2.7 K). Overall, while he was nice and the job got (mostly) done I would not rehire him.

Description of Work: I hired Tracy to make some relatively modest cosmetic changes to a bathroom (new floor tile, painting cabinets, replacing trim). He was very pleasant and prompt in communicating. A lot of the actual work was done by a helper who was also very pleasant but did not have good attention to detail. Tracy came out and finished some grouting the helper had left undone and I appreciated that very much. I would call him again but would be more specific about the work and my expectations, knowing that some of the work will be delegated to other people and that he won't be present the entire time.

Description of Work: We scheduled a day for him to come over to discuss the job. He said he had one job that morning and would probably be available at 11 am but he would call when he was on his way. To this day we have never heard from him again.

Description of Work: Called this vendor last spring 2014, needed work under kitchen sink which was type of work listed in his reviews as having been done. Also needed minimal bi-annual task done, similar to putting on & removing hurricane plywood/winterizing done going forward. Needed ceiling fan installation. Many other things that could be done over time as my husband & I are both disabled. Mr Roberts told me on the phone regarding the work under the sink "you need to call a regular handyman for that." Haven't selected anyone else yet. Was very disappointed. Will try again soon, needing all the above as well as new roof urgently. Recovering from bronchitis at the moment. Maybe next month. Description of Work: Provider made an appointment to provide painting estimate but did not show. He did call four days later to inquire whether or not I had received an estimate from another provider.

Description of Work: Power washed my home. |It looks new again. Will most definitely use Mr.Roberts again, in fact we plan to have him paint our trim on our home.

Description of Work: Gutters realigned and one gutter installed; patching and painting of kitchen ceiling; wood rot replacement and painting; replaced weather stripping on door; installed new outdoor motion lights; re-caulked tubs in three bathrooms; installed and painted quarter inch round along backsplash of countertops.

Description of Work: Immediate call back, assessed job and performed work within four days. Tracy gave me excellent advice with regard to color and installation of new cabinet. The project involved was the redecoration of a powder room and I could not have been more pleased. I believe that the price was reasonable and the job itself was performed by two employees who could not have been more obliging or more polite.

Description of Work: I hired Tracy to replace 10 exterior patio doors and repair rot around framing. He and his crew did an excellent job at a fair price.

Description of Work: The work was performed in a 4 bd, 2 bath rental property that was severely neglected. Scope of work performed included: painting interior of the house including ceilings, trim and doors minor roof repairs repainting of the double front doors replacing all door hardware through the house installing new laminate counter top in kitchen installing new glass tile back splash replacing rotted french doors that included changing the size of the door opening building a new closet for one of the bedrooms replacing light fixtures which included light patching of walls replacing bathroom hardware installing blinds in all windows re-staining two outdoor porches pressure washing driveway and outside of house mow and trim overgrown lawn trimming some branches from trees price quoted included labor and most of the materials.
