Their price was very good, I got several estimates and they came in much lower than the others. I would have given them an A but they didn't show up on the day they had given me. In fairness they said they had given me 2 dates, meaning that it was one or the other. I called when they didn't show up and they said they were coming the other date, which they did. I was hoping for a smoother spread of the fill dirt than I got but it was very good and workable. First bill I got billed me for more hours than actually used; they corrected it immediately. Overall very pleased and I would absolutely use them again.

He originally was supposed to show up on Monday, but didn't. I called, and they said the were having trouble with workers, and would be there on Tuesday. NO SHOW again. Again I called and told Thursday, and Thursday they were having equipment problems and no show again. Finally on Friday they showed up at the time that I requested they NOT come. The work was done, but one of our bushes is burnt up by the machine they used. I should post a picture to show you how bad it is. He came out and said that yes, it was caused by their machine, but no offer to fix or any compensation. So, overall, would not use again.

Nick and crew did a great job moving the double foxtail. It wasn't an easy move, but Nick and his team made it work. Palm seems to be holding it's own and we believe it will make it.

From the moment we called the company they were very responsive. They provided us with a very reasonable quote and came the very next day to complete the project. They have a track machine for removing the stumps so they needed a way into the back yard without encumbrances. Fortunately everything went well and the stumps were removed very quickly. We were extremely pleased with the promptness of the service.

The job went better than I could ever imagine. The palm was very close to the house (3 feet from corner of the house) and sat over the septic tank. There was also concrete edging and a large bush within a foot of the palm. Nick showed up with his crew and they wasted no time in taking the palm down along with moving it out of the way as he brought in the equipment to grind the stump. After all of the palm tree was removed, along with all the orange seeds that fell off, my front yard was totally raked. All of the ground-up stump was also raked in the flower bed and you would never know looking at the yard that a tree had been removed. I still go out and admire the great job they did without damaging the house, edging or large bush. Not only did they do a great job, all the guys were so polite and answered all my questions. I knew when I saw his "Proposal" in my emails, that he was very professional and I would definitely hire them again and would highly recommend them for any services that they do.

According to the listing call hours showed Saturday 8-5, however when called received a recording that they only operated Monday-Friday. Left a message about obtaining an estimate for three trees to be removed with a call back number. I was able to find another provider to complete an estimate on Saturday and do the job on Monday. Monday afternoon I recive a call from Nick of Florida Tree asking about the estimate I had requested and I explained that I had found someone else to complete the job to which Nick replied in a sarcastic tone, "Yea, I known I drove by and saw the trees were gone". I asked if he preformed stump removal and he said "Yes" and I asked for an estimate and he said $350.00 to which I replied that I would let him know if I decided to have that work done. On 8/6/15 I receive a written estimate from Florida Tree dated Tuesday 8/4/15 for $300.00 to remove three trees. This was very usual considering that I explained I had the work already completed and the estimate date was a day after the work was done. If Florida Tree is not going to answer telephone calls on Saturday as posted to their site they show change there hours in the Angies Listing and not treat a prospective client rudley because they did not get the job.

I trust that it is done right. I have not been down to my second home in FL to see it yet, however I trust him enough to do the job correct. He is also so clean!

Given Nick's busy business and prior bookings, it took about a week for him to get there. He DID do the job on the day that he'd said he would. I saw the lot today. It was every bit as clean and orderly as Nick had said that it would be, and the debris was totally gone. The palms that I keep growing on the lot were well and tightly trimmed. The place was thoroughly cleaned up. I called the Code Enforcement guy and he stopped by. He was completely satisfied and closed my Violation Case. Thanks, Nick, for a great job! You're a straight guy and I'll recommend you any time!

Nick came out to look over job and gave a reasonable estimate for the work. He had a positive, can-do, cheerful attitude; A week later job was scheduled. I did have to move up the date and Nick was able to accommodate my schedule. On the work date, they were running late and did call to let me know. Nick and crew of 3 other men came prepared with necessary tools and equipment and trucks. . They got to work quickly and finished at dark (at least 8 hours or so). They only stopped for a lunch break. As it turned out, the previous landscaper didn't even put the plants through to the dirt below the weed mat but were planted on the mat itself so many ended up being removed, but that actually was ok. They were able to get around most of the larger plants and shrubs or digging up and replanting some in order to do thorugh removal. They were protective of the low-voltage lighting that had been in the ground. I am impressed with the thoroughness of the job--very few rocks remain, the weed mat is gone and everything looks 100% better. I am sorry i didn't get a picture of the crew working and work, they did! I know that this was a back-breaking, labor intensive job, as I did this myself many years ago on a much smaller scale, when I lived in Michigan. It took me the whole summer. They cleaned up, swept up and left everything pretty neat and clean. Nick also ended up re-glueing a water pipe that had not been properly glued. Thank you Nick and guys for getting this done as you said you would, and getting the ground back to a state where we can dig and plant and watch things grow. Worth every dollar! BTW--my very picky neighbor even commented on how nice things looked and how well you worked together. (Sorry this review is a little late)

The men arrived at 7 am to start the job just like they said they would. They worked for about 2 or 2 and a half hours until my yard was cleaned up and all debris taken away. As they were trimming my 6 trees I asked if they could take a row or 2 off our 3 large Bismark palms. No problem. The chain saw was cutting a row off as I finished asking the question. I said I would drag the Bismark debris to the front where the rest of the stacks were. NO WAY!!!! They said they would do it and for me "not to worry". How nice is that????? I usually do the Bismark' Palms myself but they had grown to a point were I needed their help. I would use them again in a heartbeat. It may take a week or 2 to get an appointment but it is well worth the wait. I used them in 2010 and 2011 but called someone else in 2012 because I was in a hurry. This year I waited for Nick and was so pleased that I waited for his service. They are the best tree service around. We have had this home since (2002) 11 years and I am glad I found Nick in 2010. I am sure I would hire him again and I would recommend them to everyone.

Nick was slow to get here because he had truck problems (I can forgive that). He had an "accident" while doing my work, his equipment backed over the 2x4 with the hose bib for the dock area and broke it off (water was running out of the broken pipe). Also he nailed the next 2x4 with the AC power plug on it so now the tree is gone but I have a 1/2 day's worth of work to fix the problems he left me behind fixing the plumbing and electrical. I did check several people and his price was very reasonable for the work, if only he didn't have the "accident".

I would not hire any other company for any tree work. Nick and his crew were professional, personable and competent. They had the right equipment to do the job and all was performed flawlessly. The previous homeowner had hired another firm to remove a Bischofia tree from the front yard. The other company did not remove the root and dozens of new saplings were sprouting. It took Nick's crew 5.5 hours to grind the stump, which was probably 10 ft in diameter. Obviously the other company did a sub par job. Nick and crew also removed a huge Jacaranda tree from the back yard. The tree had a large Stag Horn fern growing in the junction of the tree that I wanted to save. Nick cut around the fern and relocated the fern to a corner of the yard. I asked Nick to move a couple of palm trees. He wouldn't take the job at this time, he said the stress of moving them at this time of year could kill them, especially since I wouldn't be around to water them daily. I will definitely call Nick to move the trees when I'm back next year. Do not hire any other tree company!

They answered my phone call, came out and gave me a great estimate. Trucks arrived the next day. They took down the trees and did the trim work while keeping me informed during the process. Once finished they answered some questions I had for future projects in my yard and cleaned everything up.

They arrived on time, surveyed what needed to be done. Work started on time and was completed in the time they said it would take. During the process of the removal of one stump close to the pool cage and in a flower bed an irrigation pipe was broken. They and I didn't know it was there and they promptly told me not to be concerned that they would repair it. Told me they would be back as soon as possible to do the repair, which they did to my complete satisfaction. They took away all the debris and left my yard looking nice. I do recommend this company.

They work hard, and they work very well. They do a great job. Very good technique in removing trees, even in tight spaces.

This crew does a wonderful job. i hired them as my mowing company because i was so impressed with their tree removal skills. ( see my review for that service ) they work very hard and very neatly.

They were outstanding. Their service is very efficient, very fast, very clean and expensive. They did an awesome job, and they did more than what they were asked to do. I am extremely happy with the work they did.

They arrived on time, removed the trees and stumps in about five hours, cleaned up the area where they did the work, did the job for the price quoted, no surprises, and were very professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering tree removal.

I wasn't home when the job was done but Nick had the equipment necessary, a bobcat. The bush was ripped out from the roots...just the way I wanted it.

Went well. All I have to do is tell them which planters need/do not need treatments. They pretty much know which ones. We talk often when they are here. Nice people.

Florida Tree came out and cut down all 3 of my oak trees in one day, and did such a great job of cleaning up, that you would not even know that there were trees there. Great Job, Florida Tree.

Nick the owner came out to give me the estimate. I had three tree services come out to give me a quote Florida Tree and Ground Maintenance was the best and also the most knowledgeable. The other two were disappointing to say the least. I bought my house because of the oak trees and did not want anyone hacking them up. They showed up when they said they would and did the job. I am very happy and would recommend them.
