+ -1 moreOne star is too many stars. First time I called for maintenance I was asked “why are you calling us?” Responsibility for standing behind their product rapidly declined from there.
Description of Work: Installed and maintained an ozonating system approx 2 yrs. ago. Rebedded system within first yr, replaced carbon filter which failed, replaced an electronic reader part. Didnt pay for that because it was still under warranty. After that, black, brown and green particles were present in the water; foul smelling water. I was charged a service call and told that the system would require rebedding again (cost of over $500.00). I declined. Service call was $185 I was told we had a 1 yr warranty. Everything done after that would be a charge to me. After installation, the tech asked me what time I would like the 4hr cycle to be set, as the system flushes every 24 hrs and the water cannot be used during that time. That is ridiculous, but the system was already installed so I was determined to live with it. Water quality declined so poorly that I purchased another system, with a 7yr unlimited warranty for over $7,000.00. The only item saving us from bacteria in our drinking water is the RO system under our kitchen sink. In my opinion and as a business owner myself, Certain can make this right by refunding the purchase price of this system. Buyer beware! When I purchased the system to replace our original that tanked, the sales associate told me that there was nothing that the system that he recommended couldnt filter out. That was less than honest. Stay away from Certain.

+ -1 moreAfter inspection of system technician found that all 5 filters were clogged due to type of water we have in Florida. Replaced all filters as I had a free maintenance when we purchased the system. System now works as expected.

+ -1 moreAs a newcomer to SW FL, I found the water quality to be very poor. I had a softener system in my old home and decided to look for one for my new home here. I began my research and found that far too many so called professionals in this area wanted to charge upwards of 7 thousand dollars for equipment and service. I contacted my water service company up North to get a referral and they helped me find Bill Certain. He was knowledgeable, professional and demonstrated the ability to inspire trust. I was happy to refer Bill to my new next door neighbors and they also bought a new system. He also has proven to stand by his work. An unexpected problem arose and he came right back to help me resolve the matter. I would recommend Certain Water Service to anyone in the area.

I was very happy when he called to tell me it was under warranty and that he could repair it for $313. He came out soon thereafter and repaired the system!
Description of Work: I am a Consumer Advocate and landlord. I have dealt with many service professionals in my profession. I found Certain Water Service, Inc. on Service Magic after I had already received quotes from two other companies. Wow what a blessing. This company has now saved me thousands. I am not exaggerating. I had already received quotes over $2,600.00 for service that Mr. Certain provided for $313.00. My system was under warranty and I was not aware of it. Mr. Certain took the time to look into it for me and saved me a bundle. He was prompt and professional and honestly before he had even provided me with the quote, I was prepared to pay more to use his company. He is a professional and I would strongly recommend his company to anyone looking for well, soft water, filtration, or water treatment systems repair or replacement. I was so appreciative that I have decided to have his company fully service my system on a monthly basis in order to prevent future problems.
