ABSOLUTE WINDOW

I am writing this review out of continued frustration of having to deal with this company. Is the product good. Seems to be. one star Was the work good. Seems to be. one star To date, they have been the MOST uncommunicative, uncooperative contractors I've hired. After having many communication issues over the months, with the added problems of Hurricane Ian, I thought we had finally had smoothed things out with this group. 1. Did not contact me for over three months. 2. Supposedly lost my email ( the salesman still had it, though.) 3. Finally scheduled the project. Came on a different day. 4. It's been a month (12/9-1/9) since the windows were installed, but they haven't scheduled inspection. And, yes, I've called and called and emailed and emailed.

I wish I could give Absoulte Windows 100 stars not just 5. From the moment the salesperson Allen Hilton arrived we were impressed. This man knows his windows!!! We live in a historic home built in the late 1800's and the sales people before him were not knowledgeable. Allen knew exactly what we needed for functionality and aesthetics. Absolute delivered on all the promises Allen gave. The installer Dan was timely, professional, and took great pride in his work! The office staff was always ready to answer my questions and requests with a smile. I would definitely recommend Absolute Windows. Kim Farinella

Salesman was unresponsive after job was sold. Installers were late/no-shows repeatedly Numerous windows were installed with scratches or obvious past repairs Door was installed with 2 screws! Communication was poor. Office was rude.

The work done was excellent. The only hiccup was that one of the sliding glass door panels had a slight defect in the glass. Took awhile to get a satisfactory replacement from the manufacturer. We could hardly see the defect, but Absolute found it and was not going to accept that quality from the supplier. I will definitely look at them when I need further work done.

Prompt scheduling of estimate, best price from all the estimates secured. Windows arrived in short order and they installed everything in one day. Cleaned up after themselves.

Very professional. Good price, very good work, responsive to requests and questions.

I interviewed several impact window/door providers and did considerable research before selecting Absolute Window, Inc. in Venice FL. The customer service from start to finish was outstanding. I would highly recomment Dan F, who was the sales representative for the company. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and established a high level of credibility from the beginning. He listened to what I wanted, made helpful and appropriate suggestions, and did not pressure sell. Mark H was the project manager. He was helpful, knowledgeable and well organized. Cory and Jeff were the installation technicians, and I can't say enough great things about them. They were master craftsmen, took great care with the installation and reduced the disruption as much as possible. They went above and beyond to provide excellent service, to complete the installation with the highest quality, to pay great attention to detail, to clean up any debris, and to present esthetically pleasing finishing touches. They had great ideas and were always personable, polite and provided all around exceptional customer services. Absolute Window had a very competitive price, and my windows and doors are beautiful. My bedroom was noticeably warmer in the summer and colder in the winter, because of the many windows in the room. From the first day with the new windows, there was no temperature difference between my bedroom and the rest of the house. It was noticeably cooler. This was a large project and it was a pleasure to work with Absolute Window in Venice from start to finish. Abslute Window does exactly what they say they will do. They promise a good job and deliver a great one.

Installed a pool cage. As it turned out I needed to get a zoning variance from the city and this company was extremely cooperative and worked with me. They were extremely punctual and professional.

Great install and finished product. Absolute changed all my windows to impact windows from PGT. From the pricing to the install was a great experience. This is a family style business with everyone taking pride in what they do. As far as the PGT product the only thing I can say is superior... I would recommend Absolute Window from P**** Gorda to anyone.

First replacement turned out to be faulty - 2nd one is OK. We bought these windows through Oliveri Construction as part of a remodeling project - cost about $10,000.00 for 9 large Insulated PVC Sliding Windows in 2010. So far, one Glass seal has failed, and that is the cause for the warranty replacement.

They did good job. They were courteous and clean. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I called in Absolute Window and asked about 2 things 1, having protection against hurricane winds, and 2nd, I live close to I75 in Sarasota Fl. And the noise level is very high with cars and trucks. At the recommendation of there representative he suggested to replace my windows with PGT impact hurricane single hung windows. After the quality installation and clean up the test for the sound level was on. Woke up the next morning to experience 75 in the early morning rush! I was noticing a 80 percent difference. Wow good nights sleep for now on. As for the hurricane test, I hope we never have to get there but if we do, I feel we will have no problem. I recommend this company to anyone who is interested in a quality company and quality products. In January I will be changing my sliders. Also the in house people are on top of ordering, inspecting the product before it gets to your home, makes the timely install and follows up with a call to make sure all is well. Then gets the building inspectors over to check the product and the install. Smooth all the way. Thumbs up for Absolute Windows!

They did a fine job. They were really good.

We were satisfied with the product, but very unsatisfied with the workmanship. The salesman assured us when the job was completed there would be nothing left for us to do but enjoy the finished product. This was not the case. 1.) Numerous deeply recessed nail holes were quite obvious on the outside door frame. When we complained, the company sent a workman to fill the holes. However, he filled them with brown wood putty although the door was white. The filling was still so recessed that we had to refill the holes with white putty and repaint the frame. 2.) The calking on the outside front windows and door was thick and globby. We have since repainted the outside of our house and had a difficult time masking the irregularities. 3.) The threshold on our white front door and the molding on the bottom of the white sidelites is brown plastic making our door and sidelites appear chopped off. When we complained about that we were told they did not come in white. They told us to scuff them up and paint them white!
