Update: A refund has been issued to me, and I appreciate the quick response on HomeAdvisor. I was looking for someone to fix the air conditioning system. The AC unit was newly installed, but the room is not cooling properly, so the issue must be insulation and ductwork. I contacted this company, and they said they do those jobs, but they need to run an inspection first. Today, after the inspection, they now told me they dont do such job, and I have to hire someone else. I basically wasted $135 for nothing. Furthermore, the inspection fee was only $95, but because the office receptionist forgot to give me a callback, I had to pay $135, the after-hour cost, becasue now they were fully booked. Very dissapointed and upset. My tenants are now suffering another weekend in 85 degrees and they might move out.

So I just had Rob T. work on my AC unit today. I called them at around 7:40 A.M and they said someone would be here between 12-2, no problem. I said **that is enough time to stop the house from baking**. 2:30 came and no call, no one showed up. I called the office and they told me the tech was behind and I said: **no problem, how much longer? cause pretty soon I am gonna be baking in the house with the evening sun**. So, the office was ok on their service but I should have gotten a call letting me know what was going on. I definitely should not have had to call them. 4:40 PM comes and Rob shows up. Oh my, I could have kissed him, but with the COVID thing I kept my distance. Within 20 minutes this awesome man had replaced the capacitor and checked my levels and I was up and running! The temp in the house has gone down 2 degrees since he did it. Thank goodness I have air again! Job well done, Mr. Rob! Thank you!

There was some confusion on our initial visit about what we needed to do to prepare for our visit but G&R was really great about everything. Their technicians were very professional and the work is good. Will be following up with them for future AC needs.

They've been out twice to complete my install of a packaged unit, but it was such a lazy and half@ssed attempt to seal up the duct work from the unit to the side of my house. The sheet metal looks horrible, is crimped and debited everywhere and will hold good water on top when it rains. It's open underneath, with no way of keeping pests out, so a rat could easily chew it's way into my flex duct. They also just dumped sand under the overhanging ends of my slab (because they just put a new slab on top of the existing slab), which will just wash out the next time it rains (and will fail any competent inspector's assessment). Save your money and go somewhere else. I had my unit go out on the hottest day so far this year, so I was in a pinch. I'm waiting on a call back after I called yesterday to complain about the latest attempt to finish the job. Regretting I called this company right now..
