 + -1 moreThe owner came and as I am trying to show him what I needed.. ..he proceeded to start measuring my entire porch which obviously did not need anything done to it. I told him I only needed the area of screen replaced that was ripped and the bolts and braces replaced where the metal panel on the floor was coming up. Well.... thats not what he does. He apparently only does BIG JOBS and this was not worth his time. Thank you SO MUCH! I won't waste your time again!
Description of Work: I explained on my request that I needed a ripped screen section replacement along with some bolts replaced on a screened porch.

 + -1 moreThis company was great. Cliff, the owner, was awesome to deal with. He provided a thorough estimate, answered all our questions, and worked with all of the requirements from our HOA. The price was about on par with another company we got an estimate from. The job was completed in roughly 2 days. The screen wall looks great and our back patio feels like an entire new room to the house. The materials were brought to our home and measured to size and constructed on site. The wall, door, and kick plate all feel sturdy and solid. Overall it was a smooth and pleasant experience. We would use them again.
Description of Work: We had our back patio screened in. Treasure Coast installed one screen wall (about 10-11 feet tall) with a screen door and a 2 foot kick plate all the way across.

 + 2 moreShutters and door were ordered on 6-24-2013 and all work was complete and inspected on 07-24-2013. Bill the installer is very hard working and very professional. When problems were encountered he and Cliff the owner of business conferred and solved them without any problems. One of these included leveling front entry way by adding a cement pad to hold frame of shutters. All work took about 21/2 days during which Bill worked non stop. When work was completed he showed me how to operate and lock shutters when closed and how to secure them when they were open. He explained the best way to maintain them so they would always operate smoothly. I was very happy with all of the work and the time frame in which it was completed. I would not hesitate to call Treasure Coast home improvement in the future if I need more work.
Description of Work: Install 6 Accordion Hurricane Shutters on House, Three for large windows, two on large entry doors and one on three panel sliding glass doors. Install outside entry door rated for Hurricanes.

 + -1 moreHe performed everything I asked and it went ahead to used the minimum charge of 3 hours work in sealing several holes the previous houseowner had made installing this and that around tte house. He gave me good advice on how to maintain the siding and good suggestions on how to proceed when a replacement is due. I will certainly include this company when looking for bids for a siding or windows job.

Description of Work: Due to the initial responces I was dissatisfied from the beginning. I understand when people are working they get dirty but the guy was sloppy and not in the least bit professional. When I questioned his estimate which was double two others I had gotten, he said he had given me a discount for Angie's List and that he had to add his profit. He talked to me as though I were stupid and his condescending attitude was offensive. I would never hire him to do any job for me.

Cliff Wells, the president of the company, called us the same day and came over to give us an estimate. We were very happy with the price he quoted and hired him on the spot. He was able to do the job within a week, after he finished another job. He kept in contact with us at all times to let us know when he would be at our house for the job. Excellent work! On time!! Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Description of Work: Cliff came out and gave us an approximate cost figure to add a screened porch to the back of our home. He was courteous, knowledgable and professional,but the price far exceeded our expectations.

He wanted to fix everything rather than what needed to be done. I never got the estimate because he said it would take a week and I found somebody to do the work the next day.

He was very professional and did an unbelievably great job. I spent about $6000 or $7000. I would definitely use him again in the future.

 + 0 moreWe called and they responsed quickly, giving us an estimate. Explained in detailed what was necessary to complete the job. They had to order new windows which took some time to get in, however, we were kept up todate at all times. We were out of town when the window came, so we had someone let the workers in to our home to start work. They were very professional and clean. They took pictures of the rotted areas and emailed them to us so we could discuss what was going on. They continued to take pictures as the work progressed and emailed. We were very happy with everything and would use this company for any future work.

The only obstacles were the weather as on some days it simply rained and rained and work could not be completed as much of the work was done under the elements until the roof went on. All in all, the work was quality work, the materials were of quality in nature and craftsmanship. The job was done right and the room turned out very nice.
Description of Work: We had a Florida room built to local municipality codes approximately 20ft x 28ft. There was an existing screen enclosure over the patio where the Florida room was to be built. Cliff came out and met with myself and my wife to discuss the type/style/color room that we wanted built. We wanted to turn a screened in patio into a "recreational room" where we could put our hot tub, sitting area, TV area, and so forth. We wanted the room to be solid against the elements, and to withstand hurricane force winds which is required by city/state building codes. The room is solid through and through, complete with 4" insulated pan roof, 3" insulated walls, and impact windows and an entry door as well. We are very happy with the room. I have included some pictures to show how nice it turned out.

The company provided permits, skylights, necessary framing materials, and arranged for a screen door since the doors opened up to the outside. We were kept informed from the beginning until the job was completed. Our input was welcomed and listened to. Only when the job was definitively completed and we were satisfied was the final payment requested. Cleanup and neatness was done during and at the completion. I would have liked a lower price, but it was in line with today's industry standard and, importantly, there were no unwanted surprises during or after completion of the job. All paperwork was professionally done before and after the job. If I could offer a possible area for improvement, it would be in the area of final painting. A base painting was done, as per contract, but we had to arrange for the final paint job... prices quoted by outside companies were ridiculous ($450 for, at most, 3 hours work ) so we resorted to our own sources ($100). This was something the company could do for the homeowner. This aside, we were very pleased with the company and the job. End.

 + -1 morecalle, visit to know what we wanted, estimate by email with phone call to explain. Follow up call after a week. We decided not to continue since the project is a bit over our budget and in this economy does not add enough to the home's value.
