Elite Electric Plumbing and Air installed a new AC system that included a line set that came into attic through the eve from outside house. The line set was installed incorrectly with the line set up against the underside of the roof decking in the attic WITHOUT PROTECTION. Florida Residential Building Code Section M1411.7 Location and Protection of Refrigerant Piping states "Refrigerant Piping installed within 1-1/2 inches of the underside of roof decking SHALL be protected from damage caused by nails and other fasteners. Customer is 87 years old and low income. A roof was being installed under a low income grant through My Safe Florida Home. The AC stopped cooling and customer called Elite Electric Plumbing and Air because customer paid an extra $595 (just under $10,000 install) for a 10 year extended parts and labor warranty. Elite Electric Plumbing and Air sent a technician out and a leak was found in attic where line had been improperly installed against the underside of the roof decking WITHOUT THE REQUIRED PROTECTION. Not only did the technician not fix the leak and replace the leaked freon, the technician tried to get 87 year old customer to sign a waiver and tried to get customer to agree to adding freon into the system without repairing the line for $895 and said would return in 10 days to do a repair. Customer refused knowing freon would leak out again. Then technician charged the low income senior $119 for the "service call". Customer requested a manager call (this was Friday) and manager did not call and 87 year old senior with a respiratory infection spent entire weekend in an 85 degree house. Elite Electric Plumbing and Air was called on weekend and given number to call on Monday morning. Monday morning still no call from the manager, so call was made to Andrew "manager" and he said that the repair would be $2175 plus freon. He denied that the code required any spacing and denied that the incorrect installation caused the needed repair. Would not do business with this slimy company EVER again and will tell everyone I know how this company tried to take advantage of this low income senior.

Dishonest! They talked me into a service agreement for my AC unit. Living in Florida, AC is essential. They said they guaranteed same day service if I have an agreement. Every time I my AC breaks down, I call and they can't come out for 1-2 days. I tell them about my agreement, it doesn't matter. Too bad! Terrible company! do not trust them!

Worker told me the cost of 9.50 instead he charged me $950.00. I thought that was to much so I cancelled his return visit. Been waiting for a refund. Was told Elite would refund me $550.00. So for 20 mins of work to cap drain under sink Elite charged me $400.00

Went well. However, one outside GFI was not working due to infestation of fire ants and was not checked or detected by service representative. Heat strip/air handler breaker trips when heat is turned on.

Technician arrived promptly. Clean and courteous. Presented estimate for work which, if wife wasn't home, would have refused and sent him on his way. Absolutely ridiculous cost to install fan switches (which I provided) into existing switch boxes, about $185.00 EACH. Lesson learned. Will look around further in the future if any other work is ever needed. Never paid even close to this amount anywhere else I've lived. Last place, 2 counties away only charged $10.00 each switch when I had the same work done. Also only paid $60.00 per fan to be hung. That came to $360.00 plus $60.00 for a $420.00 total. Paid $2461.74 this time. Only 2 years between these jobs, so I don't think the cost of living has gone up so drastically in this time frame. Satisfied with job but not with price. Never again!

Excellent workmanship and cleanliness. Very pricey however, especially the price of installing fan switches. I supplied the fan switches and there were existing rocker switches already in place but EACH wall switch replacement cost me $175.00 for only about 5 minutes each - a ridiculous amount of money but I just didn't want to screw up the job so I paid. Yes I was told by the installer ahead of doing the work but I felt that he was there and I wanted the entire job done so I went ahead with it but I do feel the price to do that portion of the job was totally out of line with what the actual work entailed. Existing fan outlets were also already in the ceiling so no running of wires was involved in any part of this job. The last time I had fans and switches installed with the same amount of work, I paid less than $600.00 also done by a licensed electrician only 2 counties north of here.

Very smoothly. Yardiel was professional, courteous and knew what he was doing and could explain it in terms I understood.

Electrician John did a great job. Replaced with a quality gfci and tested it. No problems. Only problem was that hefty price also included a service charge. I feel I should not have been charged a service charge too. Very annoyed by this. However, would use them again since the electricians are very competent. Have used them before and everything was done right. Good company but pricey.

It went great! Paul Jamboree was my service electrician and he is great. He has the patience of a saint. He is personable and smart. He really knows what to do. It went very well. Paul showed up promptly and gave me a few options regarding the chandelier.. I chose one and he moved forward. He answered all my questions and did an excellent job. The company sent me a confirmation of the appointment time as well as a name and picture of the technician. The technician, Paul, had excellent customer service skills and I felt as though I was dealing with a professional and caring organization (which is rare these days). I know I can trust them and will use them again.

Elite cancelled the first appointment. The next week they called to say they had an opening on Friday at 8:30 AM and would I like the Tech to come by then? I replied "sure", but I was unaware that the scheduler also stated that there would be a $89.00 fee just for them to show up. When they showed up, their estimates for just installing the boxes, not wiring them to the switches, was 30 % more than a previous estimate we had in hand that included wiring the switches. The tech also tried to sell an electrical maintenance program which we declined. Of course they waive the $89.00 fee if you elect to use their services, but why would I when their work is priced so much higher?

Sadly, this review follow a positive review of this company. When it came down to actually using them, they are terrible. Very simple request to have the work I requested completed as a priority service member, received a quote for the work assuming it included all the work we went over 2 minutes prior, guys left and told me all was complete. Come to find out, it was not. They were gone, and when I called he told me he didn't do it because he needed more information to get the job done and wasn't sure I wanted it. He told me he could come back another time and and would waive the service fee and would only charge me for the work. Yes, you read that right. He thought it was a favor to waive the standard call fee and only charge me for the work he would do. For the record it was a simple dimmer switch which I did myself. Run from Elite as fast as you can. All about the upsell, "priority" service contract, and unnecessary work to make a few more bucks. Wasted my money and am completely disappointed. If Eddie Stone shows up, cancel your appointment. Their pricing is higher than most even with the Priority service contract.

It went real well since the technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. The work included having to go through the attic, and he had it all done in 2 1/2 hours.

Ronnie, the electrician, troubleshot my issue, told me what it would cost to repair. I had the choice of accepting or rejecting the price. I accepted. He performed the work, explaining everything he was doing. Very professional and knowledgeable.

When I called their office they would not quote me a price for the work. The electrician was in my home for maybe 30 minutes and it was a standard breaker replacement. To charge me $450 for the work I felt was extremely high and I would not work with them again.

I called the customer service number provided on this site and spoke to Rosie. I explained my situation and she immediately scheduled a service call for Monday between 9AM and 12PM. Mark arrived at 9:30 AM and I explained my problem. He immediately went to my panel and discovered the double-tap. Mark was very professional and explained in detail why the double-tap existed and what could be done to correct it and how much it would cost to do the work. As for my breaker for the well pump tripping, Mark troubleshooted and discovered a problem with the well pump electrical feed panel. It had been wired incorrectly and was old and brittle, literraly breaking into small pieces while he was troubleshooting it! Again, he explained everything he would need to do to replace and re-wire the box and gave me a fair price. Needless to say I authorized both repairs and once Mark finished the job about 2 1/2 hours later, everything was working perfectly, but best of all, Elite Electric saved me from having my insurance cancelled!! I was Told they would be here between 9-12. No call saying they would be late. Got a call at 12:13 that it would be 12-2. He showed up at 1:15. I needed a sprinkler pump hard wired to electric box which was fully accessible to electric panel on opposite side of wall. A hole would be needed to drill thru wall, a breaker and a shut off switch. Quote was $697! For a job which would take 2-3 hrs and minimal parts needed!! I paid the stupid $49 service call, but they should have to pay me for 4 hours of my time, that I stayed home waiting on them!! My time is as important as theirs!! The company sent an email and totally reversed how they handled everything! Thanks....appreciate your help!

I was very uncomfortable with this provider. He stated that he could not do the work I requested due to drywall, no running water and no A/C unit. I explained that I just purchased the home via foreclosure and just wanted the electrical panel labeled. He kept asking questions that were not related to the work I needed done.

Mark from Elite came over on Wednesday afternoon, 11/4. He explained everything that would be required to hang the sconces on concrete. I knew it was going to be somewhat complicated, costly, and take many hours. I have had a few homes and know what certain jobs will cost. I figured before he showed up that the job would fall between $800 and $1,100. He explained that the final price would in no way differ from what was quoted that day. The quote was $950.00 Mark and Jessie (his apprentice) came over and finished the job today. I felt so comfortable having these two polite, delightful, and intelligent men in my home that I went out and did an hours worth of errands while they were working. I was concerned about the sconces being out of balance. I am very picky. Before the holes were drilled, they held the sconces in different places on the wall above the sliders. Both of these guys have good aesthetic eyes. I made a choice and Mark felt they would be too close together; he felt they should be farther apart. He got one sconce, Jessie got the other and placed them farther apart. It was the perfect spot. I can't say enough positive things about Elite, Mark, and Jessie. If you want your electrical job done right the first time, call these people; you will not be disappointed.

Went really well, a bit expensive, but I'm satisfied with the service.

Service was fine. They came right away. They were prompt, courteous and polite. They were great.

8/26 - I contacted Kate to cancel contract and she asked me to email the cancellation request and she would cancel the contract and refund for the remaining months unused. So I sent email to address she provided and did not hear back from her nor did I get the refund. 10/27 - I called again and spoke with Nancy who told me that Kate no longer worked there and after explaining my reason for calling, said that she will have Karen (the office manager) return my call. 11/10 - Still no calls or refund from Elite. I called to s/w Karen and she told Jessica that she could not speak with me because she was on her cell phone. Then Jessica said she would Guarantee that Karen call me back today however I did not hear from her yet again! I will keep you updated on any progress! I would NOT recommend anyone using this company! 11/14 - FINALLY Rec'd refund after many phone calls and aggravation. After that experience, I would be very hesitant to use them again.

I purchased this AC tune up as part of an Angie's special deal. I noticed my electric bills were running higher than prior years and spoke with the AC technician about the various causes. He did a thorough assessment of my entire AC system and discovered our new programmable thermostat had been programmed incorrectly. He took the time and effort to review the thermostat manual to make sure all the settings were correct. He was very prompt, professional and courteous. I would definitely use this company in the future and recommend them to others without hesitation.
