He did a diagnosis of the situation and fixed the problem (main sewer line clog), as well as offering advice on prevention of future problems. Phil was professional and pleasant. It's nice to find a technician who takes his job seriously! Will call again for future projects. Prices are reasonable.

Anthony responded right away and we had Jim (a very knowledgeable and professional plumber) wheel in an auger and clean out the drain. It took some time but he got the job done. + 0 moreI had a shut off valve that continued to slowly leak even when turned off. Darrell showed up within the hour. Due to the type of valve, it was necessary to cut open the wall to access the pipes. This was done so neatly that it was very easy for me to repair the drywall. Darrell was extremely professional and very pleasant. I am always interested in how to do things and, as he was working, he even explained to me all the steps involved in soldering copper pipe.
Description of Work: Replaced both shut off valves for washing machine. Cleaned out very slow bathtub drains.

+ -1 moreIt went ok, but I wasn't happy with the price. First of all, I told them I found them on Angie's list, and their ad said I would get a 10% discount. I forgot to mention the discount to them, but since I told them I found them on Angie's List I assumed they would apply that to my bill. They came while I was at work and my wife was home and dealt with them. She said they weren't even there an hour and the bill was $460. With parts and labor I figure the work was worth about $250. They charge by the job and not the hour. We supplied the kitchen faucet and they charged $165. Come on! I could have done this part myself, but my wife talked me into letting them do it. I asked for some recommendations from my community bulletin board, and next time I will listen to them
Description of Work: I called them to fix the faucet in our bathtub and put a new faucet in our kitchen sink. They needed to replace broken cartridge on our bathtub faucet.

The owner, Anthony Fioretto, along with his plumber came out to my house in the pouring rain to assess the situation & walked me through every step of the process that would restore my plumbing. Prices were fair & stayed within my budget. I had to have two visits plus a septic pump out and Mr. Fioretto kept me appraised of the estimated times of arrival. I can't tell you how amazing these two men were! I would hire them again and again and recommend their services to everyone I know...
Description of Work: Plumbing/Septic: Clogged sewage drain/pump septic tank 1000G. I called for a clogged sewage drain after I researched all the DIY solutions. Snake toilet-Check, Check roof vent-Check...so I knew this was something more. Called Quality Drain Solutions on a Friday morning, left a message & got a call back in 6 minutes. Set up an evaluation for Monday afternoon. The owner & his plumber arrived in the pouring rain to assess the situation & explain all of the steps of action very clearly. The clog was released initially & it was determined there was a break in the pipe leading into the septic tank. A pump out was also in order...All fees for services were determined and work was scheduled at the earliest possible time. We did find that the previous owner allowed shoddy work & the sewage pipe wasn't even connected properly, the filter had come off and the tank hadn't been pumped in YEARS! We were scheduled for a pump out, as soon as that was done, the plumber arrived did his part & we were back in business (pun intended)! I am very pleased and would hire Quality Drain Solutions again!

+ -1 moreInitially only the toilet repair and faucet replacement comprised the work order. When Phil checked under the sink, both he and I saw a leak of black water. He replaced the faulty valve. He did caution me that the other water valves might also be at risk due to gasket wear (19 year old house). He was careful not to hard sell me but wanted me to be aware of a potential problem. Given the importance of the valves needed to turn off the water in case of a leak as well as the potential of black water flooding because the valves could not be shut with deteriorating gaskets, I decided to have all 10 of the water valves replaced. He was prompt and thorough.

+ -1 moreQuick response, professional and courteous as far as phone correspondence with Anthony. I had been told by granite company that it would cost about $150-$200 for plumbing connection. Same faucet/disposal going back in. Phil showed up, looked at job and said it would be $415 for job. Decided this was too much. He tried to get a service call charge of $65 which was never mentioned to me prior to visit. I found this to be unacceptable after no mention was made of that in the beginning. If it had been, I would have asked approximately how much to expect the job would be.
Description of Work: Scheduled appointment for installation/connection of kitchen sink back to plumbing after disconnected for new granite countertop.

+ -1 moreI thought it was expensive because all he did was replace a faucet on a pipe and that was it and charged me the money. I could have done that myself, but then again, I was not living here at that time so I did not have the tools. The worst part of my experience was not knowing that it was going to cost that much. I was unaware of the final price. The price was not good at all. It was too expensive. They knew what they were doing. They put on the faucet that did not leak and that was it. It was perhaps five minutes and it was just an ordinary grade faucet. Their responsiveness was alright.
Description of Work: We bought a Big Deal for Quality Drain Solutions. It was $125 for the outdoor hose washer replacement.

They respond quickly, arrive when they say they will, and clean up when they're done. They removed the leaky water heater, and replaced it with a new larger one (I went from 40 gal to 50 gal) and made a few other modifications to the installation to bring it up to code.
