He does excellent work. He is reasonable and we will be using him again.

The first one done was the guest bath which had an existing shower. The work went well until he covered the drain hole half way with the floor tiles and placed a big grill plate over the remaining hole that was hooked on by two prongs. My daughter came to visit the interim week between projects. She slipped on the brass plate and struck her right knee against the wall. When we picked up the plate we saw that two prongs had been removed to make the other two prongs fit the hole. I obtained two proper drain covers at Home Depot. When he came back on 11/18/13 to do the master bath I informed him of my dissatisfaction and requested he install the drain covers I bought and to replace the one in the guest bath.The second bath was a horror of attitude, yelling, argumentation. He completed the work on 11/213 charging me an extra $100.00 for replacing the floor tiles in the guest shower, building a walll to cover water pipes, and installing handicap grab bars. Because he could NOT remove the tub, it cost me an extra $90.00 and $95.00 to have the drain hole on the master bath moved. Now the grout in the master shower is falling out. There are several areas that were not grouted properly, and the caulking used to seal the sill he built is cracked and pulled away from the wall. He was called on both his business phone and his cell phone with no response. I managed to get him once. He said he was on a job close by and "no problem"would", he would "stop by on (his) way home". He failed to show or call. I left three messages on his voice mail and phone recorder with no response at all. The condition in the master bath is deteriorating daily.

I am not sure what happened. Darryl did a fantastic job and of very good quality. He also put a bench in our master shower that looks great and is sturdy. The job did cost more than quoted but we ran into unexpected work in that the walls of one of the showers needed to be replaced. We were very happy with Darryl and paid him in full, mistakenly. We had to install our vanity cabinets which meant he had just 4 pieces of base board tile that needed to be put on after the vanities. Darryl said just call him, he will stop on by and finish the job when we were ready. Well, after leaving messages for him over a period of 3 months to call me back to set up a time to do this our phone calls remain unanswered. He simply will not call back. I started to call him in May, it is now the end of August and he did not return one call. So disappointing because we thought this guy was great and planned on using him to tile the rest of the house. Hard to believe he would not put on 4 pieces of tile after an otherwise great job but I won't use him again if this is how he does business. If you do use him, do not pay in full, even if it is something as small as 4 pieces of tile that need to be put on. My mistake. I previously gave him an ?A? but had to revise this because he did not finish the job as promised and paid for.

The person who came was very responsive and did a very good job. He showed up on time and I was very satisfied with him.

Absolutely beautiful work by a gifted "artist"... The tile looks beautiful, grout lines are even, and I just can't say enough about the fact that he actually calls back and shows up on time. I couldn't be more pleased, really. Daryle is polite and professional, and very neat...cleans up after himself. His work is better than any other tile guy I've used. I gave him artistic freedom..he has great ideas.
