Gregory Johnston is a SCAMMER, THIEF and LIAR! When I originally met with him at my home to get an estimate I asked him what his services include. Gregory Johnston told me that he and his guys mow, weed wack and edge the whole property. I then asked him how often they will come out and he told me "Every 10-14 days". I have a very small yard and he told me he would charge $60 a month since my property is so small and the entire back yard doesn't even really have grass due to shade 24 hours a day. I thought this all sounded great because I needed someone to keep up with the yard regularly since I was in the process of moving down to Fort Pierce from Pennsylvania and I needed the house maintained so it looked lived in. I paid him up front for the first 3 months and I can back to FL only here and there-but everything seemed as though he was keeping up on the job. My sister then bought a house a few blocks away and her situation was the same-so I suggested Gregory and his team (WHAT A MISTAKE). He told her the same thing-quoted a price and agreed to come every 10-14 days. We both paid him another 6 months in advance. We started to come back to FL more often and the grass was never cut. At one point my sister's back yard was so long it went up to my knees (no joke!). I would call Greg and ask when he was coming because the lawns looked terrible-not cut at all. He would usually come out shortly after I called and complained. I came to realize that he never cut the grass because he knew we were out of town. Then when I called he would come right away after realizing we were here and could see he wasn't doing the jobs we paid him for. It got to a point where my mother was staying in FL to watch the houses while my sister and I wrapped everything up in PA. My mother constantly called me and asked what was up with the landscaper because he was literally never coming. So she called him for me to ask and he told her he only agreed to come out once a month. WHAT?! LIAR! So my mom told me and I called him immediately. Gregory Johnston played dumb. He pretended like he never agreed to come out regularly but only agreed to cut just enough to keep up on code enforcement. Which was never the agreement! At this time I decided to cut my losses from the previous months and asked him if he could return the remaining 2 months of pay that my sister and I paid him since we won't need his services anymore (this happened at the end of May and we paid him until the end of July-since June hadn't even started yet we wanted the pay from June and July back since he didn't complete the work yet? He agreed to refund my sister and I from the coming months of June and July. Of course he never came to refund me like he agreed. I started calling and he would always tell me he would send it out the next day-he never did. Then I stared through text because I wanted proof-I have texts from him where he admits to owing the money and he kept promising to send it out. TWO MONTHS LATER AND HE STILL HAS NOT RETURNED THE MONEY AND IS DODGING US. HE WONT EVEN REPLY ANYMORE! Gregory Johnston is a SCAMMER, a THIEF and a LIAR! NEVER do business with this man-he will probably STEAL HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS from you like he did from me and my sister.
