Showed up when he said he would and the work looks great. Dug up the 18 x 12 area and redid it.

It went excellent. Robert was awesome.

Robert is wonderful. He found a great solution that was within our budget and executed the work perfectly. We liked him and his work so much that we're going to hire him to build us a block garage! He's honest, reliable and hard working. We now have a beautiful colored concrete patio outside of our screen porch that is stable and strong and we can do anything we want with it in the future--it's strong enough for a room or just to use as a patio. Robert did a great job and we can't wait to work with him again!

When I questioned him about the price, because people in my neighborhood had had a similar work done. Everyone in my community has single wide driveway. When I questioned him, he said we should go look at that work. The driveway is wider, but it is cracking, flaking, and crumbling on the side. He said it was wider but it was awful quality. He did the work, and it is fantastic. My whole neighborhood is jealous. His responsiveness was very good, and he was very professional.

After several bidders, Robert began doing several projects for our community over the past couple of months. This project are listed above. He works alone often and calls in assistances as needed. He is a hard work and works quickly. I particularly like his finishing work as he goes the extra to have a quality finished job. Much of his type of work requires phases (removal, setup, pouring, finishing), so work may be delayed 1-2 days between phases, as he handles other jobs. However the finished work is very good. He is easy to work with.

I would highly recommend Robert for all your cement needs. I had him do a non-structural slab and I was very pleased. Will use him for all my cement needs.

The work was performed in a professional manner. It was done on time for the agreed price.

Everything went like clock work. Robert is not only a very professional individual but also a really and quot;goodand quot; guy. Robert helped us lay out the fire pit and kept us informed about how the entire process would proceed. I would definitely use Robert's services again.

The driveway is much larger than most--being about 6000 square ft. He removed the old concrete, excavated about 12 inches of soil, lined the new driveway with a curb 12 x 8 concrete with rebar----filled with 8 inches of road grade aggregate, compacted it, topped with sand then laid in the paving stones. The curbing was trowled to look like tone and the entire driveway was filled and compacted with finishing sand. All this was done even though horrible weather (21 inches of rain) interfered with the effort. Robert had the excavated soil moved to areas of my yard needing soil due to erosion (about 50 yards) then leveled and graded those areas to ready them for new sod and plantings. Robert has over 30 years of experience in concrete, stucco, brick and stone work---skills that are difficult to find in south florida. He was the only contractor who quoted the job who actually quoted the correct process for putting in a brick paver driveway--all the others quoted shortcut operations that would not have resulted in the best quality outcome. In my opinion he is an honest, hard working and conscientious contractor who will deliver quality work.

For starters, Robert is very professional and prompt with his communication. Most contractors won't respond to you when you say this is a small job, but Mr Riccardo was eager to do the job and was more than helpful in assisting me in my decision between concrete or pavers. He came over when he said he would and gave me a fair estimate and then came back to show me paver samples. I really liked his sincerity and his desire to produce a quality job within a mutually convenient time frame. His workers were very professional ...and fast. Robert was there throughout the job and ensured that the job was done to my satisfaction. All excess debris was hauled away and the workarea was cleaned up great. It's too bad more contractors don't follow his example. He did an awesome job.

We were a little concerned when Robert arrived later than we expected on start day but we came to realize that he was going to do an excellent job even if the weather went bad delaying the completion. We think Robert is both an excellent craftsman and a person that takes pride in the appearance of the project such that the more we left things up to his judgement, the better the results.

Did the stucco repair on the wall twice. The result was horrible and had to be redone by someone else. At no time was I satisfied or did anyone including my realtor approve the repair. All the realtor said was that some people wouldn't pay attention to it. When he did the stucco border, it was missing stucco in a few spots. I left messages on his home phone asking him to come back and fill it in. He didn't return any of my calls. I also called him repeatedly for days since he has no VM on his cell phone and he clearly wasn't taking my calls. I just got finished paying him $400 for something that he promised to come back and touch up if there were any issues. Once again, I had to hire someone else to fix this. The border terrible, and he should be willing to come back and correct any deficiencies. Perhaps he felt since I was dissatisfied with his stucco repair on my wall, that I would ask him to re-do the border. He already was paid for the job, and apparently did not want to come back. In my opinion, this contractor was irresponsible and unwilling to finish the job. He was paid very well and the job was not up to acceptable standards. MY RESPONSE TO THE COMPANY'S COMMENTS: Company Response: Contractors Beware! This customer is very difficult to work for! (THAT'S CORRECT, I EXPECT THE JOB TO BE DONE PROPERLY). When I first met him, he bad mouth all five of the contractors he hired before me: the painter, the concrete contractor who did his patio deck, and the second concrete contractor who had to re-do his deck and two stucco contractors before me. (THIS STATEMENT IS INCORRECT. THE PAINTERS DID A FABULOUS JOB. THE FIRST CONCRETE DECK COMPANY DESIGNER CONCRETE DID TERRIBLE WORK [read my review on Angie's List], AND YES, HE WAS THE THIRD CONTRACTOR TO WORK ON THAT WALL). I spent over 40 hours fixing his small repairs that he claimed the contractors before me did not do correctly (HE CAME BACK TWICE FOR A TOTAL OF PERHAPS TWO HOURS AND EVEN THAT WAS NOT SUFFICIENT TO FIX THE UNSATISFACTORY JOB HE DID). He has called me all hours of the day, evenings and even on weekends for advice and consultations (NOT EXACTLY TRUE. I WAS TRYING TO GET HIM TO RETURN MY CALLS BECAUSE HE DID NOT DO THE JOB PROPERLY). A few times he went over my work and I had to go back to the job and re-do it (THERE IS NOTHING TRUE IN THIS STATEMENT, IN MY OPINION). Upon completing his work, he said said and quot;I was like an artistand quot;, even his realtor agent loved and approved the job! (THERE IS NOTHING TRUE IN THIS STATEMENT IN MY OPINION AND THIS NEVER HAPPENED). I have gone above and beyond to accomodate this customer! (HE PROVIDED NO FOLLOW UP AND NO SERVICE AFTER HE WAS PAID $400 FOR A SIMPLE STUCCO BORDER. HE WAS ADVISED IT WAS INCOMPLETE. I WANTED TO PAY HIM AFTER HE WAS COMPLETELY FINISHED. BUT, HE ADVISED ME HE DESPERATELY NEEDED THE MONEY TO COVER SOME CHECKS HE WROTE. I FELT SORRY FOR HIM, SO I HELPED HIM OUT). I strongly believe this customer will not be happy until he gets something done for free from his contractors! (QUITE THE CONTRARY. I HAVE PAID EVERYONE FOR THEIR WORK AND DUE TO POOR WORKMANSHIP SUCH AS THIS, HAVE, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS HAD TO PAY TWO OR THREE TIMES TO GET SOMETHING DONE CORRECTLY. THIS IS ONE EXAMPLE OF WORK THAT HAD TO BE REPEATED BY SOMEONE ELSE, AT A COST OF $300) His unwillingness to provide follow up and the devious way, in my opinion, he got me to pay him before the job was really complete earns him a solid F for his work ethic and poor customer service. Advice to Mr. Ricardo: Do not accept projects that you don't have the expertise or willingness to complete properly (the repair you did on my wall). When someone pays you to do a job, (the border on the patio) make sure you return their phone calls and provide follow up service if there is a minor problem. All of this could have been prevented. I recommend that you don't hire him. IMO, his work is sloppy and he is incompetent.
