All Indian River Fence

It was slow going and frustrating. It took over three months before the installation started. And this was the time frame we got from three other estimates due to a hurricane that hit Florida in September. Frustrating because the owner Pete Peters required $1000 down payment to put us on a three month waiting list. So for three months we were concerned that this company may skip town with the money. Three months later we had to initiate several calls and text messages to find out when the install would start. Mr Peters did not reply to our messages or return our call. So my husband had to drive to the address to try to speak with Mr Peters in person. Thankfully they did live at the address on their proposal/contract. Soon after we received a call from Mrs Peters with a date for the install. But we had to call again when they failed to show up on the scheduled date. I told Mr Peters that I would be rating his service on Angie’s List. Another date was scheduled and when the workers came they only completed a small section and stopped saying their supplier shipped the wrong aluminum fence. And they needed the next part of the payment to pay for the fencing material. The $2000 had to be in cash because Mr Peters doesn’t have a checking account so he only deals with cash. I don’t remember him saying that initially because our down payment was with a check. So my husband luckily was off that day and went to the bank with Mr Peters to cash a check. There were other problems once the install was completed but they were quickly taken care of because the final payment would go to the workers. Again my husband had to go to the bank to get cash to make the final payment. Finally almost four weeks after the install was started the fence and gates were completed. All Indian River was the only company that agreed to give us a temporary fence so our dog would have some freedom running around in the yard while we waited three months for the permanent fence. Even so I can’t recommend this company because I had to call several times to get them to put up the temporary fencing. The temporary fence was not worth the aggravation and non-professionalism of this company.

I was promised my fence 4-6 weeks after signing contract. The company made numerous appointment to install the fence and never showed. This is a rental so I’m not in the house. I called owner Pete and asked him if he showed up for one of the appointments he said yes I’m here installing your fence right now. I asked the tenants and they said nobody was there at the house. Then one day they showed up and installed one post and left. After finally installing the fence late one night they phone harassed me the next morning for the final payment. They said I couldn’t inspect the fence, I need to leave work right now and pay them in cash only. They emailed, text and phone harassed me the entire day while I was working. I cant say enough bad about this company and advise anyone needing a fence in the PSL area to avoid them like the plaque.
