So, I was going to let the review end at my husband's review (Mike C.) However, I will NOT stand for lies and false claims. When I communicated via text chat with Adam's Pest Control, prior to hiring them. I advised them that we had tried ONE company before them and that they were the SECOND people we were reaching out to for our pest issue. At NO point prior to hiring Adam's Pest Control did they advise that it would take "up to 30 days (and "sometimes up to THREE months") to get control of any issues. This is why my husband stated that it is absolutely ridiculous. We can go back and forth with he-said/she-said, but it is pointless. Instead, let's go on whats in WRITING: In your LAWN contract it clearly states that it may take up to 90 days for control of pests in LAWN. Nowhere in the contract for in-home pest control does it state anything regarding 30 days. They also claimed they treat attics- yet technician made no attempt to even go in the attic. Even after explaining to technician that we had found a nest underneath the air handler in the attic several months ago, which is what initially inspired us to contact the first pest control company. As you can see in the screen shot, they stated: "Yes we treat the attic, and you don't have to ahve the inside treated. However, you're always covered for it." They claimed that the technician would be able to advise us of the chemicals used. However, as you can see in the screen shots, company told us the following "We cannot provide that as we have over 200 products and the technician uses each product specific to each homes pest issues and pest species. Products, and chemicals are PEST SPECIFIC, not all ants are treated the same, or with the same products. " Adam's pest control tried to tell us that their technician said we had a Ghost ant problem. When I supplied the proof that what we have are in fact black carpenter ants indoors, Adam's suddenly claimed their technician treated for ALL ants indoors. However, their products are supposedly species specific or as they call it "designer" products? They also claimed: "Yes, the technician will find the source/nest of the pest." However, this was NOT done. Technician came out to do the first "initial" treatment on 7/15/2022, it is now 7/29/2022. We paid for a full month/initial month of service. However, after several difficulties and lack of success with Adam's, my husband called a few days ago to cancel. Then today, just 14 days after start of service, they sent a technician out unannounced to retrieve the rodent bait stations. At the very least, we expected to have these bait stations until the end of the month that we PAID for. So, we paid for a full 30 days of service, yet Adam's comes to claim their bait stations and prevents us from being able to contact them again- even though technically we still have an additional 16 days of "unlimited service calls?" Right.. If what we paid was only for INITIAL service, then that is something your company needs to clarify UP FRONT. Instead of stating that even if we canceled, we would get the 30 days still. I communicated constantly with Adam's Pest Control as we saw no change. To the contrary, we started finding millipedes in our home which we have NEVER once seen indoors or outdoors in our home. The evidence will be in the screen shots (if this website allows for pictures), including a photo that they sent us today when I questioned them regarding this false claim in their response to my husband's review. This was after lack of success with a prior company which will remain unnamed AND lack of success with Adam's, when I advised them that it has been THREE months with TWO separate companies (Unnamed & Adam's.) With prior company, we did not have Fire Ant issues or issues outside, this was NEW. We merely had issues with black ants within our home. Adam's Pest Control has proven to lack professionalism in many regards, but especially in stating lies and also false assumptions regarding us and a prior pest control company. We had zero issue with prior pest control company and our technician was honest and kind. We sought out a different company after they had told us their chemicals were pet-friendly and safe for humans, but when their technician arrived, he stated that he wouldn't feel comfortable spraying in our home with a small child and small dogs. So, we wanted to find another honest company that would have pet-safe/child-safe methods to be able to spray within the home and help eliminate the problem. However, this only created further problems inside and with the company themselves. We were hoping to have success with this company because we saw they had 4.7 stars. Which we find rather interesting since with more research into the reviews, Adam's has an unbelievable about of 1-star reviews. Regardless, we would not consider using them again.

They are really professional. They work with me on pricing. They were the only willing to work with me on pricing! They guy really knew what he was doing. They did an excellent job! So much so, I only hired for 1 job but because of their service had them back to do the inside of my home.

I have been a customer of Adam's for over 5 years. I am beyond words for how I was treated by Michael who claims he is the owner of this company. I have nothing but weeds in my yard.  They send out a new service man who told me that I was not paying for weed control in my back yard. This was the first time I was hearing this. They claim that my backyard was not regular grass when I hired them but they are wrong. It was. Over the years I kept asking why I had so many weeds and was told that I was over watering. I have city water and I can't afford to over water. Over the last year I was taking care of my Mom who had cancer and was not able to stay on top of them and now my whole back yard is nothing but weeds which has now spread to my front yard. The owner Michael called me and I must say that he is the rudest person I have ever spoke with. He bluntly told me to go find another company because there was no way of making me happy???  All I was asking for is the service I was paying for. I paid the same amount as everyone else. I don't believe this after all of these years and after recommending them to countless clients I am being treated this way.  I should also tell you that my neighbor experienced the same problem and now has another company.  Very unprofessional.

We do have a signed contract that states we are only able to have your front yard on the weed control program because if we did anything for weed control in your backyard most your yard would die off. We have controlled the weeds for your front yard with no issues in that area; we eliminate fire ants, flea control, and provide FREE services calls while you are a customer with us. In 2015 we did receive the SAME complaint from [Member Name Removed] by E-mail on 11/18/2015, we take ALL complaint very seriously because we strive for 100% customer satisfaction and sent Susan out right away to go over any concerns, the contract, and what services we are providing and the next day 11/19/2015 received an E-mail for Mrs. [Member Name Removed] below: "Good Morning, Just wanted to let you know that Susan came back out to the house this morning. She was very concerned that I was not happy with the service and has taken care of the issues I had. She's great and I appreciate her taking time to come back out and explain everything to me. Thank you again for the great service. [Member Name Removed] We apologize for any misunderstanding about your services or contract. We value ALL of our customer feedback and may recommend for a customers to use another company to ensure you are 100% satisfied even if that may not be with Adams. I did recommend that you find another service since we could not meet your needs."

Checked for any openings that might admit squirrels or other larger critters. Found only small cracks that likely only bats or insects could enter. Determined that fecal droppings were from bats, and not recent. Advised us to apply caulking to small cracks easily found because they admit daylight. I rated B in responsiveness because I felt the technician would be calling back to make appointment the same day that I called Adam's HQ, but he did call early the next day. He was extremely courteous and thorough in his explanation of our situation.

Adams is a superb, environmentally sensitive, pet  aware, and technology superior company. They are outstanding at what they do and hire great representation. Our representative is Susan and tell them you heard about her on Angie's List and they will either get her or somebody just as good to help you. 

We have been using Adams for several years now.

In the original time period, we looked for a provider that would not just spray pesticides about in a general manner, especially in or near the home. I used to work in College for one of the major providers for pest and extermination in the country and this typical exterminator was irresponsible and undertrained. Other companies routinely used too much pesticides for the job and mixed the chemicals.  Then I went to work in an industry where they measure pesticide contamination and really was educated about carcinogens and water pollution.

Adams is careful and respects the environment. They spray only when the must and in our case, they were able to use small amounts of local food to take care of the pests.So an exterminator/ pest control company is not just that. They have a range of responsible actions. Adams listens and uses responsible techniques based on experience to rid your home or business of the issue. They are a great company and our representative is fantastic. She calls the night before she arrives to let us know she's coming. Then she knocks on the door to let us know she's here, sprays and treats where necessary, cleans the cobwebs from our garage and eves, and leaves. She does a tremendous job. We have not seen a pest since the day after she arrived. I feel good because the job has been accomplished and it's been done responsibly and the way I asked it to be done.  

An Outstanding service company, I would never use anybody else.
