Well. He knew exactly what the issue was and remedid it in 15 mins. I felt the price was a little too high but you're never in a position to comparison shop at a time like that.

Repair went without any problems

ound I called A & J Appliance Repair service because the Icemaker in a KitchenAid Refrigerator had stopped working. I called about 8:00 PM and the owner answered the phone. He said he was going to be in my area in the AM and He could stop by around 8:00 AM. He was there promptly at the time specified and immediately surveyed the problem. He had the part on his truck and told me what the price would be. He installed the new icemaker and installed a Filter I had purchased from KitchenAide. He proceeded to clean the refrigeration coils. His work was very neat and when he left he left the house like it had been before he came. Tony was a very pleasant person and I enjoyed having him in my home. If I need an appliance repaired in the future, A & J would be the Servicer I would call without hesitation.

The repairman came in the timeframe quoted, just 24 hours after I called. Looked at the washer, tested it, told us the "real deal" which we consider most valuable. Gave us advice to use it until it fails, no danger of leaking or ruining clothes, advised us to not purchase another front loader, because you can not adjust the water level, and that is what ruins them. Told us to fix it would be just under the cost of a new one (we really appreciated this!). Then he made us a list of good quality washers, gave advise on what and where to buy it. Charge was less than quoted, awesome! He was very friendly and we had a great experience. Picked them right off the top of Angie's list, worth every penny! It's so nice to not get ripped off, $70 was well spent for the advise that salespeople are not going to give us. All of our appliances are old, and we will not hesitate to call them again, they even put a sticker near the washer so I could remember them, he must know I always lose stuff! :-)

1 and a half year old dishwasher leaking from right front door. Called A& J Appliance Repair because of all the positive reviews but my experience was quite different. First, he made appt. to come at 1 p.m. and came at 10:45 a.m., I was still in the shower. He arrived with an assistant, he immediately asked my husband if someone fell on the door, he said the door was bent and he proceeded to jiggle it back and forth. He removed gasket and put it back in again, then tightened door panel, said he could put in a new gasket but wouldn't guarantee the work. He then bad-mouthed the manufacturer, saying that they sold them in packages and they were all garbage. He asked to use the bathroom, which I've never had a repairman ask and he came back in the kitchen, opened the refrigerator and slapped a logo sticker on the butter keeper. At some point in time, that neither my husband or myself was aware of, he also made his way to the laundry room and slapped another logo sticker on my dryer. We paid 69,95 for his unprofessional behavior and bad manners, we will NEVER use this person or company again. I called the manufacturer and they extended my warranty for 30 days, even though it is 5 months out of warranty, it will cover the cost of another service call and parts and labor for this repair.

A&J took care of the problem in a timely manner within the same day and far less than SEARS that took 5 days and still couldn't get the work done. A&J and Marcus great job and thanks for getting the machine fixed. It was worth every dollar we paid you. We were able to do laundry and have no issue after you left. Thanks again.

Efficiently, courteously solved the problem. Came punctually as promised the day after my phone request. Left everything clean and tidy , very reasonable charge for this senior person. Recommend A & J heartily, will gladly call them if a future need develops.

He came to my home and inspected the whole unit and it was in disrepair. He had a brand new one from the factory and was able to install it. He made sure it was working properly before he left. He explained everything well to me.

When the A & J came out, he analyzed the problem as heavy dust covering the coils causing the water line to the ice maker to freeze up This ice blockage caused water to backfeed into a condensation pan which overflowed into the bottom of the freezer. He installed a heating coil around the water line which would eliminate the problem in the future. As follow-up, he recommended we vacuum the coils yearly to maintain air flow. They were on time fixed it the day we called. The tech answered any questions we had and showed us what to look for if occurs again. The price was reasonable and he was polite. The price could always be lower but it was fair. Over a year and the refrigerator has not had any problems.

I worked with him five or six time and he did various appliances. I basically changed all my appliances in the last two years. He kept them running until I could save the money to do it. He was really prompt. He finds a way to squeeze you in right away. He gives written quotes ahead of time. He gives fair and competitive estimates. He is very straightforward and I appreciate that. In each case, he has given me a full range of options about what will be best for my family's needs. When you explain to him what your deal is, he is very good at helping you make an educated decision.
