Was notified by my renters the deck attached to the back of the house was rotted to the point that it was unsafe. Found Stephen here on Angies list. Stephen was driving by the house when I called to make an appointment. He stopped while I was on the phone. He talked with the renters and myself as he looked at the deck. Stephen then took measurement, made recommendations, and gave me a price. I live long distance from the house. Stephen was great working with me in this situation. Recognizing the unsafe condition, he started work right away. He sent me pictures throughout the process. The renters were so happy with the work, they renewed their 2 year lease 6 months early.

Stephen came out and blew our minds on what he could do for our back yard. Originally I wanted a quote on just the pool pavers. He came back with an idea that tied the pool to the back yard via rebuilding the deck and using an alternative for the pool area surface. Stephen noted the condition of our existing deck as unsafe and he was right. We agreed on his design and day by day it all came together. We went from a single tier deck to a three tier deck that spilled down to our pond incorporating our flag pole and taking out part of the existing fence to let us appreciate the nature of the pond. He noticed we had a fire pit on one side of the yard and incorporated it into the middle of the deck area. We have spent many hours enjoying our back yard since its completion in March. The kids love roasting marshmallows when its cool out. Steph really knows what he's doing with back yards and met the deadlines he promised. He is also reasonable on pricing for superb work. It came out great!

Stephen did an excellent job of installing paver walkways and a paver patio in my yard. He was meticulous about every aspect of his work. He is trustworthy. I have hired him several times because I know he works to the highest standards of professionalism.
