Nomad Moving Company

Have to mention Kelly in the office was excellent working with me setting up the appt. Larry & Miguel from Nomad Moving were amazing. Once I showed them what was needed to be placed in my rented moving truck they loaded every square inch of it like a jigsaw puzzle. No wasted space left. These guys hustled the entire time. I have another truck needing to be loaded in the future and no doubt I will be calling Nomad Moving Co again for help.

Amazing. From start to finish they (Ash & Miguel) were professional and fun. They work by the hour, but they certainly didn't work slow. They were done two hours before schedule. They were amazing. Would hire again and recommend without question.

It's been almost 3 weeks since you guys moved us and I am finally getting around to writing the review I have wanted to do since then. Drew and Challen showed up right on time and introduced themselves and asked how I was. I blurted out "I AM NERVOUS!" They smiled and assured me that I would see they were going to make sure things went smoothly and I would be very happy. I have had bad experiences with movers and even though I thoroughly researched this company this time I knew that was no guarantee. I am disabled and all I could do was to sit by and watch and stay out of their way with my dog sitting on my lap. What I observed was two guys who work VERY well together, joking along with each other and working out each detail of the plan in a very professional manner. In no time I could see they knew what they were doing and took many precautions with my belongings. They packed up that truck in such a time I could not believe it. Then it was on to the new house and there I sat on the new front porch with my dog in my lap again and watched as they unloaded and brought everything inside. Drew had asked where I wanted everything to go before he unloaded the truck and they went about placing things as I had requested. A few times Drew came out and had some suggestions about placing things a little differently because he noticed that I use a walker to get around and very nicely pointed out that I might not be able to get through with the placement of the furniture the way I had planned. He was absolutely right. Most other movers would never have bothered with that. I was very appreciative. These two were both such lovely men and really made this move an enjoyable day. AND to top it off they did it in such an efficient manner that they finished up earlier than the original estimate so the final cost was LESS than the estimate! How many movers do that!? I had such a great experience dealing with Gordon, Drew, Challen and in the office, Kelly, that I really wanted to make sure I did a review. So obviously to sum it up, I HIGHLY recommend Nomad Moving. You will be VERY glad you chose them. I sure am.

On time called to confirm. My two moving technicians were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Speedy loading and unloading but they tested my possessions with great care. And presented me with a bill that came in under estimate. I whole heartedly recommend this company. AAA+++

This was my third Nomad move. Completely satisfied every time. Owner (Gordon) is great to deal with and always sends me a top-notch crew. I will hire Nomad again.

Painless from the start. I was referred to them by another homeowner, and I couldn't be happier. Their office was easy to work with, and the two movers showed up with all the equipment they need right on time. They charge an hourly fee that starts when they pick up the first piece of furniture. Absolutely great move! I would definitely use them again for a move anywhere in North Pinellas or Pasco Counties. These are the guys you want.

The move went very well for a long distance move which is not my favorite thing to do. James and William packed some of my large pictures and lamps one day along with some things I just didn't get to and returned the next day to put it all on the truck. The estimate from Gordon was the best estimate I received, very fair and everyone hustled to get things done in the allotted time. Two days later (this was the agreed upon time) Gordon and James delivered all the items to North Carolina in excellent shape. All the people were friendly and nice and I would not hesitate to use them again if I had the need. I have all ready recommended them to some friends.

From the moment I called, my experience was top notch. From Heather who handled all my questions and gave me a fair quote, to Gordon who kept in touch with me to let me know when the guys would be arriving, to Andrew and Jason who handled my move. This company is the only company that was completely up front and honest about all charges. Andrew and Jason were extremely professional and very fast, but careful. They were also very personable and made moving fun. I would definitely use them again.

I've worked with many movers, but none better. Each team member took time to understand my needs. The crew was outstanding in every respect, in fact, they turned my pre-move nightmare into an extremely positive experience and fantastic result with zero loss, scratches or damage. Highly recommended. Moving service was provided by ANDREW and JUSTIN. These gentlemen were terrific. They were extremely punctual, professional, neat, and took great care of my furniture. They were also extremely pleasant and easy to work with. The move was provided without incident and in reasonable time. Best moving experience to date.

It was done quick and professionally. These guys knows exactly what needs to be done and provided blankets, and a hand truck to do the job. I would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

Great company to do business with!! This was the fourth time we call Nomad movers and, as usual, the arrived on time, moved all of our furniture and then proceeded to unload an extra storage pod for FREE of charge! They were professional and most accomodating. The move went extremely fast and there was no damage to anything. The workers know what to do and how to do it. They are also very polite. The agreed on price was what we were charged - no more. I heartily recommend Nomad Movers.

The men who showed up were very polite, hard workers. We were amazed how quickly they worked, especially since they were working by the hour. They kept asking what they could do, what they could take and kept moving constantly. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

The owner was very nice. The pricing was exactly what they said. But it was two kids, like 18-year-old and they didn't take care of everything as much as I would have liked. They dropped some piece of my furniture. I probably wouldn't use them again because I felt like the company had a couple of kids to do the job with nobody overseeing them.

There can be nothing more stressful than moving – well, maybe getting married, but it is in the top ten most stressful events that can occur in a person’s life. Being a military family, this has been my 23 move. It never gets easier, but this will be my last one since my husband is now retired from the Marine Corps. We purchased a home and began the arduous task of interviewing local movers. We interviewed about 5 different companies in the Tampa area looking for the best quality people as well as competitive pricing. For over 5 weeks – we took our time and really interviewed each and every company with much diligence especially since we were paying for this move--not the military. We have seen everything with movers – good and bad. We did not want a bad experience. If you are looking for hardworking movers that take their jobs seriously---look no further! We actually had to ask these guys to rest so they did not overheat with the high temperatures outside. There were no hidden fees, no charges for mileages and hidden destination fees. The owner of the company is the “real deal”. This is a family business that is run with professionalism and high ethics. They worked two full days and respected our property as if it were their own. Something I think consumers should provide that they usually don’t is – consider buying these men lunch and Gatorade. Or have ice cold water readily available. Movers are going to work harder for your family if you provide them food and drinks. Whenever we stopped to eat – we made sure they ate too. I think they really appreciated us taking care of them. Nomad would treat your possessions with the highest regard whether you fed them or not – I was just making a point that consumers should consider taking care of the people moving your precious items. I have nothing negative to say about Nomad. They never used their cell phones, took a smoke break or wasted any time. Nomad Movers will be the best bang for your buck. They were the most reasonably priced of all the movers in Tampa as well as the most professional we have ever dealt with – after 23 moves I can say this with complete confidence.
