He's one of these people very willing to work with you. He missed a week of mowing and he called me and told me he would have someone out that day.

This Company uses "Home Advisor" for their work. They indicated they were not on Angie's List because of the cost Angie's List charges. The So-called President (Dwayne) came to our home on 8/17 and said they were very busy but promised to come on 8/28. Although we needed to have our 20 or so bushes trimmed we decided to give this Company a chance. They never called or came over. I wouldn't recommend this Company to anyone, they are obvious a poor service provider (as many in the Tampa Area are). We decided to buy a hedge trimmer and do the work ourselves. We are Seniors who can't get around much these days but after contacting several providers it seems like this job was to small for them.

They do great work. They come a little early for me, but they do good work. In the winter time, their discipline seems to decline.

This company has always taken great care of my lawn. The owner is always very concerned about providing great customer service. I feel very comfortable discussing concerns with him and he is always prompt in returning my phone calls. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great lawn care.

That was A+ all the way. They did a great job. I will absolutely use them again.

Basically Lanis called me once and I wasn't at home. I called him and he said he would call me back when he was going to bring the mulch. I didn't hear from him for a month so, I called several times and finally got in touch with him. He claimed he had sent me emails, which he had not, and once again said he would call me back. Another month went by I never heard from him and never received my mulch! This man is a liar and when speaking with him acted like I was bothering him stating he was very busy! I would not recommend him to do any services. If he is so busy that he didn't need my business why is he even on Angie's List? I had to request a refund from Angie's List as he refused to give me one. Stay away from this service provider unless you just feel like throwing your money away.

Arrived to give estimate on time. Did work when they said they would. Did an excellent job. Well worth the money

I just cannot say enough about this company. When they see something that needs to be done as far as lawn work, they do not hesitate to take care of the situation. The entire crew is very pleasant to be around. Just a great group of people.

DC Lawn Services has been working for me for over two years and I found this service to be exceptionally proficient and professional in their dealings with me during that time. I was recently shocked to see someone give Dwayne and less than perfect rating. When I asked him about it today, I learned that it was a person he had never worked for or even knew. Some people will go to any length to make others look bad. Dwayne's crew arrives on time and doesn't leave until all the work has been done...no shortcuts and nothing left undone for another day. His 'hands-on' service works exceptionally well as I often have questions concerning landscaping and other issues I feel only he can answer. I recommend DC Lawn Services frequently to my neighbors.

Anticipating a trip to Indiana, I prepaid DC lawn service for June and July mowings. I went on my trip up north and stayed a few weeks longer than expected. When I returned I found my yard unmowed. Evidently, DC had decided to stop mowing after two weeks in August. When I got back at the end of August I called the owner to find out what happened and restart my the service and I was greeted with a less than friendly response by a man who displayed such a nasty disposition that I informed him that I would pay him for the two mowings they already had done and that I would no longer be in need of their services. I immediately sent him a check for the entire month of August even though he had only mowed twice with a little note simply saying how amazed I was that a man with such a terrible attitude could have any customers at all. Of course I'm sure his response to this will be a complete distortion of the truth.

Our lawns continue to be an embarrassment to us due to the numerous dead spots and out-of-control weeds after spending over $700 in lawn care treatment during 2015. Month after month of fungicide and other treatments have not made any changes. The owner has explained that due to tripling his business he cannot be on site to take care of problems beyond the usual mowing, trimming and other simple services. His mowing and trimming crew is very good and helpful. Without his direct on-site supervision, his crew is not qualified to manage lawn treatment services nor, apparently, is the owner. Every neighbor seems to have solved the problem of lawn treatment so it appears we shall seek a qualified lawn treatment and lawn care service effective October 1.

Dwayne was quite responsive after I called for an estimate. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the job as agree. I would not hesitate to use DC Lawn Services again. I like the fact that Dwayne works along side his crew to make sure the job is done as agreed.

Dawayne and his folks were up to the challenge; we'd bought a home that's yard was severely neglected. Dawayne gave us a reasonable estimate (which grew, some, as we continued to request additions). They ripped out a bunch of overgrown stuff immediately so that we could put in a fence. They then had to wait a while to finish, and they were super busy at the time. It was really an all-summer project with about 4-5 days, here and there, of intense activity (pulling out or putting in and tree trimming). We had some glitches and misunderstandings along the way but Dawayne kept coming back until we were satisfied; and we are. We think it looks beautiful now. Also, we think they were especially good at trimming the existing trees and bushes; you could hardly see the house before and we couldn't believe they were able to save them and make them look decent. They are now our regular lawn service and two different neighbors have stopped to tell us how nice everything looks. Update 03/14: After the initial installation, things went downhill. (I changed my previous A ratings to more accurately reflect the total experience.) Our sod never thrived. Dawayne blamed the distributor, then us. He did replace large sections once at no cost. It basically died out again, in many places. He said we watered too much, then too litle, then blamed all the weeds on the birds (doesn't everyonehave birds?). We had mutliple unhappy conversations. Finally we contracted with an outside service for fertilzier, pest control etc. to try to save the lawn and told Dawayne that we only wanted him to mow. He said fine. Then I sent him the check for another month and he returned it saying that "They no longer served our area." All in all, I found him difficult to work with. In retrospect, I think there are better choices.

DC Lawn Service has my mom's property looking better than it has looked in a long time. Previous lawn services started out OK but ended up doing less and less work as time went on - especially when it came to weeding and trimming bushes. I am very happy with Dawayne and his crew and never worry that they won't do what they promised. Their prices are reasonable and they show up when they say they will, which is very important to me. I would hightly recommend them for both maintenance and new landscape work.

Working with Dwayne was an absolute pleasure. A true professional, honest and straight forward, and knowledgeable. He and his crew did an excellent job. Before installing the mulch, they pulled weeds that were missed by another company that had just done the work six weeks earlier. He and his crew are very meticulous. On our initial walk-thru, Dwayne noticed some issues with our lawn that our lawn pest control company has not properly addressed. He provided the details I needed to contact the company and have them address. When he was out today to install the mulch, he noticed that the problem hadn't been addressed. He happened to have the necessary chemical to deal with the issue and offered to spot treat the problem at no additional cost even though this was another company's problem. After our initial meeting to discuss the work to be done, he called with a quote and a scheduled date to perform the service. Due to rain, he was delayed a day and made a point to call and keep us posted on when he'd be able to do the work. A one day delay was no problem for us. We were so pleased with this experience working with Dwayne and his crew that we have already asked him to schedule trimming all of our shrubs and intend to do that on a regular schedule now that we have found someone that we feel we can rely on. All in all, a great first experience! Great customer service!

In a pre-meeting, Dawayne was very helpful in explaining the different kinds of mulch options we had to choose from to best meet our needs. He sent us to his source where we could see the types and sizes of mulch to help us decide. Because of all the rainy days, Dawayne kept us informed when he would or would not be coming. There is nothing worse than waiting around all day for a no-show. This did not happen and we appreciated the constant updates. On the scheduled day the guys showed up early in the morning and spent 3 1/2 hours working in the yard. The guys did a great job weeding all the beds while Dawayne was getting the truckload of mulch. Dawayne worked with his crew applying the mulch and continued weeding with them. They were thorough, neat, and really nice gentlemen. The finished job was excellent, a good thick layer of mulch. They swept up when they were done and Dawayne was very conscientious about making sure we were happy with the job. I highly recommend them. They offer all kinds of landscaping, tree trimming, sod work, etc. I would use them again as they are very reliable.

They did a fantastic job! I met with Dawayne and explained that we wanted to get the home ready for sale. We walked around the property and he gave me good advice regarding what to do for a reasonable price. His team did the work when they said they would and did a great job. The property looks so much better! I also hired them to do landscape maintenance as well as insect control and fertilizer. Its great to have a one-stop-shop for all the yard maintenance.

Dwayne and his crew went above and beyond what I had asked of him. Dwayne scheduled for my lawn to cut today and while he was here, he and his crew saw a stump that I had in my back yard and removed it. That was something that I was sure I myself would have to remove. Being in my late 50's and a women, doing those kind of chores is not really easy for me. THANK YOU GUYS. I did have a friend of mine mowing my lawn when ever he could get to it but when I came home from work today what a difference between a want to be company and a professional company and DC Lawn Service is definitely a professional company. Dwayne also fixed a broken sprinkler line that I had, and that I knew about and told him to fix it. I can not say enough about this company and Dwayne, what a great man.

Overall, I am very pleased with the work that DC Lawn Service provided. They were punctual and upfront about the amount and cost of mulch that I would need. They covered the beds adequately. I have a large yard with large flowerbeds. They left the work areas clean and I was impressed with that. The only thing that I will ask them to do next time is to lay down some weed killer pellets before they install the new mulch. Perhaps that will slow the regrowth of the weeds which was almost instantaneous after the mulch was installed.

I have no complaints. Now he and his company will do a number of other jobs besides lawn mowing. Mr. Capshaw is a real professional landscaper - he'll take care of palm trees, demolition of outdated features in the yard, and I expect to have a much improved yard within the next month..

We got DC Lawn Services Big Deal to re-mulch 450 sq ft service for $165. We couldn't be happier with the overall job they did. The lawn looks great, and they were on time, polite, and professional. They actually do routine lawn service for a monthly fee, and we are now considering leaving our current service for them.

As soon as I saw this landscaping service's deal in my email, I grabbed it for my spring gardening. The owner called me within an hour of buying the deal to come out that day and review the work to be done. He set an appointment at my convenience two weeks later. He showed up 15 minutes early with a crew of three - and were done with all of my beds in an hour. They used a very high quality pine bark, and everything looks fantastic. Even if I don't have a deal next time, I will definitely consider them again for mulching and trimming the garden.
