Barrows Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Excellent job A+++ Charlie has been cleaning my carpets for over 10 years and is the best would not hesitate to recommend him to everyone i know, A wonderful family owned business and such a sweetheart, always picks up my garbage cans for me and brings treats for my two little Yorkie's. Look forward to next year.

Received a phone call this morning from the owner of Barrow carpet cleaning. Mr. Charles Barrow had just read my review of two days ago this morning and sincerely apologized for what had occurred at my home. He offered to return my money, which I declined I didn’t want a free service due to my review and would feel uncomfortable receiving a refund of my money after all the carpet had been cleaned., just not to the standards I had expected from his company. Mr Charles Barrows asked if there was anything he could do like return furniture back into place, which I did last night. So there was really nothing I could see at this point in time. Mr Charles Barrow then said he probably would fire Dave due to this review. That is a business decision totally in Mr Barrows hands. I did appreciate his concerned phone call and attempts to rectify the service we had received two days prior. He told me in the future I should ask for him.

This was the third time we hired Barrows to clean our carpets and this is the first time we were very dissatisfied. Our prior experience with Barrows, we removed the majority of the furniture in the areas to be cleaned. upon arrival they would pretreat the areas to be cleaned, cleaned the carpet, applied scothguard and replaced the furniture with furniture protectors under the furniture legs to protect the carpet and provided us with two bottles of “spot out”for quick cleanup of any future spills. This afternoon shortly after 1:30, Dave arrived and walked through the areas to be cleaned and started work promptly. It did not appear that he pretreated the carpet but started immediately cleaning the rugs. He moved quickly through the three rooms and then applied scothguard.. He did not return any of the furniture that was piled up throughout the house in adjacent rooms, nor did he provide furniture protection paper not styrofoam blocks nor did he give any bottles of “spot out”. When he left, we turned the air conditioner down to 72 degrees as the air felt quite humid. Here it is 6 hours after he left and our carpets are still sopping wet. I will not hire them again nor recommend them to anyone.

I called Barrows and they were out to my condo on the same day. They were able to clean the carpet and it looks like new!

They were on time, courteous, efficient, and did a great job. Highly recommended

The crew was on time and got the job done in less than an hour. I have several wool area rugs that need special treatment they did an excellent job

I had called the day before to make sure all was a go for the next day, was assured my appointment was for 10:00 the next morning. DIdn't hear from anybody till about 11:20, he said he would be here in 13 minutes , no explanations .The young man that did the carpets was professional and seems to have done a good job.

Charlie and his "crew" showed up, early, took the time to explain the entire process and then got right to work! There was some noise and the smell of the chemicals, neither of which bothered me at all. They were in and out again in just under an hour and my sectional looks and smells wonderful! I'm very pleased with the service and will certainly use him again, if the need arises. Thank you.

They were very good. They were thorough and knowledgeable. I called them on a weekend and they came on that weekend day.

Barrows was able to come and do the cleaning on the same day I called. Pricing was fair and service was excellent. I have used them in the past to get difficult stains out of our mattress and I will continue to use them. They do a wonderful job!

I called Charlie and got an estimate over the phone. We agreed on a price and scheduled an appoinment. They showed up exactly on time. They were very courteous and professional. The carpet and upholstery cleaning went very well. It took a lot longer to dry than we expected. The grout cleaning didn't turn out like we wanted. It still had a lot of dark spots. I called and talked to them and they agreed to come back out and try again. We were told that if they tried any harder that the grout would be damaged. I would call them again to clean our carpet but not the grout. Maybe it's harder than I understand but I expected it to be better. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

.They came when they said they would and did a good job. The carpets were really clean when they were finished. I thought the price was a little high.
