They did a great job. They were very professional and work was done on time.

$200 for 1/2" of wire. $70 of that for driving out, I accepted that ahead of time. And I understand them wanting to simplify their pricing structure. $120 to cut half an inch of wire and screw it in? No, that's robbery. Update: Bill Wright (the owner) contacted me a week or so after the service (and after seeing the above). He very professionally and politely discussed my issues and offered me a partial refund to bring the pricing into what I would call "harsh but fair", considering the same day service. I'm still not sure I would use Allied again, but I'd consider it. Much thanks (and props) to Bill for making things right.

The provider cleared the clogged drain line using a hose to backwash the line (a trick I would like to have known ahead of time). The wet/dry vac wasn't working. The price for service mostly involved the service call. Other a/c repairmen though have told me this is a tricky method in that you can flood the floors inside.

It was fine. I was happy with it. They did not charge more than the $35 big deal price. There was just one thing that we didn't end up finding out and it probably wasn't installed.

With the unit being as old as it was and knowing it had not been serviced for some time, none of the findings were a surprise to me. I had already suspected it would need to be charged, which it did. I also suspected that replacement of the entire unit would be suggested, which it was, but the provider was not pushy, and I did not want to take on that expense. The service provided has proven sufficient to allow putting off a purchase of a new unit for the time being.

I was having trouble with the a/c going out during the hot time of the day. So I bought an Angie's list coupon deal with Allied A/C. Made an appt. and they came out the next day. He fixed the problem and all is well. We paid $35.00 for the deal which was the half off price of the visit plus $20 off of the work performed. So the total was $99. plus the $35 for the deal. The tech was very friendly and explained what was the problem and how he would fix it. I will call them next time I need A/C work.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! This was the BEST EXPERIENCE! Called last minute and they fit me in SAME DAY! The tech called before arriving, was courteous and knowledgable. Can't say enough good things about ALIED and their tech!

Diane and Linda are pleasant and helpful when answering the phone at Allied. Florian, the salesman, was informative and helped us understand our needs. He visited our home twice because we had more questions after his first estimate. He is not a high pressure salesman. We upgraded to a 17 seer because of our interest in efficiency, green energy, and the environment. Florian actually suggested that a 15 or 16 seer would be sufficient. Day of installation: Great work. Jamie and Andre arrived at the time of the appointment. They laid drop cloths over the entire garage floor and prepared the area without delay. Because of my interest in their work, they didn't mind that I watched their progress. They answered my questions and were pleasant throughout the hot day. The entire job was done expertly, neatly, and the men cleaned up perfectly. The air conditioning system has been running flawlessly for the past two weeks. It is quiet and cools efficiently and the ultraviolet lamp may be responsible for the odor-free house environment we now enjoy. The humidity is lower than we've ever experienced even when setting the inside summer cooling temperature to 80 degrees (our preference). The Bryant, "Housewise" smart thermostat, however, is not for the faint of heart, for those who are not technologically inclined, or those not interested in such devices. Bryant Corporate does not employ tech support and their manual leaves much to be desired. They deserve a "D" rating for supplying a poorly written thermostat manual that I had to print myself and for not providing telephone tech support. Fortunately, Mr. Bill Wright, owner of Allied Air Conditioning, has worked with my wife and me to learn and configure the thermostat. The "Housewise" thermostat is daunting but has unique features for remote access and dehumidification control. Bill Wright has helped us enormously in understanding the thermostat. Two weeks after the installation of the system, Mr. Wright sent Scott, his thermostat technician, for a final visit to assure that the unit was running correctly. Allied Air Conditioning is a superb company. Thank you.

Was having problems with old AC system, instead of looking for another Band-Aid fix. I called Allied AC and asked them to come price out a new system for my home. Allied was the only company I called, their original price quote was better than I was expecting. We weren?t planning on getting a new system installed immediately but decided the price was right and decided to move forward with the purchase. A week after getting the price quote the new systems was installed. The install crew was very professional took their time to do everything right the first time. The new system has a very clean install everything looks great! They cleaned up everything after they were done. No problems at all would use again.

The tech ended up blowing the motor that was working fine and then charged me another $400 to replace it. I will not use them again.

The tech came out and gave me cool air by fixing the capacitor.Because the system was 17 years old,I decided to go with a new unit.We decided on April 29th..The two techs that came out were outstanding. I do not remember their names.I had a family emergence right after the installation and this is why the review a little late.The installation went great.No problems at all.I was consulted on all aspects of the install.The tech made a suggestion on moving the inside unit to give me a little more room in the garage.The out side tech did a great job,he even put some river rocks I had around the front of the fan unit It looked that much nicer.The Pasco County code enforcer said,"One of the best insallations he's seen in awhile."That's way I would tell anyone who asks that Allied Ai Conditioning is a great company and their techs are friendly and they know their jobs.Thank you for all the work that was done.

Called for est. decided to go with them. Made date of 5-6. Came on time. Finished in less that half a day-Didn't even know they were there-had small problem-Taken care of next day.

The guy did a good job of trying to get it to work but compressor was dead after 10 yrs of Florida weather... So he gave me a quote for a new heat pump system at $4,700 !!!! Which really shocked me. So I said thanks but I want to look around more. Nice guy, he really did take the time to try & help,,, but price was way too high ! So I had the original company (Jim's Fix It ) come out and look at it ... Took them about 10 minutes to agree the compressor was dead ... so I was waiting for the big price and Jim ( the owner, who was the one that came out ! ) told me he would recommend an AC unit instead of a heat pump now because they were actually more efficient than the heat pumps! But the best news was was the price ! Only $3,500 for everything ! And now after using it for about 3 months I am very happy because it works like a dream ! With a 10 yr Frigidaire warranty ! AND it does not run 1/5 as much as the old heat pump did ,,, so I think it'll save me cash this summer also ! (Lets hope so anyway! ) I really recommend Jim's Fix It ,,, but I advise everyone to shop around for the best in price and service FIRST ! It could save you over a $1,000 like it did for me !

I called for service related to the deal on angie's list, and the office staff was very courteous and accommodating. They shuffled the technician's schedule to provide same day service. Robert arrived as scheduled, and he was professional and informative. He quickly identified the problem. It was a bad fuse related to poorly wired unit. He replaced all the faulty connections and worn areas. He also modified the unit to decrease to overall noise when it runs. I would recommend their services and use them again if needed. I am also considering their maintenance plan, which appears to be better than my previous company.

Bill, the owner, sent out Jamie to explain the options available to me. He walked me through the process step by step. It was nice to know that Jamie was also the tech guy who would be doing the install for me. Bill was able to schedule the install for a few days later, and Jamie and his helper removed the old equipment, installed the new unit, repaired the air handler cabinet, installed a new drain line, installed a humidistat, and updated the electric panel all in about 6 hours. They removed all of the old equipment and broom swept my garage. They even planted some grass plugs around the new unit. Its been a week, and the new unit works great.

Tech was professional and courteous. Worked steadily for about 3 hours. The system has been great and doesn't have to run constantly, so our electric bill will likely be lower next summer. The cost was a little more than I expected even with the deal, but overall we are satisfied .

My AC went out on one floor in mid Oct. I needed it replaced that week, but when replacing it my wife and I figured we might as well do the the first floor AC too. Since both were old. Jamie came out on a Monday and said he was the tech, but was helping the sales people since I need a quote asap. Right when I met him, I got a good vibe from him. He checked it all out and I received a quote fast. The next day I spoke to Bill (the owner) and he gave me another quote if I would to replace both at the same time. The quote was less then everyone else and the customer service was ten times better then anyone else. I did get one more quote from another company, but by Thursday morning Jamie was at my door and starting the second floor AC. There were three guys here and when they left the house was cleaner from when they got here. Same thing on the following Wed. when they replaced the first floor. Everything went great with them from start to end. Very clean and professional. Would highly highly recommend.

The job went great, they quickly had our air conditioner back in working condition. The company as whole was wonderful company and i will defiantly be calling them again next time we have a problem with our a/c.

I e-mailed Allied through Angies List. Allied called and we set a day and time that fit both our schedules. Scott,The AC man, called in advance to let me know he was on his way. When Scott arrived I showed him were the system was and I told him that my Home Inspector said to have the AC checked professionally. Scott asked if I was experiencing any problems but I told him none that I noticed. After Scott was done checking the system he informed me that the system was 15 years old. Also that 2 capacitors needed to be replaced because they fell below the allowable charge to keep the system running without damage to other components. He changed the capacitors at a total cost of $218.00 and now I hope my 15+ year system runs for awhile.

As usual, Scott is outstanding and one of the best techs you'll find. He provides expert advise as well regarding any changes or repairs you need to make. This is the second project I've had for Allied and my experience continues to be outstanding. Great group.

They were honest, didn’t try to upsale, they were great

Our a/c stopped working over Labor Day weekend and this was the ONLY air conditioning company that I contacted that was willing to come out on a holiday weekend. Very impressed with the knowledge of the service tech. He had everything up and running in no time. Thank you, Allied Air

If only all experiences with contractors could be as smooth as this one was! I called on a Sunday. I felt bad wrecking someone's afternoon, but the emergency service was available, and I took it. The technician, Robert, was very pleasant, and came out within an hour after speaking with him. He went right to work, looked everything over, discovered the problem, and resolved it in no time. It was a relief that it wasn't anything major, at least not this time, and the price was extremely reasonable. I will be certain to use Allied A/C & Heating in the future! Thanks, Robert!
