We have spent $250 having the windows scraped clean and for cleaners to get the paint off the tile at a cost of 45 hours of our time. This does not include the mess they made of the landscape.
Description of Work: The owner of All Phase Painting, Bruce Ray, promised to drape our newly tiled deck and protect our windows and landscaping; however, after the job began this was not done even though we again explained that we did not want paint on anything but the roof and house. Final outcome was disastrous. Skylights, all windows, our newly tiled deck, sidewalks, everything within 6 feet of the house got sprayed or dripped on. It was a mess! When Mr. Ray wanted his money prior to completion I trusted him when he told me that his crew would clean up after they finished. This never happened and it has taken him 3 months to come see the mess. His comment was " and you don't think you can live with this"!

Response from All Phase Painting
Our painters started the job on 1/7/04 and finished painting on 1/20. The painter went back on 1/23, spent 3 hours there cleaning and gathering our supplies and was thanked when he left. Member called back again after 3 months and said that there was still paint on the tile. I asked her why she waited so long to complain and she said that her father had just passed away and she wasn't worried about the paint job. Painter went back to clean the tile again. On 4/21 member called and said she was still not happy with the cleaning job of her tiled patio. Secretary of All Phase Painting went out and cleaned her patio. A week after secretary went and cleaned the patio member called and wanted me, the owner, to come and clean the skylight. I did so the same day and I also repainted the chimney for her.
