Majestic Kitchen Design, LLC

Stay far away from John Venneman kitchen designer, current owner of Majestic Kitchen Designs. We contracted with John for a new kitchen to be installed in our home in 2006. It was a high end kitchen with a cost of approximately $60,000. At that time John owned Premier Kitchens in Palm Coast, FL. It took 6 months to complete. During the last 2 months when we continued to apply pressure to get the kitchen completed he kept coming up with excuse after excuse and not sending a crew to get the job done. Granite still not installed after 4 months. Lightening under and above cabinets, crown molding on the top and bottom of the cabinets had not been installed, an many other items...knobs, etc. Will I am not sure how it came to our knowledge, but we discovered the reason we did not have our granite was because he had not paid them. When we found this out we also discovered he had not paid all the sub contractors. Interesting thing is...the companies put liens on your home while he as the contractor walks away. Learning the hard way, we of course had paid him half down at contract signing, another quarter when the cabinets went in, so we really didn't have much of a balance with him. We did what we had to: We went and paid for the granite and obtained our own electrician to complete the lightening. John did finally send one employee to complete all the molding, but when the employee called John to tell him he was finished, John pulled into our driveway to collect his final quarter. By the time we paid for our granite, electrician and everything else to be completed we were well over the final quarter we owed John Venneman. My husband told him to get off our property. He closed Premier Kitchens shortly after. In 2011 we needed a kitchen for a rental property we were doing. We called three kitchen companies to give us estimates...one fo them Majestic Kitchen Designs in Port Orange. We couldn't believe it when we saw John Venneman get ouf of the truck. We said thank you, but no thank you, and goodbye. He is owner and operator at J&S Fabricators, LLC and a company called EVI Sales and Marketing. All three companies can be found on Sunbiz.org the State of Florida LLC/Corporation filing website. All I can say is...stay away from any company John H. Venneman owns.

A complaint has been filed with the Port Orange police department and the state attorneys office.
