East Coast Glass and Supplies

Had Rocky replace two window glasses that had blown out seals. He made a mess of the windows using a black glazing. All over the inside of the window was this black g***. He said he would come back, and fix it since he was short on time. Never answers a call since. He avoided coming back. This guy was terrible.

I made an appointment with provider East Coast Glass and Supplies (Tom Russell) on the morning of 9/12/14, for him to accomplish some sliding glass door repair, and window replacement work at our house in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He called the day before his appointment, to change that time until later in the day. We changed our schedule to accommodate his and agreed to between 2 and 5 pm. My wife then called and reconfirmed with him the morning of the appointment. Tom never showed up, and we never even received a call from him to advise us. I personally have no tolerance for that sort of lack of responsiveness and/or communication. I give Tom Russell and East Coast Glass and Supplies, my lowest possible rating!

I left a negative review on this company several months ago and saw it posted on this page. Now it is not here?!! This is not an "A" company to deal with! Tom Russell of East Coast Glass Co. Serviced all my windows. .....16 of them. Tom was paid $1.700 for his service, but few days later some of the windows did not work right. One would not stay in open position, few are just impossible to open. I immediately called Tom and he said he will look at these windows but never showed up. I called and left several msgs. to which he never replied. I left a final msg. telling him that I was going to give him a bad review and not even that got any attention nor a call back. Once again, this is not an "A" rating company. ...."D" from me!!

Tom came promptly on the due date and repaired 16? windows. He and another man were there the whole day and looked like they did a good job. All the windows opened ok on that day and we paid him remaining balance to the total of 1.700. At this point we are part time residents and only come on weekends, so 2 week from the window install few windows had some issues. One was very hard to unlock, few are hard to go up and down and one doesn't stay open and slides down. I think they are minor repairs and had called Tom. Left a few messages and talked with him one time. Left another message ......he just didn't show up, didn't call, nothing. He did cashed the check tho! So if you hire this guy......maybe you want to hold a security fee back for few weeks because once you pay him....you won't see him again.

They were very responsive. They came within half an hour on the day I called them. They were a lot less than what I thought it would be. I was very pleased with them.

Between reviewing the job, performing the replacement and stopping-by for payment they made three trips to my house and still charged a rather meager amount. The quality of the job is fine. This was a simple job, I can't say how capable or reasonable they'd be with major projects such as shower enclosures or full window replacements.

Called East Coast Glass and Supplies in the morning, very pleasant and helpful to talk to. They came out within 2 hours and gave me an estimate. Within one week they had the whole job done. Excellent job done, will definately use them again.
