They were very good, they did a good job. They did exactly what I needed done. We didn't have any issues except that it was a windy day and there was a tree branch that went into the down spout but they came back the next day and fixed it. It was my neighbors house not mine. They were top notch. I would use them again and I would highly recommend them. The crew was all friendly and very polite. They did a good job cleaning up and everything. They did exactly what I needed done. They recommended some other areas that might need work later on and they did a good clean up job. They came out for the estimate and the gentleman that came out scheduled the work to be done 3 days later they were on time bright and early in the morning and got done before the end of the day. They were right on time if not earlier. They were very professional, They knew what they were doing. Their professionalism and knowledge is why I give them an A. It only took about 3 hours. The foreman on the job took the measurements and did everything he needed to do to figure out what needed to be replaced. They had to special order the part because these are manufactured homes, they don't have standard gutters on them. They came back two days later and replaced the whole thing. It looks brand new. They did a very good job. They kept us posted, me and my neighbor, because they contacting him directly as well. They gave us the status where they were picking up the order, when they were going to arrive. Even the manager or owner in charge of the company gave us a call to assure us that things would be taken care of to our satisfaction.

They guy was very on top of his game. I showed him what I needed to be done. He jotted down a few notes. There was one tree limb that had to be removed on a huge oak in front of the house. The other tree was an overhanging tree that would threaten to fall onto the house if we had a hurricane or a wind storm so that was a precautionary measure. He explained the whole process on how they would take it out. He gave the impression that he knew what he was doing. He was very knowledgable in the tree service. I thought it would be double what they actually charged me. Apparently that work was simple work for them. Something they do every day. It was very quality work. Aces over kings and well worth the $600 dollars. They came about 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled appointment time.

It was excellent. They wanted cash, so we accommodated them with that. It was really worth it because they did an excellent job. They were good. The price was a little higher than I expected, but when I look at the time and work and stuff they did, it was worth it. They were right on it. I certainly would use them again. I saved their card. I was kind of surprised with the price, but they were around most of the day and they worked hard. I had to get the stumps removed. They said they could do it for $50 and they could come back but I wound up getting somebody else to do it later on because I had three stumps that were left by them, but it wasn't a problem.

They were fantastic. They came out and gave us a quote, we agreed upon a price and within a few hours 5 guys were out here to remove all the trees. They were extremely hardworking and professional. One tree was in a hard spot and they laid it perfectly between two houses. The only negative was that they said the Angies list coupon for the full day was no longer applicable, but is still on the website.

No show. Scheduled for Saturday between 9:30 and 10:00 am 11/19/2016. Guy never showed. Texted owner, no response.

It went great they did everything they said they would and more. Will definitely hire them again in the future.

Excellent tree guys. Jon and his crew arrived as scheduled. They were very professional, had all the necessary equipment for the job and quickly got my trees removed and trimmed. I was impressed by how well and safely they did their jobs. Going up 60ft into trees is inherently dangerous but they took no chances, for which I am grateful. I don't want to see anybody getting hurt. They were careful with my property, cleaned up and hauled away all debris. Jon was helpful in assisting me in choosing what to remove and trim up. He makes sure his crew knows exactly what to trim. His charges were reasonable. As long as I'm living in Pt. Orange, I have no need to ever call anybody else for tree work. Thanks, Jon, you did a fine job for me.

Aardvark were working at my neighbors and I asked them if they could cut a small tree down for me. At the same time I asked John to look at one of my Bay trees as it had suddenly turned brown. The tree had beetle and they removed it immediately so that I would not lose my other trees. John then put me in touch with a specialist who came out and injected my remaining Bay trees so that they were protected. This is the second time I have used Aardvark, the first was when we bought our house that had stood empty for over five years. At that time they came and trimmed all the large old oaks in the yard and removed limbs that were hanging over the house. The whole crew are professional and courteous and I would have no hesitation recommending them.

I had excellent service from my first call on Saturday night to the final stump grinding. Jon and his team were professional and extremely skilled. Just getting the bucket truck in that tight area was a feat. Trees are down safely and yard cleared. They took care of permits and came prepared. It was a stress free operation for a very good price. I especially liked that the owner was on site for the removal.

In one word....OUTSTANDING! After reviewing several tree services in the area, we decided to give Aardvark a try. Jon was here within an hour of my call to give us an estimate. He gave us a very reasonable price for the work that needed to be done so we hired him. WHAT A GREAT DECISION! The crew arrived promptly at 7:45 am armed with a huge array of heavy equipment to do the job. The mammoth maple tree that had been destroying our roof was gone in minutes. We were so impressed that we decided right then and there to have additional trees (not scheduled for removal) to be taken down. Jon was very accommodating and instructed the crew accordingly. We are very pleased with the results and would strongly suggest anyone in need of similar work to give Aardvark a call. You won't be disappointed.

The team of Jon, Zach and crew at Aardvark Tree Service are excellent tree artisans and highly recommended! They were quite professional, worked quickly and very skillfully, and were sincerely concerned that I was pleased with the outcome of their work. The oak trees and hedges were long overdue for trimming, as well as removal of the dead tree limbs was needed before hurricane season. I can honestly say that after they were finished and cleaned-up so thoroughly, that this property has never looked better! I was even able to watch a pair of pileated woodpeckers zipping around the trees today thanks to their handiwork. The owner of the company, Jon, was professional and friendly. His team was punctual, thorough and fast. They did exactly what was promised and removed all the debris after the job was finished. I was extremely pleased with the service I received before and during the job.

Jon showed up exactly when he said he would for the estimate. His crew was here on time and did a really fine job as the trees were in very tight spots in regards to our houses. Will definitely use Aardvark Tree Service again, and will recommend him to friends. Very professional company.

First off, let me say I have had experiences with other tree companies (with good Angies list ratings) in the past. The others are not even in the same league as Jon at Aardvark. Jon is a true professional, and was recommended to me from a highly rated fence company. Jon's crew made short work of the job cutting down my trees fast and SAFELY! Crew was all friendly, and I had his stump grinding guy do some additional work. One of the trees was in a difficult area to access very close to both my house and my neighbors, but his crew did an amazing job removing the tree FAST and without and issues to the houses. Everything was raked out and cleaned up very well when they were done. Bottom line...If you pick any other tree company in volusia you are nuts! Jon and crew are the best!! Look at the reviews, these guys are true professionals. 100% I will use them again for my palms and recommend them to all my friends.

Mr. Tarratt arrived at the appointed time for the free estimate and he and his crew came about one week later on schedule to cut down the trees. All of the debris was removed promptly and the stumps ground. Very good work done by Mr. Tarratt and his crew.

After looking for tree trimming services on Angie's list as well as asking neighbors, we chose a few to come out and give us an estimate. Jon came out to give us an estimate for some tree trimming to be done on our property line ( big oak tree hanging over ). He was here when he said he would be for the estimate. We talked about what we wanted to have done, he gave his advice as to what would look best for the tree as well as what would be best for the health of the tree. We checked Jon's Angie's list reviews and liked what was written. We also had seen Aardvark Tree Service working down the road about a year ago and made a note of them. They were cutting down a very large tree right next to a house. We checked Jon's license and his liability insurance. All good! After reviewing all the estimates checking our feelings about how we felt the companies represented themselves. We decided Aardvark would be best for our needs. Time was set for 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. Jon and his crew arrived at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning and walked his crew around with me to review the work to be done, all agreed and these guys went to work. I mean they went to work on this job, they all had their tasks and the worked like a well oiled machine. From the first cut it was just such a pleasure to see a professional company doing the work. I watched as these guys cut, lowered and ground up the branches. It's one of those sights that when a pro does it, they just make it look so easy. While here I had them give me a price on a couple more trees along side the house as well as a palm tree the wife wanted removed with the stump grinding to be performed to. No problem, we agreed on the price and his guys continued until all the trim work was done. They Picked up all debris, raked the areas, blew the driveway, sidewalk and his guy even blew off the roof from the saw dust that had blown on from the breeze. All in all Aardvark Tree Service is now OUR tree service for ANY work to be done on our property. We HIGHLY RECOMEND them if your desire is for a professional company with a strong work ethic!! Jon and his team are simply amazing! I have used them for many jobs where I am the Community Manager so when it came time to have some work done at my new home I did not hesitate to call on them. If you are looking for care, attention to detail and want experienced tree removal, trimming and stumping they are who I would recommend to call. First, let me say that Jon is a true businessman--in the best sense of the word. He immediately responded to my call requesting an estimate, came out to my home the next day to assess the work that needed to be done, and gave me what I considered an incredibly good price for the work. We scheduled a mutually convenient day for his men to come by, and Jon called me that morning to confirm that they would arrive at 11:00 a.m. The workers arrived promptly, a representative of the company introduced himself, the men unloaded the machinery, and accomplished all the agreed-upon work within the afternoon! A short while later, another man arrived with a stump grinder and finished up. In conclusion, I am extremely pleased with the quality and price of the work. In fact, I added on an extra $100, because I felt that that Jon's workers and his fee warranted it. One last point, when I asked Jon about the citrus trees, he assured me that they were fine. Another type of person might have told me that they needed trimming. So, to the list of other positive comments I've made, let me add how much I appreciate Jon's honesty.

The job that Jon and his crew undertook for us was a very difficult and risky job. We had the 2 largest Sycamore trees in the area that had become hazards to us and our neighbors. Jon and his crew skillfully removed them without a hitch. The weight of the removal was over 20 tons!! The trees were close to the house. They put down over 20 sheets of 1 inch plywood to protect our lawn and sprinklers from the heavy equipment. Jon was very professional and his crew was amazing as well. Both trees were removed within 2 days, including stumps ground. These trees were very special to our family as my father and I planted them 30 years ago. Jon's team skillfully and patiently cut several special pieces for us to use for tables, and other items. I work for a phenomenal service oriented company and I cannot tell you how great Jon and his crew were to work with. Jon and his team arrived on time and began getting right to work. The job was done swiftly and professionally. He brought all the necessary equipment and made short work of the trees that had been messing up our driveway. It only took them about an hour and a half to complete all the work. When they left all debris was cleaned up and you wouldn't even know they were there. They even blew the leaves off of our roof. We highly recommend this company. Would definitely use them again.

Jon and his team are professional, completes the job neatly and provide competitive pricing. He is accommodating with the little "extras" that make Aardvark the tree trimmer of choice. We had 3 estimates that came in with competitive pricing, but because Jon had done work for us a few months ago and provided the job he would like to see done on his own property, he was the contractor of choice.

We had many trees removed. We had many trees trimmed also. Very good work at a reasonable price. I would use this company again.

We had a large portion of a cedar tree fall during a storm and was partially in a neighbor's yard. Because the remaining part of the tree was leaning toward the house, the owner came the next day to give me an estimate. This was on a Sunday. By Thursday, he came with his crew and did all the work in about 7 hours. They did an excellent job. Zach, the foreman, saved a bird's nest with two baby birds and put it in another tree (This was impressive). Unfortunately, the cedar tree could not be saved. My only recommendation is for the homeowner to carefully read the written estimate so there is no confusion or misunderstanding. I, unfortunately, thought the bid was to grind the stump of the removed tree based on conversation, but in rereading the bid, the written bid was to grind the large tree limb that fell, not the stump. Jon did come back to grind the stump, but did not charge me additional. This was appreciated. I also had purchased the Angie's List coupon so I saved about $200 from the above cost of service, ultimately paying $2000 in total. The overall price be slightly higher than some competitors, but the service and professionalism were excellent.
