Resurrection / Pearl Pools was awful to deal with. They missed every timeline, they revised the quote upward mid-project after neglecting to include a shower area in the quote. Worst of all, even after MONTHS of missed deadlines, they called to say they were done and demanded final payment. When I said it wasn't and pointed out multiple issues remaining, they said they've done all they can and *full quote from an email from Brian, "I believe Resurrection Pools has lived up to our standards of service and quality." I was left with a deck that I needed to sand a large portion of on my own, plaster that is uneven with blemishes along the steps leading into the pool, tilework that's uneven, there was cement in the spillway so the flap couldn't be re-installed and multiple other issues I've had to deal with. That's their standard of quality and service. I reached out to my original salesman, Dave and he said he would look into it and get back to me. That was over 5 weeks ago.

Worst decision we ever made! Things started off fine, but the two weeks from start to finish timeline dragged into months. When the project was finally "finished," it really wasn't. They laid pavers over the control button for our spa-had to call them back out for that. Didn't finish the waterfall on the spa, had to call them back out for that. After they re-paved the spa control button, they obviously never tested their work-and if they had, they would have realized they poured concrete into the air lines for the jets! Called them back out..again. In the process of fixing the spa, had them look at the pool pump and found the cage full of debris from the refinish of the pool surface. Pool jets had debris in those as well. Have emailed and called the office multiple time to speak with the manager who is in the world's longest meeting-going on three days now and he's still in a meeting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!

We are very pleased with the complete pool and lanai resurfacing project recently completed by Resurrection Pool. It makes the entire area look like it was just built yesterday and it is much more attractive than the original surfaces. They completed the work on time and quickly. Everything was done to perfection and the crews that worked on the project were exceptional. I cannot say enough about how hard they worked and how skilled they were in their trades.I would highly recommend Resurrection Pool to anyone wanting this type of work done.

Called the morning they were scheduled to come out and meet with me ( post re-arranging my schedule). They stated " sorry we're too busy to take on new work. I asked why hey wouldn't have called to cancel. Evidently could care less which speaks VOLUMES! Try elsewhere!

I called & made an appointment for an estimate to repair a crack in my spa. A week later on 12/16/20 Wed., at 9:00 am., the owner Matt arrived, diagnosed & provided a cost to repair for same, along with a date to be sometime next month in January. I agreed to everything & said that the earlier in Jan., the better. On 01/06/21 Wed., at 9:00 am., I telephoned the office & was given a tentative date of 01/29/21 Fri., for the repair to my spa. In addition, I was told that the office would call me when it was closer to that date, in order to confirm same as well as the time for same. On 01/26/21 Tue., 9:00 am., I called the office, who again confirmed the date for 01/29/21 Fri., for the repair of my spa, but was unable to confirm a time for same. On 01/29/21 Fri., 9:17 am., I received a call from the office & was informed that they would not be able to repair my spa until maybe the beginning of summer. I told them that this was wrong to do on the date that they were supposed to do the repair work & was informed that there was nothing else they could do, but that they had overbooked not only my job, but 6 other jobs. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Wonderfully. The owner brought two crews. One worked on the pavers, the other on the pool edging. Excellent craftsmanship. They also used unstained concrete pavers to give us a short sidewalk to the neighborhood road. We liked their work so much that we then asked for installation of some of the leftover Travertine to replace our front entrance and sidewalk.

Beautifully, from start to finish. They referred us to a paver company where we selected Travertine pavers. The owner came before the work to determine the crews needed. Two teams came, one to empty the pool, remove the old coping (edges) and cut and install new ones. The other team removed the cement pavers and replaced them in a "French Country Classic pattern. They also put in a sidewalk to the patio from the street. We were so pleased with their quick, excellent work that we asked them to replace our front walk with some of the leftover Travertine.

Ressurection Pools was great to work with - starting with the salesman Brian who spent extra time with us at the show room to select the perfect color and product options for our pool finish, tile and pavers for the lanai deck. The staff in the office especially Chelsea, our personal customer service rep, was awesome & very responsive. The team of workers was great as well - on time, responsive, professional, friendly, engaging and always willing to go above and beyond! They even made a special trip to help us move our spa, which was not part of the renovation. I highly recommend Ressurection Pools and would use them again.

We want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude and complete satisfaction with the resurfacing and retiling of our pool and spa. From the time we first contacted them for an estimate to the time the pool and spa was resurfaced and retiled was absolute perfection. They were always available to answer our questions in a timely manner and made trips to our home to help us finalize our decisions regardless of the time or day of the week. They were both knowledgeable and professional, so easy to work with and flexible with our choices of color for the pool and selection of our tile. Within a matter of days, they started draining the pool and preparing it for re-surfacing. In addition, they removed the old tiles to prepare for the new ones to be installed. Once the tiles arrived, thy started installing them. They were true perfectionists and took a lot of pride with each tile they installed. They took their time backing up to look at each tile laid and also did a great job mixing them to ensure a not all the same colors were placed together. Once done, they kept checking and re-checking them to be aligned perfecting. Then the big day arrived, when a crew of many showed up to resurface the pool. Now that was something to behold for sure. With so many, they each knew their role to play. It was like watching a clock with all the gears moving in sync with each other. Within a few hours they were done and when gone there was no visible sign they had even been there. They cleaned up as quickly as they had arrived. Our hat off to them for a great job We watched from our kitchen the whole process from beginning to end and it was absolutely amazing to see it all come together. A real work of art. Then they showed up the next day to start the curing process. Finally, they came a few days later to test our equipment and show us how everything operated on the pump and in the pool. They took the initiative to come out later that day to vacuum our pool after our pavers were installed to collect the dust out of the pool. Finally, we want to recognize everyone in the front office we dealt with over the phone and in person. They were awesome and very responsive to our questions. They’re follow-up is impeccable. Many kudos to them as well. Thank you for providing us with a beautiful pool to enjoy for years to come. We are so happy for our neighbors to come over for a pool party and to pass along some referrals for Resurrection Pools.

I originally gave them an F however after posting, Mark called immediately to remedy the situation as we had broken finish on the decking. I want to add the pool and tiles were excellent in quality and finish. His workers showed up immediately to fix the broken area. In addition Mark agreed to bump out our warranty to 5 years. I wish Angie's list would provide a way to update a review so the F could be removed!

From the customer service to the team that came out to do the resurfacing everything was excellent...would highly recommend them to anyone looking to redo their pool!!

Excellent. From beginning to end everyone was extremely courteous and professional and very helpful.

Our pool was 12x 60’ and was 30 years old. It took about a week to do. I was amazed how many people it took to do. They went over every inch of pool area and eliminated all bad spots They added a gorgeous 12’ sun shelf with Curved steps and umbrella socket So we can sit in the pool. Also all new pavers around the pool. Fabulous job and the workers were all highly skilled and very pleasant and respectful.

Everything they said was going to happen did, Any issues were corrected immediately. Very happy with job!

Overall, great! Some bumps concerning screen people, but Resurrection Pools continued to work with us until we were 100% satisfied. They stand behind their product and contract. We feel confident that we can contact them If any issues arise.

Resurrection Pools did an amazing job renovating our pool. From beginning to end they were easy to work with. Brian helped us pick the perfect colors for the Wet Edge, Tiles, Vents, and Spa spillway. We highly recommend the Wet Edge Brilliant Blue. It makes the pool water look very inviting. The crew who did the job were exceedingly respectful and receptive to all our questions. They did an exceptional job on the tile design, skimmer, and the pool finish! The coping grout looks like new! We were out of town when they started the project and they sent us pictures to keep us updated. It is also a plus that when you call the office, someone actually answers the phone. We definitely recommend Resurrection Pools to anyone wanting to renovate their pool.

the pool had black marks in lots of areas from wear. Resurrection Pools made the pool look brand new. I had them regrout my tiles and install a new pool light. All the men worked professionally, were hard workers and very neat. I would highly recommend them.

The actual renovation of pool was done professionally and beautifully. Sadly, once the job was completed and paid in full, it seemed as though my problems no longer mattered. By the Fall of 2017, a significant crack appeared around the base of the new ladder that had been installed on the steps. It took about 3 months of repeated phone calls for anyone to show up to attempt a repair. In less than a year, the crack has again returned and I have been repeatedly ignored and placated with promises that someone will get back to me. I continue to wait for a return call. I was so happy with my pool initially when completed, but this current situation is so frustrating and has certainly diminished my trust in this company.

I had no project. I was looking to have a pool deck resurfaced and Angie thinks I put a new pool in. I did not hire them but Angies list keeps sending me this survey. I think the only way to get out of the system is to complete the review.

It went very well. They were on time and did a spectacular job.

Poorly. They left materials on the neighbor's property, which my mother and I had to move. These included a pallet, and left-over coping and pavers. Later we discovered that they dumped excess concrete-based pool coating also on the neighbor's lot, two large now-solidified pieces nearly a foot wide and 2-feet deep. My mother and I were able to partially remove one chunk of concrete, however, the other remains. They were supposed to replace a check valve and re-route the pvc to bypass the pool pump. Claimed they changed a valve near the spa and checked another near the heater. After one of their workers did something to the system, the spa no longer held water when the pump stopped. After repeated requests to have it fixed we finally hired a pool repair company, who stated that there is NO check valve near the spa to be changed! He then replaced one near the heater (which one of the Resurrection techs claimed to have fixed or replaced) AND had to replace the pvc just re-routed by Resurrection. Emails to the office manager went unanswered, and the owner ignored our texts and photos. The final insult occurred when I learned that they convinced my 70+ year old mother to resurface the pool interior - which was Pebble-tec. I'm sure they knew it was Pebble-tec - with a lifetime warranty. Hence the resurfacing was not necessary. Neither my mother nor I were aware of the lifetime warranty until after the Pebble-tec surface was covered with a much cheaper material.

The only positive of my whole experience was the complete professionalism of the office manager Toby/Tobie. She saved face and made things right on so many occassions where the owner would not. He wouldn't even take the time to listen or review the mishaps and mistakes that happened in and through our restoration process. Toby/Tobie took the time, understood our issues, and even when the owner refused to help fix our issues after he was paid, she was willing to make it right. It is people like her that should be where the owners are because at the end of the day they are the ones keeping the doors open and the bills paid.

We were extremely pleased with Resurrection Pools, from our first contact with their sales representative to the followup after the project was completed. The office staff, sales rep, and installation crews were all top-notch and professional. They listened to what we wanted, arrived on time at our home every workday, and followed through with their commitment to complete the job without interruption. The office manager in Port Charlotte was always pleasant and professional, and exceptional in helping us with tile selections, scheduling, and on-going coordination throughout the project. The installation crews were all highly experienced, and took great pride in quality workmanship in every aspect of the job. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the process and are very happy with our beautifully renovated pool and spa. We wholeheartedly recommend Resurrection Pools to homeowners looking for a dependable, customer-oriented company to complete their pool renovation.
