Sloppy edging, paint left on door knobs, handles, windows, uneven color demarcation between walls/ceiling. Walls needed refilling/painting (I redid myself). Painter used wrong finish.

Terrific in every way. I chose to hire these guys because I had previously purchased a "deal" by these guys, which was for 2 painters for a day, and I was very impressed by how hard they worked and what they accomplished in the designated time. So I hired them for more work I needed done. I had no difficulty scheduling. Mr Massarone and his associate were very professional. They arrived on time. This was a big and difficult job that included removing 1970s wallpaper which had been applied on almost every surface, including the kitchen ceiling. It did not strip easily. These guys did an absolutely beautiful job. The kitchen ceiling is flawless. You would never imagine what it used to look like. They finished on time. They were very neat. I would highly recommend these guys.

Had difficulty scheduling time and finally got to the point where I didn't get a response. I believe he had personal issues going on in his life, however this has been going on for months and I am tired of waiting.

I orignially had a family freind scheduled to come out and paint a very high ceiling in my home but he hurt his back. Bill made time to come out and help me last minute. He was very professional and fast.

I planned to have 4 areas of my home (2 rooms, plus 2 hallways) painted. As a start, I bought an offer through Angie's List, to have Mr. M. paint one of the two rooms. After my purchase, Mr. M. called and came promptly to my home to see the painting I wanted done. He did not identify then which of the two rooms he would paint to fulfill the pre-paid one room offer. Instead, he encouraged me to hire him paint all four areas, including that one room, for a "good deal" , meaning a higher estimate + the cost of paint. He wrote that estimate and included the statement ? Angie?s List 1-coat on 1 room walls PAID?. I accepted his offer to paint all four areas with the belief the money I had prepaid would be applied toward the higher estimate given to paint four areas, since that one room would be painted as part of the 4 areas covered in his estimate. (Otherwise, he would be paid twice to paint the same room once, elevating the cost of the paint larger job above his written estimate.) He was willing to begin immediately but I told him I would call him to do the entire job after I had recovered from planned surgery (the paid offer is valid until April, 2014). 4 months later (March, 2014) I called Mr. M. to review the terms of our agreement and schedule a painting date. To my surprise Mr. M, who had not any painted any of my home yet, refused to apply any of the money I paid for him to paint one room toward his quote to paint that same room as part of the larger painting job. His reasoning was "I was only paid $30 of the money, the rest went to Angie's List." Although he then stated he was willing to paint the smallest of the two rooms (an 11 x 11 room, with ceiling, a window, and 3 doors that were not to be painted) I declined to have him work in my home and asked Angie?s List to refund my money. My experience with Mr. M. was mixed. He was prompt and courteous. I can?t speak to his painting skills. From my perspective, he was also unfair and unclear. I was wiling to pay him more to paint more. I was not willing that he would do no work for the money I had already paid for his services. I feel Angie?s List subscribers are not aware of, and should not receive less service because of separate payment agreements between Angie?s Lists and providers. From this I deduce it is important for subscribers to obtain explicit, detailed statements about payment for work including and beyond for provider services paid for through Angie?s List. .

It hasn't been great. Communication has been a real problem. I called him in February to get things done in March. I had to call for a while to get an appointment set up. He kept complaining that he isn't making any money on this deal and he doesn't want to stay the full 16 hours if it won't take that long. I paid for 16 hours and I expected 16 hours. I don't want to be shortchanged and I definetly have 16 hours worth of work and was more than willing to pay for any extra time to get those jobs completed.

Bill's work was mostly meticulous but his assistant was responsible for the problems that Bill had to repaint & most of the dissatisfaction. Could have been a much better experience.

They were professional and courteous and went out of their way to make us happy. We intend to use their services again.

The guys did a great job. There were no problems. They got a lot done as part of the "Deal". I'm always worried about purchasing a "Deal" where I am purchasing hours of work. But in this case they accomplished more than I expected. They were very neat. The price was of course excellent. There is more work to be done and I plan to use this company.

Massarone Paints is very professional as well as being easy to work with. I hired them to paint three rooms in my home and was so pleased that I asked that they do my family room, den and kitchen. They went beyond what I expected. I have an older home, they spackled the walls and even sanded down the drips of paint from other painting jobs so that my walls look just beautiful!! They were very neat and cleaned up everything before leaving. I would definitely hire them again, and in fact asked for an outside paint job estimate for my home in the spring. I have recommended to my family and also neighbors.

It went amazingly well. Bill and Scott are very friendly, personable and talented. They patched and sanded walls and ceilings, were very professional and I recommend them highly. After the AL deal, I immediately asked them back to do more work. There was a significant amount of splattering left on the floor, sink and fixtures in the bathroom. When I called to have them return to clean up what they claimed to have cleaned the first time when pointed out, they were well over 90 mins late, and when they arrived there as a significant attitude towards us. They left again with paint on the floor, tile around the shower where they painted and numerous other spots.

I will never pick up a paint brush again!! William and Scott did an excellent job on painting my kitchen and dining room. They had to spackle some walls and install baseboards. They were very polite, friendly, and hard workers. I would defienetly recommend them highly. In fact Im calling them back to do my bedroom,

They initially came to paint our bathroom but the work they did was so outstanding we asked them to come back and paint more of our house. We will definitely continue to use them in the future. We highly recommend them for the quality of their work and their professionalism. They even went above and beyond in making sure all of the areas were clean before they left.

It went pretty well. They obviously knew what they were doing. They were very neat. They painted the room with very little disruption to the rest of the house. They were very quiet. The owner was one of the painters, which is important, as his name is on the line. The room ended up needing two days, as the old paint was dark, and the new is light; the walls needed an extra coat. They charged the same lower rate for the second day. There were a few small details that could have been covered better, and they didn't remove some of the hardware, but rather painted round it. But they were quite good at detailing with this. To be fair, I didn't ask them to specifically remove all door hardware, etc. beforehand, and they probably would have if I had. All in all the room looks really nice, like a completely different room. My daughter is thrilled. This company deserves more business.

We contacted them and they came over and gave a price. We accepted and less than a week later, the area was painted and done nicely.

Bill and his partner were on time. They were efficient, putting 2 coats on wall in about 3 hours. They did a great job. All seams were straight and all meeting points/joints were straight.

He made the appointment with me (after about 20 phone calls) but never showed up. He said he was having difficulty with his phone. After an hour of waiting, I called him and he called me back and he apologized and said he knew he was late. By that time I was just so frustrated that I told him to just cancel the service. He then offered to reduce the price by $100 but I only paid $99 for the Deal and it just seemed very very strange and I decided not to proceed with the service.

It went great. William was very friendly and nice. He is very reasonbly priced for the work that he performed.

Excellent! Not a streak, not a drip, nothing left undone! Can trust him. Will call him again!
