Outstanding work. Showed up when he said they would. Finished on time.

Made phone to schedule appointment for Saturday March 8, 2018 to do an estimate. MJ Screen stated that he would call prior to stopping by. I was at the house all day and no one called or stop by. Very poor customer service and professional.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, Jean Lanci. She can't say enough good things about the professionalism, quality of workmanship, and completing the job in a timely fashion. Competitive pricing was negotiated, extremely clean while working on the job. Michelle and Joe Cohen are a husband and wife team who come highly recommend for any screening be it big or small. Jean has received numerous compliments from friends and neighbors.

Joe and Michelle arrived on time to provide a written estimate and returned at a scheduled date to perform the repairs.

Communications were good. Like every other vendor I contacted they were booked many months out. But we set a date and they arrived when they said they would, did the job we agreed to for the price we agreed to. When they weren't happy with some of the materials provide by the supplier they made sure to get the supplier to provide the correct materials. We were very happy with the outcome. I felt they were concerned about doing a quality job and they did just that.

This is a very professional husband and wife business. They were easy to contact, responded promptly, made an appointment which they kept. The job was done efficiently. I have been trying to get my screen repaired since Irma and could not get anyone to return my calls. I can definitely recommend Michele and Joe.

They could not get here until the middle of November which was too far out. I did appreciate their professionalism in getting back to me promptly and letting me know. I would try them in the future.

I have used MJ'S several times in the past. Joe & Michelle are very polite, and very professional. She is great at returning phone calls, and they have always showed up on the dates promised. I will always use them for screening and cage repairs.

They called to let us know that they would be arriving ahead of schedule. They replaced 2 large screens very efficiently. They were very friendly.

They were okay, I wasn't super impressed. There wasn't really anything wrong with the job.

You won't go wrong with this husband / wife team. Fantastic work, quality work and nice people.

It went perfectly. They offered a competitive price and did exactly what they said they would do how and when they said they would do it. Good people. M and J are the two people who own the company and who did the work. I couldn't find a flaw anywhere. They cleaned up their mess and except for the beautiful new screening you would never know they had been here. I wish every contractor providing services did such good work and reasonable prices the way they do.

The Cohen's run a tight ship. From start to finish they were responsible, efficient, on time and their work is the highest quality. No wonder they are busy.

The quality of the job is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that Joe called a few days prior to the job to verify he would be there. However, in his voicemail he stated he was not a "morning person," and would be at my home "later." I re-arranged my work schedule to be there the day of the scheduled install. He arrived about 10am. He stated his son-in-law would be there to help, he arrived about 2pm. They were here until about 7pm. My husband expressed concern to be re: their ability to do quality workmanship in the dark. I relayed this to Joe, he became angry. He said he was angry because I expressed doubt in his workmanship, and that he'd been installing for 17 yrs...all of this shouted at me as I stood in my driveway with him on top of his truck, securing work supplies. He was also angry that I had told him he could work as long into the night as needed to complete the job, but my husband felt otherwise when he arrived home. Joe demanded, "Well who's gonna settle up with me tomorrow then, if no one is home?' I was never told that we needed to be home for the install. I had told him when we scheduled that I would not be home, that I worked that day. Bottom line: Excellent Workmanship, be aware of other issues.

We were very happy with MJ's Screening when they did our pool cage a year ago, and we loved the pet-proof screening they recommended for the bottom portion of the cage. Tough! We have seen our dog hit it at top speed a number of times, and it hasn't budged. So when the screens on our rental property lanai came loose and started flapping, we knew who to call. We are again very pleased with the result.

Before I met the couple who own MJ's Screening, I had planned on getting bids from every possible company around (I already had two estimates at the time). Being on a fixed income, I need to be careful with how I spend my money. Upon hearing their pricing and explanation for which portions of the screen should be replaced and which portions were in good shape, I realized that I was getting the best deal possible from people who enjoy and take pride in their work. When my appointment arrived a few weeks later, they were kind, punctual and did an amazing job. They did not attempt to overcharge me or change the estimate they had offered. They cleaned up after themselves and were done faster than I thought they would be. I am completely satisfied with their work and will definitely contact them in the future when my screens need repair or replacement.

They were on time, very professional, thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. We will use them again. The screens look very good.

It is a treat to watch Joe and Michell work. They know exactly what they are doing and are very efficient. The screen was tight with no ripples anywhere. They followed through with everything they said they would do and showed up just like they said they would. Joe was helpful with ideas on how to fix some problem areas and he spent more time than I expected cleaning and repainting the metal before applying the new screen. If there bid is a little higher than some others its because they are well worth it. It was amazing to see a husband and wife team have such a good time working together.

Michelle and Joe were very responsive and we very easy to deal with. They came and gave me a written estimate, and offered to work with me in terms of scheduling. (I needed a Wednesday since that's when my husband and I are off from work.) If Michelle left a message and I forgot to call back, she called again. When I left a message, she promptly returned my calls. They built a small front lanai for my outdoor entryway, and it came out exactly as I wanted it to. They did it one day (beginning work at about 11:00 a.m. and finishing up at about 6:00 p.m.), and I am very happy with the final result. Their prices were very competitive, and I would recommend them.
