+ -1 moreMake sure if you order a garage or shed from them that they tell you ahead of time you are NOT paying for the true size you want as I did 12'x24' turned out to be 10'x24'. as you are supposed to know you have to pay for the one foot overhang on both sides. Constantly give excuses from delivery to fixing the problems. I have been to Town & Country who sells the materials to fix my garage but they seem to ignore that fact and continue to stall me off thinking I'll give up. My next contact will be to the Charlotte Sun newspaper so others in this area will know what to expect if you order anything from them. My brother had a TWO car garage built on site in the same manufactured park I live in plus an attached screened/window lanai room all for $14,000. So compare that to the ONE car garage I got and nothing else! A month or so ago (2012) Mr Massing came back and remeasured the needed replacements, including the door that is rusting out. It has been one year since he came out before promising to repair the necessary items. He also told me they no longer use that door manufacturer due to the rusting problem. It is now the end of August 2012 and I have not heard back from him at all.
Description of Work: ordered a garage early November 2007 12' x 24', Delivery time was supposed to be around Thanksgiving, it never came. Every time I called the office I was told the truck broke down & they are waiting for the parts. When it finally arrived I asked the guys if it was true the truck was broken down and they told me NO.Not long after delivery we were measuring the interior to hang some shelves to our surprise the garage was 10'x24' I was shocked, i paid for an extra 2' and didn't get it. When I called them I was told you have to account for the 1' overhang on each side. WHAT??? Who charges for overhangs?Last year 2011 Summer I called and told Larry Massing the owner the left rear vinyl piece cracked from the sun. He came out not long after and took pictures. I have called so many months now I've lost count each time a different excuse from no one makes that part. That's not true Town & Country off Veteran's Hwy on Kenilworth does. This last time I told his wife this and that the back door was rusting out, she told me yes, she know's and we no longer use that company. I asked her to have Larry call me, never did, It has now been almost two months and I've heard NOTHING!
