You will not wait for him to 'get back to you' and will feel like you are his only customer. Great eye contact and attention. Sent (with our permission) other 'you might be interested in' listings that reflected what type of home we'd talked about. Gentle and non-invasive follow-up. No obligation or contract signed. Has extensive knowledge and connections with the Port Charlotte Complex, river offerings, and P**** Gorda area. He knows his stuff! Would recommend him HIGHLY.

 + -1 moreIn two months of accepting the listing, we had to deal with two differtent Agents. One was taken off by the Agency for not performing his job. The second Agent was non responsive and vague when answering questions. He was rude with written communication and would not answer the simplest of questions. When pressed for an answer to a question, he released us from the contract in a very unprofessional manner. It also took them almost three weeks to place a for sale sign at the property. I would not recommend this Agency to anyone----poor, rude, unprofessional service.

Description of Work: John helped me in the decision making process of renovating and selling of my parents house after they died. He was very helpful in guiding me and offering advise and was my point person in Florida since I do not live in that state. The house, after being renovated, sold in under a week and for more than we originally listed - thanks to John's suggestion.

 + -1 moreWe had to leave a few days after meeting with John and getting some of the repairs underway. John was able to oversee the repair work and see that the rest of the excess furniture was removed. He took great pictures of the house and property and was able to capture the important assets of the property. We had an offer the first day it was listed. Although that offer was declined because it was too low, another offer was made within a few days. We accepted that offer after some negotiation, and all our family members felt it was fair, especially considering the market in Florida. We closed on the home on May 30th, 2012. I would not hesitate to recommend John to anyone, especially if they need someone to go the extra mile for them in a somewhat difficult situation. John has a no nonsense approach and can get things done, but is also understanding and willing to work with you.
Description of Work: John met with my husband and myself during our visit to my parents' home. The vacation home was part of their estate, and we needed to get the property ready to put on the market as no one in the family was able to really use the home as a vacation home and be Michigan snow birds as my parents were. John met with us during our limited time ( spring break week ) and was able to outline the repairs needed, suggest staging, and connect us with a licensed repairman that he had worked with before. We were able to confer with other family members and agree on the sale price, although it was a bit more than John advised. He went into detail about what features of a home in Florida add as far as the value. He also worked with a consignment person to get some of the furniture removed from the house. We hired John because we felt he had the " get it done attitude " and drive that we needed to get the home sold for a fair price with the disadvantage of being several states away and it being an estate situation.

He was knowledgable about comparative sales and came up with a very good listing price for our house that turned out to be only a few thousand $$ higher than what it was eventually appraised at. As we were motivated to sell, we had listed it slightly below the appraised price and it sold quickly - much quicker than the average time houses have been sitting on the market in our county. John was very responsive to our needs throughout the marketing period, and was thoroughly professional about the contract and closing phases of the sale.
Description of Work: John Del Sasso was the listing agent on our house in the Deep Creek area of Charlotte County. He represented us, the sellers, and listed the house, kept track of activity, and also provided a free, professional stager to help us set up the house for showings.
