Thank you for your interest in CR World Granite & Marble, Inc. We appreciate your business. In order to serve you better and prevent any misunderstandings about our process , we would like you to review the following information:
Lead Times: 2- 3 days for template, after template 7 days to install. We will do our best to complete your order as quickly as possible pending on availability of slabs.
Job site: needs to be ready for template. All necessary appliances, stove, sinks, faucets, soap dispenser, cook top, dishwashers or any other pertinent items that requires a cut into the stone needs to be taken at the time of template and returned at the moment of installation.
Natural Stone: Color Variations: Marble and Granite are products of nature and vary. are to be expected. Samples may not be representative of the entire order, and slabs currently on the market may be somewhat different in appeal of stone. Variations and cannot be avoided. Your slabs should be viewed and approved before the template for countertop be made. CR World can hold slabs for 15 days.
Schedule for viewing slabs: Please call to set up an appointment for your customer to come in and view our slabs, or your customer can visit one of our suppliers to choose the slabs. Give us a call to find the location nearest to your job site.
Template: The home owner or general contractor must be present during the template process, to give information about seaming, overhangs or any special designs. To schedule the template, a 50% deposit is required.
Pricing: After template, the measurements will be checked and if necessary we will adjust the price accordingly to actual field measurements.
Tear out old tops: On an Installation of new countertop it may expose unfinished areas of your wall or cabinets. We do not finish these areas.
Plumbing and Wiring: needs to be ready for template. All necessary appliances, stove, sinks, faucets, soap dispenser, cook top, dish washers or any other pertinent items that requires a cut into the stone needs to be taken at the time of template and returned at the moment of installation.
Seaming: The customer will be consulted about the seam location, but the fabricator will define and decide the best location in the moment of fabrication. Typically seams vary from 1/16” to 1/8” and will be visible and touchable.
Installation: The home owner or general contractor must be present during the entire installation process. After the installation, the customer will be asked to sign a form, confirming the satisfaction, quality and damage free condition of countertops.
Incidental Damage: Wall preparation should not be completed prior to installation if at all possible. Care will be taken during the installation, however scrapes, punctures or digs are possible. These items are considered incidental damages and are the customer’s responsibility to repair.
Clean-up: Residual dust should be expected during the countertop installation. The customer should cover areas to contain the dust in the construction area.
