Geek Squad - Best Buy

Nobody knows how to deal with. I got myself a new apple Mac and I never had a Mac before. I was going through all kinds of problems and trying to figure out how to use that. Neither one of us could help the other. He went to Best Buy and I went to Best Buy too for a couple of their educational sessions. They do that and it’s free. You go in and sit down there if you have some questions and sometimes they have a little project for you that you can play with and figure out how to do it. It’s a nice little sessions but you just have to go. It’s $75 to come to the house and then it’s an hourly thing after that depending on what you need to have done. We purchased the computers at Best Buy and the Geek Squad is there. When you purchase the computer, you got number of months or years where you can use the Geek Squad under warranty. The cost is reasonable. The quality of service has always been good. The guys know what they’re doing. You bring the computer in, just walk in the store and you are going to stand in line for quite a while. However, you can go online and book yourself for an appointment. I think you can call and make an appointment. If you have an appointment then you can go in there and you’ll be the next person in line. Once we figured that out, it made a big difference but otherwise you stand in line for a long time. Their punctuality for coming to our house was good. They were very professional.

They kept my computer for two weeks, and they finally sent it somewhere else. It took way too long to fix, and it was very expensive. They were polite and friendly though.
