Update 8/22/2016 Ten-months after first advising Earl about the problems with the paint, he finally addressed the issue of the peeling paint. If it hadn't been for the intervention of the paint dealer regarding the paint warranty (in spite of it being an application issue, not a paint problem), I doubt the work would have been completed. Earl spent a total of 45-minutes, 20-minutes in the morning and 25-minutes that afternoon at my home (as documented by my security camera). He used wire brush to remove loose paint and applied sealer to those areas. It took him 10-months to do 45-minutes worth of work! My recommendation is to find someone with better work ethics, service after the sale, and interpersonal skills. Update 4/2/2016 There has been no communications from Earl of EZ Painting Services since my last update. Therefore, I am lowering my rating of this business. Update: 2/2/2016 It's been 3 1/2 months since I advised Earl that some of the paint was coming off the trim surrounding the windows and he has not addressed the issue. I am aware that his assistant had health issues, but I believe 3 1/2 months is ample time to respond. The paint on the body of the house and on the lanai floor has adhered well, but there seems to be a problem with the trim paint. I have left voice messages and sent e-mails, but in spite of his promises to take care of the problem, he hasn't. In light of these problems with "service after the sale", I am revising my rating. Original Review: Earl and his assistant, Leo, did a wonderful job painting the exterior of our home. They are competent, conscientious, and courteous. Earl is a perfectionist and carefully checks his and Leo's work for completeness. I am also a perfectionist and detail-oriented person - Earl satisfied my high standards. It's difficult, nowadays, to find skilled service personnel that take pride in their work. Earl & Leo are both. I would not hesitate in recommending their services.

Earl was booked pretty solid, and I hoped to have the condo painted before I moved furniture into it. Although I had time to wait for him to become available, I did wind up furnishing a guest bedroom and the kitchen nook before he started. But once Earl and his partner started, they were focused, efficient. and performed very high quality work. We had a problem with the paint color, as I had selected a Sherwin Williams color and he works with Benjamin Moore. I had a quart of the paint mixed at the Sherwin Williams store (SW Glass Bead) and had tested it on my wall, so I knew exactly what the color was that I wanted. Unfortunately, there was a glitch, and either the people at the Benjamin Moore got a bad match or the people at the Sherwin Williams store gave me a color that was slightly off the color on the fan deck. So when Earl's partner started putting it up on the wall next to the test area I had painted, it became obvious that there was a mismatch. No worries -- Earl made it right. He took the rest of the quart that I had purchased at Sherwin Williams over to the Benjamin Moore store and had them mix the paint to match the color in my quart. And that's what went up on the walls. It is stunning! And the white trim adds a nice crisp finish. I'm very pleased with the result and definitely will hire Earl again. (There's a kitchen remodel on the horizon in the next couple of years.)

I hired Earl Zambella (EZ Painting Services LLC) because from the first contact with him he was timely and professional. I couldn't believe how fast he emailed me his estimate. He was available to answer any questions I had about the process and several times had to re-due the estimate (because I couldn't make my mind up)! He and his wife took me around Rotonda West to view other houses he had done and also to look at YELLOW houses so that I could nail down a yellow I would be happy with. Thank GOD they did that as the yellow I picked would have been awful! They also had me look at door colors and ditto...I am very pleased with the final color. Let me start by saying that my house's previous owners (and I am certain there were many) NEVER TOOK THE TIME TO Prepare the exterior walls for painting. I paid extra for BENJAMIN MOORE Regal Select Paint as I always try to do what is right and best. Earl is a certified Benjamin Moore craftsman. This means that my house is now covered with a 9 year non-prorated warranty backed by Benjamin Moore Paints covering labor and materials costs... Earl, being conscientious called in a BM representative to consult on the job. He did this because he wanted to make sure his work would be guaranteed. The rep advised him to take ALL THE PAINT off the HOUSE down to the BRICK. He did that, sealed the brick twice in places, filled in all the cracks (more than 75% of each wall had cracks) with Kover Krack textured sealant and then applied TWO coats of primer before he even could start painting. His assistant, Leo did an awesome job on my brand new front door. Both men did meticulous work with a SMILE and NEVER complained about all the extra work involved. Even the soffits were in terrible shape. He also had to fight the elements as EVERY DAY there were high winds and/or rain! He completed the work last night as the sun was setting. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND EARL for any of your painting needs - that is if you want the job done right! Thank you Earl and Leo for you have brightened my day!

They did an excellent job for a reasonable price. They cleaned up after each day on the job. We were very satisfied with the work they did.
