Dennis removed the palm and ground it's stump. The agreement was that with little effort a replacement tree could be planted in that location. Tree removal went as expected, although if plywood was used in the drop zone there would have been far less damaged to the lawn. Stump grinding was a complete disappointment. I spent two days trying to dig out what was left. Under the mound of chips and sand was still a pretty solid mass. I settled for planting outside the stump area. Going down another 6" would have made the difference. I should have dug the stump out by hand and spent the money on dinner and drinks. It actually took more time with worse results trying to clean up the mess than if I had dug an intact stump. I had dug a previous stump, cut it into quarters then WM hauled it away, no problem. Nice guy, disappointing results.

Dennis Bell provided an excellent quote to remove 3 stumps, very professional, performed the work in a timely manner and did a superb job. I would definitely hire again.
