+ -1 moreOffice staff very professional and courteous, answered all my questions to the best of their ability and if they didn’t know the answer they found out for me from somebody who did know. Owner very professional and courteous, explained the whole process of getting a new roof, explained they were back up with work for 4-6 weeks and answered all my questions about leaking roof. I wasn’t upset about the 6 week back up because it was explained to me from the beginning. All good companies down here get backed up during season, it is to be expected. I am very happy with the work received, thanks.

Description of Work: They were told to estimate cost of repair/replace an area of roof on the back of my house, which was leaking. Approximate square footage of area is 225 sqft. I gave them a contact who oversees all estimates & work done on my house, who lives on site. They were given all contact information, so an appointment could be made and my manager would meet them. I also told them I was wanting an estimate for repair/replace. They never called my contact. They never met with my contact. I called the company and was told they had inspected the roof and the entire roof of the house needed to be replaced and had sent me an estimate in the mail. They didn't even give me an estimate of what it would cost to repair the section I had requested, as this was what I had asked. Upon speaking to them about the roof, I was told something to the affect of "It's a lot of labor getting the material off the section you want and you may as well repair the whole roof, if you consider time, labor & materials you will get a better deal." I've heard this approach before from mechanics who get a customer to buy more parts than are needed, because they "surround" the one part that is broken." I had another company give me an estimate and check the rest of the roof, based upon what Schwartz had said. I was told the area I wanted repairs/replace indeed was shot and evident other contractors I had trusted and hired in the area I live did not do the work correctly. I was further told the rest of the roof should likely last 10 to 15 years more. I was given several choices in material for an upgraded roof which would take care of standing water found on the roof. They charged me $700.00 for a metal roof with a slight pitch and guaranteed their work for basically the rest of my life. I am VERY happy with the work they did. They were extremely courteous and very professional. They were also honest and took pictures to show me what my roof looked like and reviewed all plans to take care of the issues. They did not treat me in a demeaning fashion. I would hire them again most definitely!

Description of Work: The pipe that extracts the odour from the home was deteriorated. They replaced that mesh.

Description of Work: I had a leak that was dripping in my living room on my new hardwood floor. Mr. Swartz's son came out on Mar.20 and determined where the leak was coming from. I got an estimate, by mail on March 28. As we were going to have a severe rain storm on Mar. 22, having not heard from Mr. Swartz, I decided to try to repair it myself. My repair worked. I fill Swartz was not responsive to my problem.(He mailed his estimate instead of calling me). |Mr. Swartz reroofed my previous house and I would have rated that job outstanding in both quality and cost

Description of Work: Roof repair. Replaced one 3" flange, removal existing vent, installed new vent and installed shingles to match as close as possible ( I cannot see any difference in color of shingles).

+ -1 moreOutstanding service and integrity. The roof needed to be replaced due to age and several leaks. Schwartz gave estimates on various products and quality of products. They arrived on time and finished within the agreed upon time frame. The roof looks great. Most important is the following. The shingle supplier showed up and pre-staged all the shingles (150 bundles) on the roof, which took most of the morning. The Schwartz supervisor showed up to start the process of removing and installing the shingles. He noticed that the “Run” numbers on the bundles were not the same which could result in some of the shingles being a little off color from one bundle to another. He could have just ignored this issue and installed the shingles such that any color variation would probably not be noticed. But, he made the decision to have the shingle supplier come back and pick up the shingles and deliver shingles all from the same run. He had to get the shingles all the way from Tampa, 90 miles away. Schwartz lost at least one day, I am sure it was costing him due to this delay. Going this extra effort to replace the bundles shows a lot of integrity and I would certainly recommend Schwarz to anyone needing a roof.

+ -1 moreI asked for an estimate to repair tile roof leak. I was told the roof was not repairable. Received an estimate for removing tile and replacing with a shingled roof. I did not asked for this. This was quite surprising since Schwartz never went on the roof to look at it. They did look in the attic and told me the beams were rotted although estimate did not mention this. Later that day another roofing company, PERMA ROOF Contractors came, immediately got his ladder and before even reaching the top saw the one loose tile and repaired it and checked the rest of the roof and deemed it to be in very good condition. The repair cost $65.00 as opposed to the thousands Schwatz said was needed for repair. To Schwartz I say, I may be old but not stupid. Coudos to PERMA ROOF for their Professionalism and above all HONESTY.

+ -1 moreThey make sure it's done right. If there is a problem they come back and they make sure they get it fixed for me, it doesnot matter if it is one day or a year. Their clean up is excellent. I would use their services again in the future if necessary.
Description of Work: I used the services of A-A-A Schwartz Roofing Inc. for roofing. The last time I used their services was couple of years ago. They weren't the cheapest but from what I understood they were the most dependable.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job on the clean up. There was not one shingle ever found in my plants or any where in my yard. They also did my daughters roof and they were on time, friendly, courteous and professional. He even explained the difference in the colors because I was unsure of what color of roof I wanted to have put on. The whole job was just wonderful and he was a joy to work with.
