WAY OVERCHARGED! They quickly responded, came to our house, and repaired the AC. It was a Saturday so we were charged extra ($137) for the service call. While I know that is standard practice, and believe that is a screwing since it is just another work day, that is not my complaint as they were up front about that charge. HOWEVER, I reviewed my bill after the technician left and realized they charged $153.13 for the part (a capacitor). I looked up the part on Amazon and for the exact same part (same brand and model #), Amazon charged $9 with free shipping. I understand they need to make money on the part, BUT a markup from $9 to $153 is robbery. Astonished, I texted the technician who called me and quickly became argumentative. I said that I understood and was willing to pay the higher service call fee and understand that they also need to make money on the part but was astonished at the 15X markup. He justified the exceedingly high price of the part by saying: "I also charge overtime prices on the part" and "That's how all other AC guys would charge you" and "Welcome to AC 2023". Again, while I understand they need to make a living, and was willing to pay a higher Saturday charge, blatantly being ripped off for the part cost and such poor justifications were shocking, unnecessary, and worse than poor business. As it is not my practice to write poor reviews, as we are all human and make errors, I sent a message to the company stating my complaint. They did not even bother to respond. So in this case, it seemed proper to warn others.

My AC compressor stopped working on a Friday night. In a mild panic I called their number and spoke with their answering service. They explained that there would be an overtime charge for emergency service at night, to which I agreed. Shortly after that, 4 seasons called me back and told me that a technician was on the way. He showed up promptly and on time. This whole process was pretty quick, especially considering that it was Friday night. My air conditioner is somewhat more complicated than most, and the technician honestly admitted that he wasn't familiar with the electronics controlling mine. He replaced a capacitor, and the AC started right up, I was happy, I paid the charge, and he left. A half hour later, the AC quit running. The next service call, the tech (a different one) showed up promptly and on time. He replaced a wire in the thermostat circuit, and the AC started right up. I appreciate that 4 seasons stands behind their work, as they did not charge me for this service. A few hours later, the AC quit running. The next tech also showed up promptly and on time. He diagnosed a bad electronic circuit board, which can only be tested by replacing it. 4 Seasons said they would only charge me for their cost of the board and no labor, since they had failed to fix it before. After he left to pick up the board locally, I realized that the circuit board was under warranty. I called the manufacturer to verify the warranty, and then called 4 Seasons to advise them of the warranty status. The circuit board turned out to be the problem. The AC runs just fine now. The purpose of this review is to pay my highest compliment to a company which stands behind its work and cares for its customers. I believe that the AC problem was legitimately hard to diagnose,and I commend 4 Seasons for not giving up. They were more than fair with me, I only paid for the first visit and the circuit board was under warranty.

They have been servicing our air conditioner for over 12 years and our units have never broken down.

Our AC quit working on Monday morning. I called 4 Seasons around 9:00 am and within 45 minutes their tech was at our door. He determined that the motor was inoperable and we needed to replace the whole system. He gave me a proposal, explaining what each cost was for. We accepted the proposal and made arrangements to have it installed the next day. Zak and Roger arrived at 8:30 on Tuesday morning and immediately went to work, removing the old equipment and replacing it with our new units. By 1:30 that afternoon we had cold air conditioning again. They cleaned up so thoroughly you would never know they had been there. They were very polite, respectful, and professional through the entire process.

It went great. Nathan came out on June 10th to assess what needed to be done. When we bought our house in 2012 we found out a new AC unit was installed just the year before. It was a nice big unit, but what the previous company didn't do was any work to the ductwork that was there. Also, the plenums were just thrown up on either end of the new unit with same holes In ceiling to up in attic. The plenums were just rectangular boxes so air was not going anywhere for proper circulation. Nathan was very thorough with his observations of the current state of the unit. He took all information and went back to office. We received a quote for work to be done by email later that night. Today Roger and Dan came out to start the work right at 8am as we were quoted. They got to work immediately and replaced both plenums and both trunk lines. They cleaned up everything then swept the entire garage. We are very pleased with Dan and Roger's work...they were very professional, courteous and easy to work with. They engaged us in the process and explained everything they were doing which was quite helpful. They completed the work at 11:00am. Nathan, Roger and Dan were all very professional and we will be calling 4 Seasons in the future for all our AC/Heating needs. Thank you.....Linda and Dave Cundy

I highly recommend 4 Seasons. Our AC died on Sunday. We had a service contract with another AC company. They came out and stated the fan blower and module no longer worked. When they called back on Monday, they stated the part would not be in until Wed and they gave us a price. We logged on to Angie's list and called 4 Seasons. Alexis in the office helped us. She is fantastic. She found the part and was able to get it installed for us on Tuesday. Not only that but the cost of the part, installation and a new service contract with 4 Seasons was less than the price of the part with the other company who originally came out. The tech that did the installation was excellent. He showed us areas of the AC that were never cleaned by the other company and he took care of that as well as fixed the original problem. He was very helpful and thorough in checking the system and explaining what he was doing and why. I am very pleased with their service and now have my AC and pool heater under service contract with them. Thank you 4 Seasons for such excellent service.

On March 31 I made an appointment with 4 Seasons for a Diagnostic check of my A/C for April 2 between 1:00 & 3:00 p.m. On the morning of April 2 I received a call from 4 Seasons asking if I was agreeable to moving the service time up to between 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. which was fine with me. At about 10:00 a.m. received a 2nd call from 4 Seasons asking if I was agreeable to having the service done now as the service tech was running ahead of schedule. I had no problem with this. The service tech, Chris arrived a few minutes later. I was very impressed with his efficiency in checking the air handler located in my garage ceiling as well as the outside unit. As I had just replaced the filter, it did not need to be replaced. He ran checks on the compressor and the capacitor. Both checked out fine. My unit is 12 to 13 years old. He thought it was still running okay. Since I did not have a humidistat, I asked him about that. I asked if I needed to put in an order for one and have another service call. He said no, that he carries them on the service truck and could install today. We discussed price and I was agreeable to have him install it. There was no pressure to buy it or install it. It was strictly my choice. I would definitely use them again for service & since I had recently purchased the property and had no annual maintenance contract with them, I will seriously consider entering into a contract for the future.

What can I say ? The technician came, diagnosed the problem, & fixed it in a professional, timely manner that even impressed my house guest. This is the second time but not the last time I'll use them.

They are excellent. It takes them half-hour to forty-five minutes to complete the job, but they are always on time. You can get your appointment right away. I always call ahead before I go down. I just find that they are very reliable and they have a 24-hour emergency service. You do not get charge extra if you carry the maintenance contract with them. There is nothing I do not like.

They’re fine and I have them for years. I would recommend them because they are reliable. They always come when they are supposed to come. They never leave you hanging. They are always neat, clean and very polite.

They're good. I've always used them. They always show up on time and they fix everything to my liking. They're just good people.

We really did not care for their service. I think we had them come out just to look at the system and to do like a spring checkup. The first thing they do is that they like you to sign up a contract and they will come all the time to check on it with you. We did that one time only. They came out when we called. They were responsive. They were there and they were punctual. We would never use them again in the future.

There was more than one person who came down for installation and they were excellent.
