Description of Work: Guy that came out for interior/exterior pest control treatment was very nice & quite friendly. However "his boss" apparently did not listen or did not communicate what we needed to have done. We'd made it perfectly clear, in writing & verbally, that the MAIN reason we were enlisting their service was to get rid of some hornets. After several phone calls (they obviously have phone connection issues - another long story) to find out what the "extra charge" would be to get that taken care of, we were quoted $50.00, which we agreed to pay. We thought that was high, but we'd already paid them $50 when we'd signed up with them - Angie's List status quo - so we were between a rock & a hard place - pay more or not get rid of the problem. All the guy did was spray them with a can & a half of some generic (plain label) bee killer. AFTER we'd made it perfectly clear that we'd already used approx. 8 cans of Raid & Hot Shot Hornet Killer over a period of several weeks at various times during the day & IT DIDN'T WORK. 6-7 days later, still with a hornet issue, we called AGAIN. Our expectation was they'd come back out & take care of the problem at NO CHARGE. The last guy we spoke with (I'll refrain from naming names) got VERY argumentative, VERY ANGRY & made false accusations of what WE said, or more accurately, what WASN'T said. Bottom line was, he made it perfectly clear that we'd have to PAY MORE MONEY for a "bee expert" to come out & "tear down our house" to get to the hornets since we DIDN'T TELL THEM the nest was NOT VISIBLE & was BEHIND THE GUTTER. He even made the comment, "what makes you think we could do all that for a mere $50 bucks?" Really? I couldn't believe my ears! He has absolutely no business dealing with the public #1 & #2 this company apparently is in the "bait & switch" business, not customer satisfaction. We're firm believers in "if ya can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" but we continued to receive requests to send in a review - hence the two month delay in responding. Besides, other Angie's members need to be aware & beware...

We are sorry to hear that you weren’t completely satisfied with the $49 Interior and Exterior Pest Control Service you kindly purchased. As the Angie’s List deal states, this coupon is “not valid for flying insects...flying insect services can be added for an additional fee.” As you know, our team quickly reached out to you to schedule this service and quoted you an additional $50 to provide a one-time hornet/wasp treatment to a particular area you described as “the end of the gutter at a downspout on the back of the house”. Upon treating your home, your service technician advised you there was also a wasp/hornet infestation inside of your soffit (a sealed area behind your gutter). Your service technician also advised you there would be an additional cost to treat inside the soffit due the added work in removing your gutter, opening up the soffit, treating the wasp/hornet infestation, reconstruction of the soffit, and the re-installation of your gutter. This was not acceptable for you, as you felt we should perform this extra work for the $50 one-time fee we had already quoted you to treat the end of the gutter at a downspout on the back of the house. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and are willing to give you a full refund. As you may know, pest control can be tricky, but our track record shows that we are the best in the business at delivering superior service at a fair price. We are grateful that our outstanding service has garnered us over 1500 A+ online reviews. Since 1984, we’ve been committed to 100% customer satisfaction, and have been fortunate enough to have performed thousands of successful pest control services like this one.
