I have to log them on the computer and remain at the computer the entire time they work remotely. I have used them for two years and for any problem I am having with my computer. There is a one time charge of $169/year that covers all the work they do.

The reason I called them because they service customers over the phone. They can go into the computer, and they can fix it for the customers. It was in India. I didn't realize it was that far away. I thought it would be perfect to talk over the phone than to carry the tower to the local computer shop. They charged me as much as they can get me to pay, which is not right. They should have set fees, which is a law. They didn't know what they were doing. They didn't have professional people. The computer was down for a long time, and they would work on it, inside the computer. Sometimes, it would take five days to get the computer up and running again. It was never really up well. It was too much slow. They couldn't figure it out what the problem was because I ended up getting someone else. The number of times I called them during the weekend was the worst thing one could do with them because that is when they have their worst technicians available that really didn't know what they were doing. All in all, it was a bad experience. I would not advise anyone to use them. I did get some help at times. If one is lucky, then they might get proper help. It was like might be and luck that is not how it should be. They should be able to diagnose the problem. If they can't fix it, they should pass it to someone who does know how to fix it. They tried to make me sign three-year contracts; but they do have a year contract too, which I got to know from one of my friend who uses them too. The price was high. I got help once out of the five times.

They are very knowledgeable. they take their time. They are from India so you have to work with the language barrier but they do an excellent job of communicating. I have never had a computer before but they were able to do a great job of understanding my problems. It was a great exchange of ideas.

The techs are from India. The accent is very hard to understand. The main problem was they worked for about a 1/2 hour with me and then said well do you have another person we could log on. I logged onto my wifes name and he had me try to get on a website and I could access it. The gentlemen said this was what I would have to log on with her name from now on. Next I called Dell and they cleaned it up with no problem. I called iYogi to get a refund and they would not honor that and instead offered an extension to my contract.

After talking to two very high pressure people I was so turned off that I hung up. They called me back once and I didn't answer. The second time I did answer and when they tried to push again, I again hung up on them.
