VENCI TILE

Everything went very well. We needed new carpet upstairs with baseboards to finish it off. Mike is a great guy. We had a partner of his paint our first floor, up the stairs and all the hallways. There were plenty of options in the showroom for carpet and it looks and feels great installed. HUGE improvement over the builder grade carpet the original owners put in. All the guys were very courteous and professional. Cleaned up nicely when they were done. Want to add a special nod to Fernando who handled the painting side of things, who was also great. He gave us some design advice on the kitchen when the time comes, since we plan on redoing it and all the floors downstairs in the future. Won't hesitate to use them all again when the time comes.

The visit to our home was prompt and they answered all our questions. The resulting proposal was provided quickly by e-mail. Their showroom is neat and well organized. Following a tile selection, a final proposal was provided. During the initial visit we were told that the initial proposal would be for a representative tile product. When we visited the showroom, we were under the impression that there were few products priced in the range used for the proposal. We determined that a tile product from a different supplier was preferable for us and we requested a labor-only proposal, which was not provided. A review of their second proposal disclosed that the project seemed to be overpriced because sales tax was applied to the entire job, rather than to just materials. Another firm was selected for the work.

They were really wonderful. I had found fantastic tile and brought it into Venci Tile. The guy told me it was marble and that I don't want to use that in the bathroom because of the maintenance and how hard it is. He is very honest, I like his integrity. He helped me choose my tile. He could have been my GC but he told me it would be cheaper if we went with our own people. He found people to do my cabinets and he found me the granite. He recommended some changes in my bathroom and it looks fabulous. I feel very comfortable with him and I recommend him to anyone highly. I will be doing a second bathroom with him in a few weeks. When we were looking for granite, he looked for a precut piece to save me some money and he came with me to the granite place to help make the decision.

The job started and finished as promised. They did a great job. The only negative that I can think of is that they might have done a little better job cleaning up after the job was complete.
